Be Warned!Terrible experience ! When you check in at the desk they get all your information credit card and then the terror begins . When you have completed what you think is a normal check in they tell you that you must go to the concierge desk to pick up your key. This isn't an option. They hold your keys hostage until you check in- give them all your information that you already gave the front desk. If you don't then no keys.. Not sure if y'all have ever been through a time pitch. But in order to get your key to a unit you already paid for they make you yes make you talk to a time share person .I would rather be dipped in a vat of acid . I was terrified to say the wrong thing .. afraid they would pounce !Finally 25 minutes later I walked out a free manGot to the unit ! Just gonna be plain and say it the way I feel it A Motel 6 would have been better! Furniture and decor was dated and worn out in really bad shape.Freezer was broken. So after a long how day there was no ice for a cold beverage!! And of course the frozen breakfast food we bought for the next morning well uou get it .TheyIt doesn't have a kitchen it's a kitchenette at bestTried to microwave something it sounded like a diesel engine.I think the walls are made from paper,I could hear the people next to us and they weren't even being loud When they way washer and dryer they mean a shared laundry room in the building Allow me to point out the Positives.STAFF MAKES THIS PLACE..Great Fire pit- If it wasn't for them I would have 1 starred the experience.

Stayed here in August for a couple of nights when visiting Williamsburg for a long weekend. I was a little hesitant due to the poor reviews but trusted my gut after looking through 100s more. It seems that since 2020 most hotels seem to have lost their positive reviews and many share similar sentiments about worn down conditions and poor cleanliness on this area. That said, we arrived at 1am and had security help get us to our room. Had to call ahead for that being we were arriving after hours. Appreciated the flexibility. Honestly, my heart was singing even being delirious from no sleep and hours upon hours of driving once we entered our room. It was exactly what I was hoping for and more. No I'm not talking about 5 star Las Vegas Wynn but I was so nervous that this just seemed way better. Now take the four-star with a grain of salt. These are all hotels or motels in the middle of a town that caters to tourists. Most use the rooms as a place to sleep and come back after a long day out exploring. These places aren't meant to deliver an on-site vacation experience. We had a double with a bed on one end and pull out couch next door. Appreciated that we could close the door in between to keep the bedroom separate and quiet. Dining area and kitchen were great. It really had all the amenities and a huge fridge and most importantly 2 bathroom areas. It was clean! We also had a perfect size balcony with 2 chairs and were able to enjoy a night cap and morning coffee each day on the balcony. The property was appealing and luscious foliage. We visited the pool but our days were so booked up we weren't able to enjoy the other amenities. A great touch having daily activities for children or adults such as games or happy hours or s'more's. Would definitely recommend if not looking for a typical hotel. We had packed some basic staples prior so I able to make breakfast there and eat the rest of our meals outside of the property. They did have a grills on site if needed. Also super ideal location right smack in the middle of everything. Would ignore the negative reviews and check it out if I'm the area. We had a pleasant experience and the pool was perfect!

A very welcoming and friendly staff. Many convenient amenities within the room, (we stayed in a one bedroom suite). Our room had plenty of space for our little family of four, and the communal amenities kept our little ones well entertained! We loved the pool and hot tub, and we were able to see the Yorktown fireworks on the 4th of July right from the pool! Patriots' Place is convenient located less than 10 mins of all of the Williamsburg attractions, only 3 hours to Mount Vernon and 40mins from the Langley-Eustis Army & AirForce base. We stayed for a week and had a blast!

Wonderful stay at this location. Grounds are beautiful, we had a studio suite which was a great price for Fri-Sun.(under $300) I expected it to be very small but it was actually very spacious and had a fully equipped kitchenette with a microwave and fridge. Walmart is literally 10min away. Everything was clean and neat. This is bldg 2- suite 201A. At check in (4pm) there were about 4ppl standing around and it took awhile for someone to acknowledge me, but once they did it only took 5min, I was never offered timeshare info, which I'm ok with but I saw alot of pass reviews mentioned they push you to do it, but I was ready to decline if asked. Parking was the biggest issue when coming back in late. We saw family at another Wyndham location nearby and when we got back in after 11pm there was no empty park near our unit so we parked near other units where we could find open space. Pool and fireplace were nice, only a small playground for kids, No activities. All in all I would Recommend this location.

Although the owner was quick to call after my initial post and offer a refund/accommodations based off my terrible experience, no such promise ever came to fruition. They stopped contacting me within a week and several months later no further action has been taken.

You may think that checking in at Club Wyndham Patriots' Place Williamsburg will be peaceful and uneventful, but beware. This was the absolute worst experience I have ever had. After arriving at 8 PM for check-in, I was completely harassed at the second desk by the sales presentation provider (Alex). The provider would not give me my room key wristbands until I presented him with a credit card and committed to a meeting. After repeatedly telling the provider that my two-month-old baby was in the car and that I was uninterested in attending a meeting, he continued to speak to me aggressively. He accused me of giving a credit card to the first desk and not to him. He also told me I was lying about not being at the resort for an 8:45 AM meeting (my family and I left at 8 AM). I was very disappointed and left in tears. I felt trapped and simply wanted to go to our room to feed my infant. I could not believe I was not presented with my room key wristbands at the first desk, especially after I paid in full. Alex spoke to me aggressively and he would not give me my room key wristbands even after I told him at least ten times that I needed to get back to my infant. Further, a woman with blonde hair (I am assuming Alex's boss or colleague) was side eyeing me as if she did not care the distress I was in. These people clearly did not understand that my baby needed my attention. This felt inhumane and I could not believe another woman did not speak up to help me. As a mother in postpartum, I felt defeated and trapped at the second desk.I would NEVER stay at this resort again. I would NEVER trap a new mother. I would NEVER deny a person their room key wristbands after they paid hundreds of dollars in FULL at the first desk. Club Wyndham Patriot's Place should reconsider whom they hire to give a sales pitch and they should be presenting visitors with their keys at the first desk once they have paid in full.

We are timeshare owners and this is one of the worst places we have stayed. We were traveling with our kids and our youngest was 3. We were assigned a room beside a group of young people throwing a party of some sort. It smelt of marijuana and they had the music blasting up all night. The kids couldn't sleep and we called security and that didn't help. We called again after they totally ignored the security of telling them to stop but they still didn't listen. I wish that as owners they would evaluate the people that are assigned close to us not this ghetto mess with it smelling like drugs and profanity blasting throughout the night!!!

Felt like I was being held hostage trying to get room keys and being forced to attend a timeshare presentation without them saying that's what it was. I don't trust anyone associated with Wyndham properties and definitely didn't have a welcoming experience. Never again will I book anything with them anywhere. Be warned, avoid them at all costs.

CAUTION!! The General Managers name is CHRIS ALPER. Here's the short story. Room #1:We checked in on vacation very excited to see the Williamsburg area. We found this place online and the reviews were pretty good. My wife (at the time) was 26 weeks pregnant. The first room we were given wreaked of marijuana, and the carpets were wet. I went to the lobby and explained the situation to Yadira and James who were working in the front. Yadira was pleasant about the problem and quickly apologized and offered another room. Room #2:We were then sent to the building next to the first we were in. The room was damp and had a mold/mildew smell. Having a pregnant wife I quickly returned to the lobby and spoke with Yadira again, I told her the room smelled wet. Yadira then had me speak to the "Rooms Manager", I believe his name was Chris (not the GM). The rooms manager apologized, and had someone named Javier check on the discrepancies that I complained about. He explained that they were doing some remodeling and believes that the maintenance crew may have left the windows open during the rain. The rooms manager then said he would have Javier check on the "new building", which was supposedly recently remodeled. While I was waiting to give it a 3rd try, a woman in the lobby asked me to come talk to her. The woman told me that she was trying to check out because all of the rooms smelled like cat urine. I told the rooms manager what she just advised me of, and he said that they must have had one of the rooms that needed work. Started having a terrible feeling now lol. Room #3We were then given the key card for the 3rd room. This room smelled just like the mold / mildew smell of the first two rooms. **3 strikes you're out...I then went to the lobby this time just to check out and ensure my card won't be charged, while my wife tried to last minute find us a room. I then told Yadira that we were disappointed and just wanted to leave while it was early enough to find a room. That's when CHRIS ALPER entered the problem. Chris introduced himself as the General Manager, and asked what was wrong... I explained everything typed above, and he put his hand in my face and shouted "I'm stopping you right there- we do not have mold, I have a clean air certificate that I can show you", and I said "sure, I'll take a look at it". Chris then smacked the counter top and told me if I want to see it I would have to have it subpoenaed in court... (wish I was exaggerating that-- I mean, really, who says that????) I told him I just want my money back and I was leaving. Chris then yelled that I was to not be helped and he walked away... at this point nobody in the lobby would help me. I told Yadira that I was sorry for putting her in that spot with her manager , But I need a receipt or something showing I would not be charged. Chris finally came out with a print off of an email where he messaged someone telling them to not charge my card. I asked if Chris had a manager and he said he was the top person, and he didn't have bosses. Days later we were so upset by this still, I decided to reach out to corporate... turns out this is "Club Wyndham" which is not affiliated with the actual Wyndham hotels... I found out that Chris went and placed us on a "Disruptive traveler list" and now my wife and I cannot book hotel rooms with Wyndham until it's over turned?? Complete craziness. All of the stress being stranded 10 hours from home not knowing where we were gonna stay gave my pregnant wife cramps and actually led to some bleeding. The scare is over thank goodness her DR. Said it was from the stress of the situation and baby is ok, was much safer than sleeping in mold.
