Civil Libation

WOW... this is going to be a new favorite!!!! Everything on the menu is so nicely laid out. I also love how the drinks on the menu show which glass each cocktail will be in. Steak and eggs were 10/10 - PERFECTLY grilled and delicious. The butter they provided was heavenly... don't get me started on the potatoes. They were cheesy and smothered with epic cheese. If I wasn't limiting my carbs I would've ate everything on my plate in 2 minutes with zero shame. Soooo good!!! I will be back.

So many unique choices on the drink and food menu! Prices are reasonable and they have small plate (tapas) offerings if you just want to have a few drinks and meet friends but don't want a full blown meal! Staff are friendly and knowledgeable!Great spot!

We have had civil libation on our list for some time. Decided to give it a shot on a whim while driving by on a random Tuesday. Surprise! Extended happy hour on Tuesdays, a win! I had a burger and the old sport. We'll check them out again!

Nice Cocktails and appetizers, but disappointing steaks. Not USDA Choice or Prime. Thin, gristly.....not good. Everything else about this place is impressive, they just don't know their beef.

Service - I'm starting with service because it was impeccable. The server was attentive and the food was delivered not long after we ordered it without compromising the food composition. Food - We had the scallops and risotto and the seafood pasta. The scallops were blackened perfectly. The risotto was good but could be cooked just a little longer. However, the flavor was on point. The seafood was extra creamy and filled with large pieces of scallops and shrimp. We ordered the Funk Dafies and both of us loved that drink if you like some smoke and spice. We also ordered the Hole in One but didn't like it as much as the first. More lemon tasting than strong bourbon. I bet they would make great staples like a martini or old fashioned. Ambience- I love the new American vibe, industrial with splashes of colorful artwork. Plenty of room to navigate and a nice bar centered the restaurant for an aesthetically pleasing entrance.

I'm a girl of second chances and was so happy that I was able to visit Civil Libation again. My experience was amazing. The waitress was so sweet. I wish I could remember her name. She totally made up for my previous experience. On this visit I took my daughter , she and I, and were seated in the dining area near a window. We ordered drinks to start. I had the Friends with Benefits and my daughter had the Thats What she said. Both drinks were amazing! Drink menu picture is posted so you can see what's in them! For dinner I had the crab cakes on top of grilled corn served with fresh sautéed spinach and mashed potatoes! The crab cakes were so good. Lots of lump crab. No fillers. My sides were the perfect addition to this dinner. 10+ for the crab cake dinner. My daughter ordered the stuffed chicken. Also, great meal. Large juicy chicken breast, seasoned to perfection stuffed with goat cheese!!! I'm glad I went back to Civil Libation and will be going back to try more items on the menu!

My husband and I stopped by Civil Libation for an early dinner on a Saturday. We were seated right away in a booth, and although there were a few other customers, it was quiet enough for a relaxed conversation. The ambiance was light, airy, and vibrant, perfectly matching the fun decor. It's a great spot to be in!The menu offered some unique options. My husband went with the Tuna Nachos, while I opted for the Civil Burger. The food arrived quickly, plated nicely, and was fresh. My husband enjoyed the Tuna Nachos, but noted there wasn't quite enough tuna for a filling meal, though what was there was flavorful. The Civil Burger was your standard burger and fries--good, fresh, but nothing that stood out as unique.Service was great, and we'll definitely be back with friends and family. It's a great place for any group size or social gathering.

Amazing food and decor. The art flows through out. There is an amazing motif that encompasses framed art and murals. I went simple with the rib eye. It was amazing. The greens almost overshadowed the steak. Not to be missed. Cocktails are on point. Don't miss the old fashioned that features Japanese whiskey.

The food wasn't bad I only got the bread, chicken yakitori, and fries. Not enough garlic and rice to match the portion of chicken. The olive oil and bread was definitely good. Service could've been better if I didn't have to ask for a few things several times. However we did have a large party of 11. I might come back to try other menu items though.

I went in with a friend and our kids on a Friday afternoon for lunch. The restaurant was spacious, clean, with up to date decor. It definitely made for a nice venue. Our service was nice with good energy, always being attentive to us and making sure we were good. The cocktails were sweet but strong! It was a great balance where you didn't taste the alcohol but still got a decent buzz after 2 drinks. Our kids got Mac & Cheese and OMGGGG! There is a reason I forgot to take pics of it. It was sooo good 100/10. I almost ate the whole bowl for my kid. It almost felt like it was drugged because there was no reason for a dish as simple as that to taste that amazing lmao the sauce was super creamy and flavorful with the macaroni cooked well.I got the scallop risotto and it was a 8/10. I loved it a lot! The scallops melted and fell apart in your mouth. I love how it was the perfect amount of seasoning where it was like you can taste the ocean, but it wasn't at all too salty. The risotto had a nice texture as well and was almost well seasoned. I added a few dashes of salt to it and it got it to be the 9.5/10 dish I know it could be. Again, I love how it wasn't overly seasoned and you could taste and appreciate the ingredients in a subtle but not at all bland way. The mushrooms were a nice touch to ensure that the dish doesn't get boring after a few bites along with the scallops. I wasn't too much of a fan for the cinnamon bun bread pudding. It was made well but it just wasn't my cup of tea. The pieces were moist and well coated in cinnamon and sauce. But to me, the cinnamon flavor was both overwhelming and dull after a few bites. Maybe making it into a dessert bowl, cutting up the pieces, and pouring a lighter sauce might be better? That's just my personal opinion. Again, there wasn't really anything wrong with it, it just wasn't for me. Overall, I like this place a lot and I would love to come back and try their brunch menu. I for sure recommend everyone else to try this place out if they haven't already.
