Our first visit to C&B was actually quite good! I was a bit nervous reading the reviews, as they are all over the place. The ambiance here is, in one word, odd. It's as if from the outside you're looking at an expensive restaurant and inside you're met with an interior akin to a 2-star family joint. I made a reservation for 4 on a Thursday night. Whitney was our server and was great! She shared the specials, had water refilled at adequate times and was social and knowledgeable. We started with the crab dip and my husband had the she crab bisque. Both were phenomenal! The warm bread with butter that came out was lovely also. I ordered the Oaxaca old fashioned and it did not disappoint! The right amount of mezcal and reposado; chef's kiss. On to the ordering; 3 of us got filet (1 medium the other 2 medium well). All were done to perfection and absolutely delicious! My dad had another cut (which I can't remember) but enjoyed it immensely. All of the sides are quite shareable. My dad wanted a baked potato and they were out of them ...huh??? That's just so weird to me. We ordered the brussels, mashed potatoes and asparagus and all were very good. The brussels were by far the best. For the price you pay per side, I thought the portions were generous. The drawbacks here are the noise and the ambiance. Other than that, we would return!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Cork and Bull, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was warm and inviting, setting the tone for a fantastic evening. The service was top-notch, with our server being attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly. Now, onto the food - oh, the glorious food!We started with the *Steak Bites*, which were cooked to perfection and literally melted in our mouths. The seasoning was spot on, and the portion was generous.Next up were the *Fried Shrimp*, which were crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The batter was light and flavorful, complementing the succulent shrimp beautifully. We also indulged in a dozen *Oysters*, which were freshly shucked and brinily delicious. The accompanying cocktail sauce and mignonette added a nice tanginess. But the pièce de résistance was the *Cheesecake* - heavenly doesn't even begin to describe it! The creamy texture, the caramelized crust, and the burst of freshness from the berries... it was love at first bite!To drink, I opted for a *Fruity Mocktail*, which was refreshing, fruity, and expertly crafted. The perfect accompaniment to our meal!In short, Cork and Bull exceeded our expectations in every way. If you're a foodie looking for an exceptional dining experience, look no further!

I don't normally leave reviews. But, Cork & Bull deserves this one.The atmosphere is amazing! Wood, fire, comfy seating. You can't beat it. The entire staff greeted us and congratulated us on our anniversary celebration. So thoughtful. We were made to feel at home with our server, Suzanne, more than attentive, yet giving us plenty of time to consider menu options and choose a wine. Her recommendation for an Italian wine was spot on.The food was excellent! She crab bisque was spot on, reminded us of a bisque we had in Charleston-which is supposed to be the best in the U.S.. My wife ordered the Elk Chops and I, the Porterhouse. The elk was amazing! The porterhouse was cooked perfectly and was tender, with the exception of the point. It could have been trimmed a little better. After dinner we were surprised with a complimentary champagne toast. Very thoughtful. Desert was fantastic my wife raved about the creme brulee. The cheesecake was very different, but exceptional, I was very surprised with the presentation. We were given plenty of time to finish our wine, no pressure to give up the table, much like dining in Europe. When it came time to settle up, Suzanne told us that our $80 bottle of wine was taken care of by a neighboring table! What a blessing. Rest assured, we will pay this forward.Cork & Bull is an amazing dining experience and we will be back!

I have to say for the price I was not impressed. My husband and I went there for our anniversary dinner. The service was below the standards for what we paid for our meals. Although the place had mediocre ambiance I was not pleased with the service. What I wanted for a meal was not available on the menu as well. My luck!!!

Very good food. The Venison was surprisingly amazing. Went here twice in a week, no complaints. Highlly recommended. Place is very nice, drinks and service were great. Bartender was awesome the first day we went. Be ready to spend some $, but well worth the cost.

Been wanting to try this place for date night for quite some time! We made reservations and arrived a little early so waited at the bar until our table was ready. I've never had an espresso martini but the bartender recommended it's one of the best so I decided to try it. I was not disappointed! After a short time, our table was ready and Brittany was our server for the evening. She also made great recommendations and we decided to share the Porterhouse steak in addition to their amazing wedge salad! One of the best wedge salads I ever had, and the size was large enough to also be shared (but I didn't lol). Our dinner was a great experience and would definitely return.

The experience here was top notch thanks to our server Reighnah (might be spelling wrong, sorry!)She truly made my birthday dinner a fantastic experience, going above and beyond my dining expectations! The food itself was great! The game platter is a must. I do not like pickles- I've tried them all and hated them all but the house pickles here are FANTASTIC! 30+ years of hating pickles and I found the ones I actually enjoy! The filet mignon was PERFECT. Buttery, cooked to perfection and my favorite bite of the night. The seared tuna was good. The tomahawk was a fun experience. We weren't a fan of the mashed potatoes it came with due to horseradish so we were just going to skip over them and our server immediately had regular mashed potatoes brought out. Something so small like that meant so much! The ambiance was good though dark, they have table lights available if you need them for the menu. This was a special dinner and I appreciate the experience.

I just want to say this restaurant is amazing. Chesapeake always disappoints me but they did right I'm mad at myself for taking this long to try it. The pictures don't do this place any justice. But the inside is nice and cozy. Service was amazing! Everyone was so friendly and nice. And the food was good! I came with a few ppl so we were able to try a few things off each others plate. I can't wait to come back. Definitely a vibe after work. I also tried the crab dip and that was good! As well as the drinks!

Nice restaurant, friendly staff and management who check in on you to chat and see to it that you enjoyed your dinner. We didn't have reservations but there was ample seating at the bar and several high top tables. Ambiance is relaxed and cozy, not as classy or upscale feel as the restaurant a few steps across. They serve specials which my friends and I ordered. We ordered the perfectly seared and seasoned rock fish on bed of couscous and corn hash. Will definitely come back.
