After getting engaged, we were so excited to book our wedding vendors; however, finding the right photographer was the most challenging for us. I had a clear idea of what type of photos I wanted: light, airy, natural, and pretty photos that didn't look too staged or posed. When I came across Cortese Photography & Film, I knew I found the right photographer for us! Their style exactly matched what I was envisioning, their prices are incredibly reasonable (for our package we got an engagement photoshoot, eight hours of coverage with two shooters, and print rights to our pictures), and they are a sweet couple that is passionate about what they do. We could not be more happy with the way our wedding photos came out! They are even better than what we were envisioning. Syndy and Angelo captured every shot we asked for and so many others. The love and joy we felt that day can be felt through looking at the pictures and that is really remarkable!

We were coming in from out of town to elope on the beach. We had a small ceremony with no reception planned and were trying to make plans from Texas with vendors we had no idea about. We contacted Cortese Photography after seeing their name on the Knot. We originally only spoke about pricing for photos and tried to make a plan for our special day. After numerous emails and phone conversations my new wife and I decided to do photos and a video. We were able to Skype with them so that we could put a face to the names as well as get to know them better and have them get to know us. It was slightly worrying at first to send money to a stranger half way across the country but that feeling was relieved after our Skype meeting and continuous communication. The day of the wedding they arrived earlier than anticipated and were able to set up quickly and devise a plan of action of who was going to be where and get the specs on the specific photos we were wanting. They were professional and courteous and the day went off without a hitch. They offered to stay a little while longer after our time slot to ensure we had the photos we wanted. They conducted interviews with my wife and I and her father and the questions were meaningful and allowed for answers that did not need to be scripted. A couple of weeks after the wedding we received our pictures and about a week or two after that we received our video. Our friends, family and ourselves were SO HAPPY with the product. The photos were great and the video was perfect. They were able to capture our event in such a beautiful manner and got some great candid shots as well. The video was perfect as well. From song choice to editing we could not have directed better than they directed themselves. As far as photographers go they gave us the best product for our money. If they were local to where we lived they would have gained a lot new clients from all of our friends but unfortunately, for us, they are in VA. IF you are looking for photography/videography for your special day I highly recommend using them. Price, quality, personalization and professionalism at its finest. I cannot say enough about how amazing they are and how amazing their product is. Thank you Cortese for making our unforgettable day more unforgettable for many years to come.
