This was not good. I generally don't do bad reviews unless I think it will be helpful but please do not waste your money. I ordered curry chicken and it was basically baked chicken with no flavor. Very bland. Rice and peas were bland, plantain was not good either, not sweet or flavorful like I am used to. I only ate this much because I paid $11 for it! Just because you put curry on chicken, does not make it curry chicken. The one star was for presentation when I first opened the box!

The food in my opinion is not cooked to perfection every day, which is very disappointing but in this particular situation, the oxtails have nothing but complete fat all over them mind you you're paying $24 for only oxtails and two sides. The service makes no sense because they bring you your food and show you it and you tell them you're not happy with it and their immediate responses, if we cut any more fat off of the oxtails, they'll be no meat that's not true I went home and I cut them myself. There was meat, but there was definitely not a lot and that's because those oxtails were nothing but fat fat all around it, other places offer you at least rise comes with it regardless the fact that they consider rise aside and not a part of it is already displeasing

I wish I could give this 0 stars. This has to be the worse Jamaican food I have ever eaten. Paid $13 for large curry chicken. 3 chunks of chicken breast with no flavor. I have never seen curry chicken with no color... look at the photo! This stuff was pale and tasted as such. Rice was super gummy with no taste of coconut. Cabbage was bland and plantains slimy. I should've just went to my regular spot but wanted to try somewhere new. Never again. Save your coins. The curry chicken I cook at home is at least 5x better than this mess.

I stopped by on a Saturday evening specifically for the Jerk Chicken. I haven't had any since I moved out to VA and have been craving it for a while. As previous reviews have stated, the jerk chicken isn't as hot as I'm used to it. That might be the only downside to my meal. I loved the rice and plantains. I would return if I was in the area!

great food and customer service. The place was very peaceful and family friendly and we were greeted as soon as we entered. I ordered the oxtails lunch special with rice n beans and Mac n cheese. You also get complimentary plantains ( like 3 on the plate ). The lunch include an entree , two sides and a drink however the machine was down so they charge you to get a bottle drink and the prices are not as listed on the menu either which you don't find out until you order and get the receipt. I always ordered beef patty and cocoa bread (not pictured) which I didn't like because the beef patty was really bland and bread not as fresh. My parents ordered the stew chicken and her chicken which had a nice flavor. It is a little pricey and I probably will not try again.

My husband and I ordered the jerk chicken and curry chicken. For sides we got mac and cheese, potato salad, and the rice and peas. We enjoyed the food very much. And the Carribbean drinks were the cherry on top. I can't wait to go again.

I'm usually never one to leave reviews but I couldn't help it. I ordered the oxtails with macaroni and rice&peas. The quality of the food was enough to keep me feeling satisfied but in regards to taste not so much. The flavor of both the meat and rice and peas was very bland...VERY. And you can't convince me the macaroni isn't anything but Kraft with added seasoning.
