I met up with some of my friends and their kids who live here while I was on vacation and we ended up here. I thought it was a bit pricey but, they have a captive audience and they are located near The Timbuck II shopping center which probably feeds them business as well. The race track is really small and isn't challenging which is good for younger riders. In addition to go karts they have bumper cars and a game room with ski ball. Guess where I was most of the time? Playing ski ball! The staff wasn't really very friendly either. My friends spent a good amount of money here and with a family it can get pricey real quick. Check their website though because I was able to find $1.00 off go kart coupons.

Had a good time here with a 8 and 6 year old. We did the doubles for the go karts. Track isn't large but good enough. We rode our bikes and there was bike parking. Arcade is small but machines worked well.

Kind of pricey, and the track is really small - but they have a captive audience. All their ads trumpet "junior karts" which they neglect to mention stop running at 4:30, hence the 2 vs. 3 stars.

These guys are rude, obnoxious, humorless, and should not be in this business. The unpleasant fellow running the go carts was absolutely abusive.

The problem with Corolla Speedway is that it is ultimately a sideshow and not a destination. Granted, the local residents would probably object to building a go-karting complex proper- too much noise, they would say- but to force all drivers to run on 1 track takes away from all of the fun. You can't have smaller children running their own races on a kiddie track; instead, they have to ride shotgun with you, and if the arcade doesn't grab their attention (and it really is too small to keep them entertained), you end up with nothing for anyone under the age of 13 to do. The racing isn't bad; nor are the karts. They run as expected, and you can create some fun if you find the gaps down low to get people on the inside of the near turn, but most people who attempt it spin the other poor soul out. Add the fact that the races are overpriced, and you end up with an experience that is far from fulfilling. I would suggest driving up to Virginia Beach or down to the Kitty Hawk/ Nags Head area if you're looking to do some karting for a half day- while the Northern Outer Banks have yet to see a proper karting center akin to the NASCAR Speedpark in Concord Mills built, you're better off avoiding Corolla Raceway altogether.

The arcade is tiny and the games in the arcade don't all work. It's expensive - $56 for 5 minutes for 4 people. The front desk staff is rude and don't enforce the same policies as the guys on the track. Definitely do not recommend.

I HAVE NEVER BEEN SO APPALED IN MY LIFE. I am currently visiting Duck, NC. We drove 25 minutes one way to stand in an hour line to buy tickets for our kids to ride this raceway. While were standing in line, the kids were looking at the arcade games. It was crowded and cramped and another boy shoved my 11 yr old daughter into one of those quarter slider machines and she accidentally bumped it with her knee. The man working the go karts flew over the counter and literally screamed with spit flying out of his mouth for all of our kids to get out of his place It was like he was on crack. He was screaming and pointing in my daughters face that she was trying to "rip off a quarter from his establishment". My daughter is 11 but very tall and looks older....He had her hysterical crying and my 9 yr old as well. They sobbed all the way home in the car about how they would never steal anything and how it was an accident. You ruined their entire nite you obnoxious jerk.....read the other reviews as well....it's not the first time. Save your time and effort......and I hope its true that what comes around goes around.

This place is so sketchy - especially the big, dirty guy that works there. My son and his friends were hanging out in the arcade after riding the go-carts and this man told them to get out of there but they weren't really sure why. Then, they noticed that my sons cell phone was missing along with his friend's pointer laser was missing too, so they came to find me. When I went back to ask the man if he had found them, he couldn't look me in the eye and said that he looked everywhere for the phone and laser but couldn't find them. I decided to use "find my iPhone" and we immediately heard the sound, but the man was helping someone else and pretending that he couldn't hear the sound. I practically had to go behind the desk and get it myself. It was in a drawer by the cash register where they put lost and found items. The laser was there too. I thought he had " looked everywhere." He was trying to steal from kids! The go-carts aren't that great either, so stay away!
