CP Shuckers

The service here was great- super friendly! We had my family's dogs with us and they were very accommodating and dog friendly. For an appetizer my mom got the tuna bites, which was honestly a fresh piece of tuna- very impressed. I ordered the bay chips and cheese, the chips were freshly made and the cheese was pretty good. My mom and I both got the she crap soup. I did the cup which was more than enough as it's very, very flavored, and after a while I was a bit sick of it. It was good, but be prepared for something very different than you are used to. The steamed shrimp was good. Two people I was with got the prime rib dip which was very good! My sister got the pickle fries which were also good and the ranch was obviously homemade and very good. I tried the orange crush and another tropical one. Both were good, but the tropical one was definitely better.

I am a happy hour junky so I order food from happy hour menu. I had clams and chicken wings I can say clams and chicken wings were delicious. Jessica who helped us she was great and helpful. It had a sport bar ambiance and at the same time it is the place for locals to hang out as wellIf you are around just stop by you will enjoy too

CP Shuckers is a great spot for late night eats near the Oceanfront and since we were looking for a spot to dine in and grab a drink, we decided to stop in. We arrived close to 10pm on a Wednesday night and were carded before being able to enter. Since no one was at the podium when we walked in, we figured we could seat ourselves and we did. Even though this spot has a large bar area (which was packed), I like how the dining area is far enough away so that you can dine in peace. The server was really nice and took our orders right away. I decided on the Fish and Chips and a Margarita. Everything was served pretty quickly. The drink was okay and the food was decent. The fish seemed a tad bit overcooked but wasn't unbearable. It was served with a remoulade sauce which was pretty tasty.CP Shuckers is open till 2 AM, 7 days a week so it's definitely a decent spot to head to if you're looking for some food and drinks late in the night or any time. I will probably return and try some other items but definitely check them out next time you're in the area.

Wonderful! We were lucky enough to get the last table in the place right before dinner rush. Our server set the tone for a fun and relaxed meal by making me laugh right away. We ordered drinks and appetizers. The Pain Killer paired beautifully with the Lumpia appetizer. The dipping sauce was garlicky rather than overly sweet. We had the crab cakes and the NOLA pasta dish with andouille sausage and shrimp. Dessert was a second cocktail. It was about $100 for the two of us but if you're not ordering cocktails it would be less. Highly recommend.

This place is exactly what it looks like. Great bar, great service, great food! We got the wings and pot stickers for a quick bite to eat and they were great. Their wings are above average, especially for a place that doesn't come off as a wing spot. If you're expecting fine dining, go somewhere else. If you want a friendly sports bar with great food, seating, and service...this is THE spot along the oceanfront.

What a great find!We were checking out the VA Beach area and wanted some local oysters. Yelp sent us to the right place for sure.They had local oysters from the James River, which were extremely tasty! We bounced around the menu a bit and tried the wings and tuna poke plus a few other things. Everything was really good. Great beer and drink selection.The service was great! We got like 4 waves of oysters and our server (Alea O.) was ready to bring in the next wave as soon as we finished one. She gave us some good recommendations and was just a great server.The place had a sports bar look which was pretty cool. Very clean including the restrooms. Just a great stop!

We were here Wednesday happy hour and crab leg special.Crab legs were so good with old bay seasoning, but I think it was a little bit shy from one and a half a pound.My BF ordered a chicken sandwich and chips. He said the sandwich was OK a bit dry but we loved the chips, you must try them!Mussels bowl was so good, i've had some good mussels bowl in my past, but I think this just might be the best.And they make the best tequila old-fashion, yummy! I thought my wine was $2 during happy hour but no, it was two dollars off a regular price.I recommend this place if you happen to be in Virginia Beach or if you live around here definitely a must try spot .

First thing I noticed was how many TVs there are here (inside and out). Really casual spot, with an extended happy hour that goes until 7pm. Service was REALLLLY fast, like we got in and out of the restaurant within an hour. My expectations for the food were not super high, but I was pleasantly surprised by my Reuben. Ordered the bay chips and cheese as a $5 app, and they hit the spot (the cheese was nacho cheese).Looks like they might allow dogs on the patio too, I saw dog bowls stacked, would be worth a call.

Great food for a quick stop as we just in town for a mini vacation. We arrived and were seated immediately, were taken to upper level away from bar since we had the kids. Good menu selections. Our server was great and super nice to offer suggestions as it was our first time visiting. Family ordered fish and chips, shrimp tacos (arrived soggy), mahi special (fish was really small) but tasty, kids pasta and kids fries and tenders (really yummy) and my fish and chips arrived super late when my family was finishing their food.Otherwise good visit

Ate there twice in the same day. Stopped in for a late light lunch to sample the menu. Had some fresh oysters & oysters Rockefeller & edamame. Svc was great. Food was great. Decided to go back for dinner. Not the same. Oysters were not so great. Shrimp over seasoned. Mussels were also cooked in a broth that was too salty and some of the mussels were very cold. Not a good experience. I would have sent the mussels back but my friend declined.
