This exchange is top-notch! I met the assistant manager while I was shopping. He was walking about talking to customers, employees, and checking on things. Old time customer service! His employees were smiling at him when he was talking to them, and after his attention, he went to another employee or customer. You could tell they respect his leadership. He was over near the adult beverage area helping out customers when I saw him as I checked out.The store is super clean, well stocked, and very pleasant to shop in. The employees are helpful and happy. Very nice! The customer service was wonderful in every section. The environment was so comfortable I purchased way too much stuff because I liked being there. The clothing, shoes, food, beverages, household items, and furniture selections have come a long way since my last visit. The Coasties have significantly improved what they have to offer. It is great competition for the Navy Exchanges in this area. The Coast Guard Exchange has started a customer appreciation program, too! Way to Go!

Shopping here is my most recent obsession. The alcohol is way cheaper than ABC, and the selection is better than the NEX. The associates are also very friendly and are willing to help. This place always has some very good deals going on it seems like all the time. It's also located in Chesapeake which is better in my opinion than the norfolk area. It just gives you another option because norfolk is always so dang crowded. I've come here on any given day of the week and its never too busy. Best kept secret location out here... for now lol.

This place gets the job done! Located in a little nook/plaza near Ashley's Furniture. This location sells guns, alcohol, limited electronics, shoes, and clothing. This has been a go to spot for recent purchases in the electronics section (fitbit and the ring doorbell, both well priced). The place can definitely use an update and expansion, but as mentioned before for a quick pick up of alcohol or snacks it is a good place to stop by especially if you live out in Chesapeake and don't want to drive out to the Norfolk exchange. Reminder this is a Coast Guard Exchange and is tailored as so.

I did a review on this store before but don't know what happen to it so, I will go ahead and put another review in.Well nothing hasn't changed from the last time I reviewed this store couple of years ago. Again it's more liquor aisle then most of the aisles. Clothes and shoes are outdated. But you will find some trendy things like Northface for a decent price. I don't think they even sell undergarments? Hmmm? They now sell guns which is different then my last review. Hubby been eyeing on a gun and is actually sold here for a lot cheaper. The jewelry in the jewelry counter looks old and cheap too. So why do I come here, you ask? Well....for things like cookies and snacks or candles and to see if by some miracle they have added better stuff.

This is a new Exchange that opened in Greenbrier, not just for USCG but for all branches of military. My Coastie boyfriend and I don't take advantage of it as often as we should since it's a bit of a drive for us. Whenever we go in, we realize we should check it out more often. They have a lot of surf/skate clothing at great prices. Much nicer stuff than you would see at TJ Maxx or Marshalls. New, current-season items, like Hurley Phantom board shorts and flannels and jeans by Volcom and Quicksilver. For girls, I like that they sell Roxy athletic clothes (yoga pants and sports bras). You pretty much can't find that anywhere else in the area. They have your typical exchange stuff as well, like cosmetics, electronics and alcohol. The staff is always very nice and helpful.

Great exchange located in a convenient area. It is not the biggest but beats a drive to Little Creek, Norfolk, or Oceana. It has an excellent assortment of adult beverages although the prices are actually higher when compared to the package store on Little Creek. Much like the MCX they offer a pretty good selection of firearms.

Great to have a military exchange that isn't in Norfolk for those of us that live in Chesapeake. Yes it is smaller than the NEXs but it has all the basic needs for military members and retirees. It does have 4 aisles of alcohol but it does not overwhelm the store with its presence. It's nice to be able to get some liquor without having to go to the ABC store. It has plenty to offer at great prices.

Well, I guess the Coasties need to have their own exchange like all the other branches do! (Disclaimer, I am retired USN). I am used to the much bigger Navy Exchange in Norfolk or Virginia Beach, but I'll say this Coast Guard Exchange has those great prices at a location on the north shore. I was sitting at about 2.5 stars overall, but then I entered the wine section and walk-in Beer Cooler. Purchased a 6-pack and felt compelled to bump the review on up to 3. :-)

Pretty good, wondered why they didn't have Diet Pepsi but ll the brands of beer, wines and spirits imaginable. Lots of higher end products and brands. (Military ID needed)
