Das Festhaus

The Festhaus in Busch Gardens Williamsburg's Germany section is an ideal place to take a break while enjoying a day at the theme park. It's great when it's too hot or too cold outside, and it's host to themed shows during the Halloween and Christmas holidays. The food is okay; the drinks are way overpriced but they do have a nice selection of local beers. It's a cool atmosphere overall. Ample bathrooms are attached to the building as well.

So this is the main mess hall at Busch gardens. Emphasis on mess. While I understand food at any amusement park is gonna be grossly overpriced I at least expect the quality to follow suit. The food felt like stuff I could have grabbed out of the frozen aisle in a dollar general. The selection was okay and the choices as you go through the line had all your usual suspects (mozz sticks, Mac and cheese, salad, and cake) with a twang of German sausage thrown in there. The bathrooms were kind of gross and a little outdated.While there is a stage with a live act every day I wouldn't recommend spending a whole lot of time in here.

This is my go to place to take a break at Busch Gardens They have an abundance of seats and several food options there is even a gift shop insideThey have a craft beer place as well with its own private seating They have many shows on the stage here and the food is pretty decent I love love love the giant Black Forest cake

They had a great show to watch on a very very hot day. They have tons of seating and they serve different types of food. I thought the food was just okay but I might have gotten a not great batch.

There's German food and the venue itself is nicely decorated for the theme. I had a German Sampler which included chicken that was very dry and hard to eat.A group of performers will dance every now and then on the stage while you eat. Workers come by once in a while to clean up any messes customers leave behind. Unsurprisingly, the prices are super high especially considering the portions aren't even that big or good. I'd recommend you buy the All Day Dining Meal to get your money's worth instead.

Cafeteria style dining. I got the sausage platter and they let me substitute all brats for knock wursts. I also only wanted the hot potato salad and no sauerkraut or red cabbage and they accommodated it. We are during the live show too which was fun! Great friendly staff. Food was hot and tasty.Bier spot here too! Try the tart Cherry beer so good (sour patch kid in drink form lol)

I only recommend this place for a seat away from the shade and possibly some entertainment with plenty of German style dancing. The food, though? Hm....I got a sandwich, mac n cheese, cup of grapes, and a meat platter. It was $60. The food here is absurdly overpriced as is everything else at this park. I routinely go to Disney World and Land and even their food isn't this expensive, nor is it this bland either.There is at least lots of seating and air conditioning, so it's a good spot to rest your feet.

Attended this the first weekend in December and it was packed! The dining hall was decked in Christmas sparkle and though cramped with wall-to-wall people, the mood was festive! We ate snacks while watching the musical dance entertainment performed adeptly by probably the young college students on break. It was great as everyone enjoyed the show and was quite pleasant despite the overwhelming number of people gathered! Fun times!!

Way overpriced! The food is good but not worth what they charge. Must be 1000% markup!

This food was free bc of a hotel voucher we had. It wasn't good at all. Mac n cheese was greasy and bland, and the chicken was bland, dry and rubbery skin. There's no way I'd pay for this if I had to. The seating area was nice though. Everything overpriced here and didn't look good. I'd definitely go somewhere else
