Christmas Mouse Outer Banks Mall

Bottom Line: A huge variety of Christmas ornaments arranged by theme but very few local or unique ornaments.My husband and I enjoyed browsing the two storied Christmas Mouse. There is a ton of inventory and the ornaments are arranged by theme, as shown in some of my pictures. The ornaments are largely the mass produced type that are made in China but I did see a small selection of ornaments which I think are (somewhat) locally made. This store is a great place to shop for ornaments for my "fun" Christmas tree that I string colored lights on and display in my basement rec room. But as far as my"classy" tree with white lights and silver and gold ornaments, I didn't see anything that suited that tree.In addition to ornaments, they have Christmas cards, nutcrackers and other seasonal decor. I left with an avocado ornament that is a great homage to my time in SoCal and perfect for my "fun" tree.The Christmas Mouse is a fun place to browse and to stay cool on a hot summer day.

It's a great place to just browse through. They have so many good choices that you are bound to find something that you didn't know you needed.

Standard beach side Christmas shop. Great assortment of ornaments and towels and cards and toys and more. Prices vary from good bargains to more than expected for different items. Staff is friendly and polite. Most areas of the store have ample enough enough space for wheelchair users, but no access at all to the second floor of the shop.

Cute store for all your Christmas wants. It was a tad pricey but it's in a tourist destination so that's expected.

This is our go to place every time we vacation in OBX. We love spending time browsing the many rooms looking for different ornaments for our tree. I was a little disappointed last year that they didn't have much in the way of "I Love Lucy" who besides my wife, is my favorite redhead. I have never left the store without buying 4 or 5 items. They also have a website that I look on occassionally.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this place! We were visiting Kill Devil Hills for the weekend and collect Christmas ornaments from our travels. We heard this was the place to go and the rumors were true! Two large floors of adorable decor and ornaments!The best part really was the staff though. Marissa helped us and was so friendly and welcoming! She made sure we found exactly in the store and even checked the computer stock for us. Then she beautifully personalized our ornaments while we waited. I can't say enough positive things about her. Definitely stop here!

Cute Christmas store. Two floors and tons of ornaments. I would have liked to have seen a larger selection Christmas decorations other than ornaments. I like the Christmas Store in Mateo a little better. They had more ornaments and decorations that are my style.

Lots of dead insects and overpriced junky Chinese ornaments. At least the insects are not alive, I suppose. No restrooms so don't plan on staying long.

Whats not to love about this place? Every room, every nook and cranny and corner from top to bottom is decked out with ornaments and decor. Something like 58 trees I think the girl said- all decorated with a different theme. I found myself constantly smiling and "oohing and ahhing" and pointing as we walked throughout the place. Such unique ornaments and really something for everyone and every hobby and interest. I just loved it! Ended up with 7 new ornaments for the tree this year. Might make it back to OBX before Christmas 2015 and if so this will definitely be a place I will stop in again.

Wonderful selection. Bought a wizard nutcracker. Staff super friendly and helpful. Two floors of Christmas items. Some Halloween items as well. The nutcracker room is tucked back behind a decorated tree and mirror wall on second floor so be careful or you may miss it.
