COASTAL CREAMERY

Visited here on our Nags Head trip and did not have a great experience. The ice cream was good but this was overshadowed by the attitudes of staff. We felt as if we were an inconvenience to be there ordering.We thought this was a one off experience for us, but my mother and father visited and had a very similar experience with rude staff.If you're looking for ice cream in Nags head, I would recommend visiting somewhere with friendlier staff!

Ice cream flavors were not that good. Ice creams were creamy and quite stable (not melting quickly) but the flavors were not balanced or combined well. Too sour or too sweet or just weird.They also asked for a $1 fee for using a credit card?! Whacky since most credit card fees are 3% on transactional, and I understand businesses are shifting to putting that cost on clients, but $1 on an ice cream is well over 3%... super weird model. So many better creameries in the area. This one is not worth it.

Good Stuff! We've gone here twice this week and we're going back again tonight! I'll get pics next time.

This place was a great find. After dinner at Miller's next door we walked on over. It looked busy but the line moved quickly. The waffle bowls were made there which you could tell they were fresh. Ice cream was great quality with lots of flavor & topping options. Very reasonably priced. Great local spot, go see them!

The owners clearly don't know how to handle constructive criticism, just take a peek at their responses to the public. If you think Turkey Hill is high quality, you'll love it here. If you're an afficiando who knows the difference between premium, super premium, and ultra premium ice cream, you'll be disappointed.

I love ice cream so it's hard to give any ice cream shop a mediocre review. But, the ice cream was just okay. The waffle cones were not homemade, even though there were three waffle makers on the counter. I don't know why. Service was good.

This is my families go to ice cream spot when we're in Nags Head. It's a friendly place with decent ice cream. A great place to take kids to before or after mini golf next door.

ice cream was ok but service was poor. server was focused more on the TV than the customer. After receiving our order the server refused to accept payment and asked me to wait as another group of 5 came in after me which she proceeded to serve rather than complete my transaction making me wait . i will not accept this level of disrespect to the customer. you need to complete your transaction before moving onto the next customer. This experience will never happen again. Heading elsewhere in the future.
