Club Allure 30/30

This is a pretty cool venue! Babe and I visited twice before I decided to write my review!So this latest visit was on a Friday night about 6pm. It was super chill around this time and this was probably because they just opened their doors for happy hour and the live band. We were able to get a booth seat right near the stage where the local band (Ramonta and friends) were performing. Oh how I could forget...the entry fee... FREE!!!! Let's see...not too crowded, FREE entry, FREE buffet, happy hour drink specials...oh yeah, I am loving this so far.I am not sure how long this club/lounge has been in existence, but I was completely unaware of its existence prior to coming. I can remember driving by some years ago and noticed this was a restaurant once before. But now, they have made great use of the space.So you walk up to the door...security is waiting to check ID and your purse ladies. Not sure if it ever gets slammed, but the two times I have visited there has been no wait in line. So I visited once before on a Wednesday night about 10 pm and again a few Fridays ago just as the club opened. Nevertheless, we walked in and straight ahead is the bar and kitchen area. There is seating located on the right and left side of the club. The right side, I would consider your low key area, so if you want to check out things sit here. But over here, you can't see the dance floor area. Therefore, you may need to get up and roam to check out the whole scene.The left side, where the stage is located, you have about 10 booth seats. These booths also surround the dance floor that's a pretty decent size. You can also view the parking lot from this area...window seating if you will. The DJ booth is located over here too.You can also catch the game on one of their many TVs in the spot.Now if this spot fills quickly it will be standing room only and that could be an issue because it's not super spacey, but just enough space to chill, eat, and dance.Capacity maybe about 150 comfortably.Oh the food...it was tasty. Before I found out they offered a happy hour buffet, we had already ordered food. But it was crazy because about 5 items I ordered previously were unavailable...huh??? What do you mean, you don't have ANYTHING I am ordering...sheeeeesh!!! But they had plenty of fried chicken though - aye yi yi!!!Oh well, we ordered fried drumettes and fried shrimp.So yeah I mentioned how not busy they were and how they JUST OPENED the doors on that Friday evening...so the kitchen clearly wasn't ready to serve. It took 45 mins to get a order of two wing baskets and a basket of shrimp...fries sold separately.Whew... despite the severe wait time, I look forward to returning. I can't knock a club for not having food ready. Now if it was restaurant and nothing more, oh we would have left E-ME-JET-LEE!!!!I am not a club hopper at this age, but back in the day.......owwww, this would have been my lay low spot!!! Not too turnt* not too live, but just enough vibe and drink and get your two step on and leave feeling niiiiice!So yeah, a nice, chill spot with live music and a poppin DJ, I'm with it every now and then. As a result, this place foots the bill - SOLID.Not sure of the age requirements, but I'm guessing 25 and up...but mature crowd indeed - those I partied with on both nights were A OK!!!Private parking lot - Drinks Good - Waitstaff Friendly - I'd recommend you visit here if you enjoy urban music, hip hop, RnB - similar genres.Have fun :)

The music is toooo loud. Like I can only take for so long loud. On the other hand it is a chill spot. They have decent drinks and good food. Crowd is decent. Everyone has always been pleasant and you can just hang out without drama.

Went there for s friends bday party. Music and crowd was nice. Good size dance floor with fans and A/c. The one star is for the drinks!!! We all drink our favorite libations and know what they taste like WITHOUT QUESTION. Let me just say, they do not sell what the bottle says is in there. The bar must refill their bottles with cheap liquor. Ironic because as I was standing at the bar with my husband I caught a man with 3 empties in a box walk to the back with them. Sure he returned with the refilled. Questionable business ethics and this damn headache this morning..I hope the owners read this as well as others are thinking about going. Bad Business practices!

Well this would have been fun for my wife and I. We went there on a Friday night and apparently it was "white night" now we didn't know and we weren't dressed in white. They told us we can't go in because we weren't white... so a black club told us we weren't white enough for their club haha. Then we found out it's $20 a person to get in. Now this is why I give it only one star. It was not $20 a person that night. This old door guy told us that because he didn't want us in. Shit place anyway.

I went on a thursday night with my BF and we had a great time. GREATTTT drinks, loved the music wasn't too busy. I didnt get any food but the wings smelled amazing !!! food price seemed a little high but I am planning on coming back wednesday for karoke night. this is my new spot!! just moved to this side and finally found a place when i feel comfortable... i cant believe the girl rated a 1 because of a cherry! next time bring cherries yourself ! if your fussing about a cherry i feel bad for the bartender who had to service you. but please go and support !!!!

Customer service is lacking the bartender was rude which made my experience disappointing. I went during happy hour and purchased some drinks and food when I asked for a cherry in my drinks she told me NO! With a horrible attitude. She said cherries are not given during happy hour with a bowl full of cherries next to her. I spent over $50 including food and drinks and couldn't get a cherry as a paying customer that was the most absurd thing I ever heard. The security was pleasant, and so was the waitress. However, they need to change their policy or change their bartender.

Went there for the first time last night for the 10 dollar dozen crabs. Atmosphere was great, music was on point and the inside was very nice. The reason why I gave it a 1 star is because the waitress took my order, and I asked her if I could get the steamed shrimp as the 10 for $5 dollar special. She said no I had to get them fried. My waitress was the bomb, so that wasn't the issue. Anyways, when my friend joined us and ordered another waitress advised her that she could get the steamed shrimp. I told her at that time that I was told no, well she asked the guy with the long dreads and he confirmed that I could have gotten the steamed. My waitress d said to them that she didn't know. I was told by my friends waitress that my waitress was new. That is understandable and is a mistake. But that is still not the issue. The issue is that when the dread guy was informed, he told the girl to get me the steamed. I then gave my fried back and waited on my steamed. Are y'all ready for this? My waitress came back and said here is your steamed. I paid for them myself. I was like what? I was shocked because why did she have to pay for them? Why not customer satisfaction? I was mad because not only didn't the dread guy accommodate a customer, he made his employee pay for it and they got my other shrimp. So dude made 10 dollars off me and the girl. That really turned me off. That is why I shy away from my African american businesses because we are so greedy and mean. That was my first and last time in that business. I have been in customer service for 35 years and I have never seen that before. As soon as my Company starts their hiring process, I will be back to get your waitresses.

Ok place to go if you're looking for a good drink, old school music, good fried chicken and a relaxed dress code.

UPDATE: my brother informed me he was contacted by an attorney and they want to proceed with a civil rights type of case. We can't thank for person who recorded the incident enough. This ought to be interesting. I didn't think my review would result in anything but I guess it has. To be continued as my brother updates me.My brother was assaulted here last night by members of the staff. He barely got to the entrance before they grabbed him, took everything from his pockets, and said he didn't belong. Luckily, a kind patron who was there provided me video of the whole ordeal; an unfortunate situation to say the least. What a shame. We can be better than this folks.
