Decided to pick up dinner before I got to the marina and had the pleasure of making my first visit to Delta Pie.Placed my order for something I thought DH would like and while waiting, amused myself with talking a look at all the food stuffs on display.My order was ready in a flash from their wood fired oven Friendly staff. DH and I enjoyed the pizza and will absolutely be back.PS: They take contactless pay.

I took one bite out of an old-fashioned cheese pizza, and WOW. bursting with flavor, as soon as the slice was in contact with my mouth I felt this resonance, this energy, as if I a true Italian, had indeed found the best pizza in the United States. I can't say enough about this place. We stopped by last summer and built this year's summer schedule around coming back for it. My husband loves pizza, has tried it all over the US, and has decided this is his favorite. I totally agree. The topnotch ingredients, expansive menu, and cooked-to-order wood fired pizza is extraordinary. Plus, the place has great little gifts and artisan snacks.

I have been turned away here 4 times. Either they are "out of food", or they have too many orders booked. WTAF?They simply don't want the business. If you don't want customers, I would suggest locking the door early. Before your posted closing time. Total rookies at the restaurant business.
