Country Butcher Shop & Deli

EDIT (3/27/24): Since my review of Country butcher shop 4 months ago, I've stopped giving them my business. New associate is rude and unwelcoming. Literally asked if I could get a pound of meat and dude yells "NO!". Uhhhhh...okay lol. Just wanted to get a pound of chuck roast and then he had to ask one of the main butchers and gave me my pound anyways. Then, I asked to buy something else and he said rudely asked me how many people I'm feeding. Myself, sir. Dude doesn't have any social skills and should do something else. He doesn't even greet customers and just awkwardly stares at them. The meat is okay but overpriced for the quality. The lack of professionalism this store has is unreal. The business Facebook is ran like a personal page with weird posts and personal opinions. I've since then found a new and wayyyyy better butcher shop called Central Meats. I live 2 minutes away from Country Butcher and make the 15-20 minute drive to Central. Trust me, stay away from this butcher shop and do business with folks who actually care about their customers.

I needed smoked turkey legs cut into one inch pieces. I couldn't find another butcher shop to do it for me or one that sold smoked turkey legs, which was weird considering it's Thanksgiving season. The price was more than reasonable per lb and they were very helpful on the phone when I went to order ahead.I am just now picking them up and they look perfect. I went in early to get them so they wouldn't be super busy and I could get in and out. The guys were nice and comedic per usual. Have to start coming back out for our meat packs again. I really appreciate them cutting them for me so I can make my smothered turkey legs this year.They were also very fast in helping the ladies that were in before me and had my order already ready for pickup. I love this business.

We finally found a local butcher who is consistently dependable and always a good time. Not only do they have superior cuts of meat, the store has great little sauces and rubs as well. Country butcher has become a monthly stop for our family.

A high quality meat market with friendly staff and timely service. Easy to find parking. Not too expensive in comparison to other Jett markets in the area. Can always count on high quality tasty products. Would highly recommend to others.

Walked in hopeful to find a good butcher in the area. Unfortunately walked out shocked at the lack of customer service. Came in an hour before closing when ordering the man rudely commented "oh you're one of those. That walks in right before closing and wipes out the store" I stopped ordering and made sure to not add anything else to the order since he felt some type of way. I'll be sure to take my business elsewhere. Where purchasing multiple things is appreciated. One of my ordered was chicken wings and I asked if I was able to get all flats, he yelled "NO!" I understand if it's something that can't be done but answering so rudely was not appreciated. Will be returning my business to central meats even if it's a further drive. Really hope management takes into account negative reviews as it's driving away business.

I come up with reasons to visit the CBS!You walk in with idea, and I have yet to leave without three other cuts. The staff is very friendly, and more importantly, knowledgeable! The meat, the sausage, everything is beautiful. Make a stop, and the surrounding shops are a nice way to put together diner, and enjoy a stroll.

The people were so friendly, funny, and helpful. I called to order a Prime Rib Roast they had it ready the next day. What fantastic service, not forgetting to mention it was fantastic.

Wow. I'd bought meat from this place for a long time and never had any issues up until recently. I ordered the family pack and my ground beef was brown when I took it out of the freezer to thaw it. I called up to the store to tell them about it, and the guy I spoke with hung up on me after he told me he "didn't believe that could be possible if I froze it as soon as I got it because he's been doing this for 40 years." I called back to ask why he hung up and if he wanted me to bring the frozen meat up to the store to show him and he told me the same thing and hung up on me again. So classless. I'll be looking for another butcher in the area.
