We eat at Dante's on Ironbridge all the time. We ordered delivery from here thinking we would have the same experience and we did not. The order was wrong the food was bland, and it was just straight up disgusting. I asked the owner of Dante's on Ironbridge if they owned the one in colonial heights and he said they used to but they sold it and let the new owners keep the name in the sale... BIG MISTAKE!!! They are not representing the name well... too bad so sad... We will continue to support Dante's on Ironbridge and will never return to Dante's in colonial heights.

More of a take out spot. Don't expect a fancy ambiance. Although they do have lots of seating if you choose to dine in. Also has a bar area. The Dante's white pizza was decent. Pizza was the perfect thickness, not too doughy and not too thin. Ample amount of toppings. Crust was cooked perfectly. Cheese was melty. 4.25$ short draft beer. Customer service could've been better.

We were a little shocked to walk in exactly at noon on a Friday and see this restaurant completely empty. Because of that I can't say much about the service - it was quick and friendly but then again, there was no one else to attend to. We started with garlic knots, but no sooner had we ordered that the server brought us out hot rolls. I don't mean to complain, because those rolls were some of the best hot rolls I have ever had, but if we had known we were going to get bread to start we probably wouldn't have doubled up on the carbs right away!My friend got the lasagna with a side salad, and I got a small chicken ceasar salad and a pepperoni stromboli, planning ahead for leftovers. As we were waiting, the garlic knots came out, and they were delicious. Too many places drown their knots in oil, but these were fluffy with just a little oil and just enough garlic. The real star, though, was the sauce. The dipping sauce is to die for! I'd like to order a few jugs to keep at home for my own pasta. In the meantime, a gentleman came in to dine alone, but it was still empty and awkward. While waiting for the food, I started noticing some small issues. The decor could really use an update - the interior is bland and a little dingy. Dirty ceiling tiles. Old, sometimes stained silk flowers on the tables. Not every table had salt and pepper. There was no music playing, so it was very quiet. It needs a pop of color and some new decor to really make it homey and comfortable. I will say, though, that the kitchen and server areas looked spotless. The food came out fairly quickly and was, like the garlic knots, subtle and delicious. I had some of the best grilled chicken I've ever had on a salad. As for the lasagna, I thought the sauce was a little sour, but my friend said she enjoyed it. My stromboli was good, and their pepperoni had a nice flavor, but it was a little undercooked for my taste. It was strange - it looked crispy, but it wasn't. A little crunch would have really taken it over the top. All in all, I'm not sure why Dante's isn't more busy. Sure, the place needs a refresh, and the server could use a little more training on the menu and how to give really good customer service, but the food is delicious. I also forgot to mention the prices - Dante's prices are excellent. Many things are around $10 for lunch, and that's cheaper than most fast food! If you're in the area, pop in and give them a try. I'll definitely be going back to try some of their other offerings, like a wrap or a sub.

My friend and I went in to have dinner, she ordered stuffed shells I tried the Lasagne. I ask for the salad to go I'd just have the lasagne then. My friends salad came out full of onions, which she had ask for none otherwise the salad looked good! My lasagne looked horrible from the time they set it down! The noodles on the bottom were burned, but I pulled those away and tried to eat the rest of it! I took one bite and had to spit it out. The girl came over and ask how it was? I told her horrible I couldn't even eat it that it was burnt and so salty I couldn't stomach it. She went and talked to the owner and we can make you another lasagna and my friends salad came some shells since hers was so salty! We both declined, they never offered anything else. We got up to leave with meals that were $15 each. We got there to pay and he said I only charge $10 for your langsam why thanks I thought for Nothing I ate!!! My friends salad came who only ate 2 of her 4 shells 1/2 salad. Then bought a 2 Liter soda and a dessert and her bill only came to $28? Never saw the 15% off that bill he said! Me go back, NEVER

Well, I'm not a fan of this place. They butcher Italian food. The lasagna, calzones, and pizza are horrid. However, I was pleasantly surprised last night with their linguine and white clams. It was late and I've been dying for clams recently. So, I figured, WTH. I received my order and, to my surprise, it was great! Linguine was so-so, but it was chocked full of clam meat and open clams in the shell! I was shocked! The only thing was their stupid little bread knots, and they didn't send butter. Ok, maybe my bad because I didn't ask. Anyway, that linguine and clams was very good.

We ordered 2 spaghetti combos. They came with garlic knots and 2 salads. The food was really good, this was our first time at this location. We got our food to go instead of eating here. The staff seems to be a younger crew up front they were helpful explaining the menu. The inside building setup is a little weird? But they have a full bar and some tvs you can watch while waiting too.

As seen by my previous reviews, we order often and enjoy their food. Today's lunch was good as usual. However, I guess I'm going to quibble over $2. As you can see from the pic, the lunch specials are $8. I ordered two specials and after my order was paid for and placed (with $5 delivery and 25% tip added) - I received a cc notification that $2 had been charged, followed by an email saying my total had been adjusted up $2....because their menu price was wrong on their site! I support small businesses and know times are tough, but if you advertise a price, that's what the customer pays even if just a small amount of a difference. We will go back to eating at Vincenzo's where at least the price is the price.

We went to Dante's as a large group of adults and kids after a soccer game for a local tournament. After 20-30 minutes of being seated, we finally got our order taken. The staff was friendly and did the best they could, but the kitchen definitely wasn't prepared for us even though we were the only ones in the restaurant on a Friday night. It took at least an hour to get our food. For some reason the Philly Cheesesteak came with mayonnaise, so we asked for no mayo. The food didn't have a ton of flavor and was disappointing. Unfortunately will not be a go-to for us next time we're in Richmond.
