Cogan's Pizza

I love Cogan's so I was excited to see a location at Waterside. It took 30 minutes to get my pizza, they ran out of pepperonis, and the crust was underdone. I highly recommend going to one of the other regular locations, but your better off getting something else at waterside.

Love the pizza. I often UberEats this place and the service is always quick. There is nothing better than some Cogan's on a sports weekend. Additionally they have a good location in a nice area. I mostly order delivery but I would certainly dine in if I had the time.

After completing a workout at the Promenade, I came inside of Waterside District to take advantage of my $10 off wristband. Walked around and saw many of the places had no one behind the counter & I almost thought it was closed. After waiting by the register for about 10-15 minutes, another employee finally found someone to take the orders. The employee was quick and got our ordered started immediately. The crust was good but the pizza, not so much. Some of the shredded cheese didn't completely melt and the chicken seemed over cooked. Onions were scarce. Couldn't finish it & definitely didn't want the leftover version of it.

3.5 but rounded up to 4 because I am craving pizza right now. Cogan's pizza located inside the market in the waterside district is small but effective. Pizza quality was delicious. Prices were fair considering the area we were in. We came to visit town pointe for the harbor fest but came inside the market for food. The wait for the pizza was longer than expected considering we were one of few orders. Staff wasn't the most alert and attentive but also not awful or rude. Gave it a pass because the market is louder than average and a lot of distraction. We liked playing the arcade games while we waited. Would definitely eat here again if in the market.

Shoot. I forgot how great Cogan's Pizza was! I mean is!First time I tried it was a long while ago at the original spot and I remember being impressed by it then, but just never got around to going back because I only frequented Norfolk back in the ODU and "partying-on-Granby" days. Anyway, so we took a quick trip to Waterside recently, and we wanted a snack in between an early lunch we had, and a late dinner. Cogan's was the answer!Quick bullets -- They only sell whole pies here. - Prices for whole pies are still affordable, about $12-15ish for the regular size and it can probably feed 2 people. One if super hungry. - There are 9 pizzas to choose from - BBQ Chicken, Bacon Cheeseburger, Buffalo Chicken, Pirate's Booty (supreme type of pizza,) Meatzilla, Italiana, Margherita, New Yorker, and Hawaiian. - They also sell "Pizza Roll" snacks, and Paninis!I love the crust, the sauce, the whole pizza is just great. Service is good, and so are prices, especially for Waterside. I do recommend! Try the Meatzilla!!

We placed our order at 545pm...the cashier said it'd be ready in 10 minutes. There was no one else in line! Our order was ready at 614pm but an ingredient had been left off so the cook was going to fix it. 10 minutes beyond that I asked for a refund. The manager promptly came out, asked what was wrong and refunded my money. Then I noticed others that had later placed their order were growing upset and getting back in line perhaps to ask for a refund also.

I normally don't give Big box spot higher then 3,BUT this spot was really good! This was my first time in waterside since it was redone and I was deciding what to get and then I saw pizza!!! So you already knew what time it was! So at first,like with every spot, we try we look at the reviews ;and the pictures didn't match the service BUT I took a chance!I got to the ordering station I didn't see anyone so I was like dang- as I turned away a guy came up and asked to help me! So I order the meatzilla - which consist of pepperoni sausage bacon beef and extra cheese! That's my go to! So, that was a score -The guy making my pizza was super nice and made small talk (and I hate small talk) but he told me about the shop and just made me feel like he wanted to make a dish for me-So how did it taste? It was actually really good the topping to cheese to sauce ratio was good! And the crust has a nice pull to it; sauce was not sweet and not spicy although you can get spicy sauce if you like..good pizza great service = plus a revisit

This is a small place stuck inside Water side. It is one of the best pizzas I've ever had. Seriously I don't know what they're doing to the crusr, but it's a straight Outta New York City. Great personal attention and pizzas are the right size. Got to figure out how to get this more in the future. The ingredients were fresh and cut in front of us. Personal touch really made the difference. Hand tossed pizza and Highly recommend.

This place hit the spot so hard last night! Some of the best pizza I had in a minute!
