What a great brewery! I stopped in based on the great yelp reviews and was not disappointed. The staff was very friendly and let me try several beers to help me decide. My favorite was the Perihellyan Pale Ale, so I got a glass and sat outside to enjoy it. There was a band playing inside and a pizza food truck outside. This place is dog friendly, also a plus for me. You should definitely stop in if you're in the area.

Def stop in! I am a big fan of RVAs beer/brewery scene! I never would have come or known about this brewery had I not moved to midlo. The beer is good! It's a parking lot brewery vibe like strange ways or what hardywood was at the very beginning. The outdoor seating is just metal furniture with a tarp-- no problem for me! Nothing fancy but I like it! Inside it's big! I did not realize but they have bands sometimes and we stopped in and heard some music there Saturday evening. Lots of fun. Bar tenders were awesome! They have a food truck or 2 every time I've been. I definitely recommend If you're sside -- check it out!

My wife and I stopped by here on our way through town. It is about a 10 min drive once you get off 288.This is a really nice place. It recently opened but they have a large beer selection. The one that we liked best is the Roll with the punches lager.You can also buy chips and salsa while there- They occasionally have a food truck there but didnt on the night we stopped by.The staff were really nice. There is indoor and outdoor seating. There is also a schedule posted for live music.The only negative that I saw is that parking is very limited. It is in a business complex. Maybe there is a place for overflow parking, but I didnt see it.They also have some cool shirts!Definitely will go back again! I wish i had a place like this near where i live!

Off the beaten path...but only a lil bit!!!!The atmosphere was inviting & fun, the staff were friendly & attentive & ( most importantly) the beer was great. I'll definitely add this to my personal brew tour!!!!

We love this little brewery! The staff is friendly, the atmosphere is fun and cozy (grateful dead memorabilia mixed into decor) and most importantly the beer is solid. We have been at least 6 times and have enjoyed every visit!! We really like the Sunday bingo games! Cheers!

Crazy Rooster is a great addition to the small group of breweries west of Richmond. Awesome selection of beers. Small snacks available. Live music most weekends. Friendly staff. Their Rye Barleywine stand out to me as one of the best.

Thanks for hosting Jon Meadow's Trio! Had to leave early because I only heard about him playing there this morning. I had other plans. Anyway, get him back and they will come. Peace
