Cloud Nine

First time for me, I've driven by this plaza many times and always wanted to go. So happy I did, I was greeted by Ginny with a huge smile and welcome. Surrounding the adorned walls from local artists, there is something for everyone. All priced extremely well from jewelry to greeting cards, pottery to sculptures. Please make sure you stop in to this amazing shop and they've been in business for over 30 years!!

Cloud Nine is an amazing space. The beads are gorgeous and very reasonably priced. The jewelry is beautiful. And GINNY - well, Ginny is the icing on an already delicious cake. Ginny is super friendly, talented, and most of all, KIND. She is patient when teaching and inspires creativity in her students. My sisters and I made sea glass, shell, bead, and drift wood mobiles and they turned out TERRIFIC. We love them and will think of our visit to OBX every time we look at them. Go to Cloud Nine, and if you can, take a class with Ginny. You won't be sorry!!!This place is a GEM and a great local find. I am not sure why Yelp is "recommending" the one negative review (which the reviewer posted twice...), but trust me, that review is wrong. Cloud Nine is a special place and you will be happy if you visit.

Must stop here! We loved all the handmade jewelry. Lots to look at and all of it is unique and interesting. There are beads to purchase for those who want to make their own jewelry. My daughter spent over an hour picking out beads. The owner was fantastic and even taught my daughter a few new jewelry making skills. They do offer jewelry making classes. This place is a gem and we will definitely be back.

The jewelry was beautiful and made locally! I had a wonderful experience. It's nice to find beach souvenirs that are made in the OBX and not mass produced.

Cloud Nine is a must stop! I took jewelry making classes there, very fun. They have lots of beautiful beads, very cool handmade jewelry, local art and hand crafted gifts. It's a friendly and relaxing environment for shopping, classes, or just to hang out a bit and make jewelry at the work table.

Amazing service. They were able to re-bead a broken necklace on a new string and replace the missing beads in same day service. The owner Jenny went out of her way to make sure they got the right beads for me and the necklace looks good as new! I'm not sure if they polished it but it was gleaming. Jenny also gift wrapped the necklace so it's perfect to surprise my sister! 10/10 experience, highly recommend!

We had the most amazing experience at this unique art store! Our son made bracelets for his friends. Great way to support local artists. Best gift store in OBX.

A beautiful selection of art and jewelry making supplies. Very nice and unique beads can be found here. The owners are very nice and informative about the area. I love that they stay open late!

Cloud Nine is an amazing resource for beading and jewelry making, and is also a cute and eclectic gallery. The staff are knowledgable, friendly, and helpful. I always enjoy picking up gifts for family and friends from the different artists they represent, OR making them myself during one of their workshops.
