Derl'z Restaurant & Pub

Popped in this bar looking for a good local spot while in town for a family reunion. I saw the club sandwich was a big recommendation so I asked if it was available because it was around 11pm. The bartender said she would ask for me and came back shortly to say the kitchen could accommodate. Thank goodness they could. This was one of the most delicious club sandwich I've ever had!!!

After striking out at other Main Street joints, I tried Derl'z. They were out of wings, so I tried the boneless chicken wings. They were moist nuggets made from chicken breast. If you want good food in Suffolk, give this place a try.

Nice local dive out in Suffolk, with great staff, and food that is basically as if it was something your mom made!

My boyfriend and I have been trying to eat at the local spots the last few weeks. Our friend Mike told us how good the food is here. So today we looked at the menu and placed a take-out order.We ordered a blue cheese burger with crinkle fries. What a tasty delicious burger. Then we ordered the 3 appetizers plate. We mulled over the choices and ended up ordering potato skins, fried pickles and mac n cheese bites. I was not real sure about the Mac n cheese bites. What a wonderful surprise. We will definitely eat here again!!!

I have seen this place but I have never stopped in. Today we decided to try it out. It was awesome. Staff is extremely friendly. This place reminds me of the little bar and pubs I visit in the small towns out west. Only thing missing is a little history bio on the menu. If you want to try a really good burger and experience something authentic outside of the big commercial establishments this is it. I tried the Smokey Mountain Burger. Excellent.

The burger was good, flavorful and cheesy which I like. The fries were undercooked, floppy, soggy and tasteless. The food is mediocre at best. Probably better if I was drinking

Typical bar food, nothing that would make you want to go back. 30 minutes after ordering I was told they ran out if what I ordered.

I went here to watch a football game. It was when hurricane Matthew, hitting the Carolina's. Understand that weather is a factor and was asked to leave which I was happy to do. I just received the food I ordered and was asked to leave at the same time , BEFORE I WAS ABLE TO EAT IT and was asked to pay for it. When I said I didn't want to pay for the food since I was being told to leave I was forced (literally) out. Didn't think I should pay for food that I didn't eat. Bar tender was kind. It was the owner that pushed me out. Pretty sad. It was pouring down rain at the time.

The food wasn't bad, and the wait staff were nice. The place is pretty cool. However at the end of the night, the owner lady was either drunk or just crazy, but the way she was acting was very unprofessional and she kept making messed up jokes about rape and said it about 20 times over and over again. Little did she know my friend next to me just went through that 2 weeks ago and was flinching every time she said it. So needless to say, I'll be taking my money and my crowd somewhere else. I'm not pumping money into a business that's owned by someone that thinks shit like that is okay.

We ordered old bay wings and honey bbq. We typically get all flats and they stated we could do majority flats but they gave us all flats!! Wings were huge. The ladies behind the bar were quick and polite. Very good for a Pub for wings!!
