Cowlick’s Creamery

What a cute little place. It's that place you walk by and go... 'sure... I could do some of that'. Upon entering, it's fairly straight forward. A place to peek at the creameries and yes, you can have small samples. When ordering you can do your usual add-ons and include sprinkles (which I did) and other various items.FYI - they don't have a bathroom if you're looking for one. But that's ok. It really is designed as a place to just grab-n-go. If we're ever in the area, we'd totally come back. We've been to Cape Charles a few times in the years since I wrote my first review, and I'm thrilled to report Cowlick's remains a favorite for fantastic ice cream. On our recent trip we went nearly every day, and greatly enjoyed the sundaes! I personally loved the s'mores ice cream. Make sure to come here if you're in town!

We were strolling Cape Charles on a Sunday and this was one of the few businesses open.The Ice Cream specialist behind the counter was so friendly and let us sample the Nutter Butter flavor. It was divine! I recommend it on a cone.

MOOve your way down the street to try Cowlick's!Highly recommend! I'll start off by saying our intention was to get ice cream at Brown Dog but the line was so long that we decided to try Cowlick's Creamery.we were able to walk right in and I was immediately excited to see that Black Raspberry Truffle was a featured flavor...I wasn't disappointed. The service was fast and friendly and the area was clean and spacious. We sat on the "cow"ch and enjoyed the creamy deliciousness.Glad we stopped in and found a new favorite in Cape Charles. Give them a chance.

Stopped by Cowlick's and couldn't have been happier. Good range of flavors and toppings. The waffle cones were delicious. Service was quick and friendly. Will definitely go here again next time I'm in town!

Really enjoyed this place. Got my ice cream and walked to the square to enjoy it and people watch.

Really good ice cream.. love it.. very flavorful.. must try place.. we were visiting and happened to accidentally visit this place and were pleasantly surprised.

Can't give a good review if we went by twice well before closing (8:40pm tonight for a 9pm closing) and around same time yesterday and they were closed early. Door was locked. Lights on and workers inside staring at us as we try to open the door. Blank stares back. 4 other families walked by while we were there and tried to go in without any luck. Oh well. Don't think we will try to go by a third time.
