Totally by luck, we discovered a great local spot. I felt like we were the only ones there who weren't townies, which gives the place a great beach vibe, not somewhere that panders to tourists. The ordering setup is a bit dodgy, but it works. Friendly kids brought our food out to our table which was right by the water. The food isn't gourmet, but it's simple and done well! The burger had a great peppery flavor, and my kids loved the grilled cheese, which was on thick roll, not plain ol' white bread. The fries come in HUGE portions; even my youngest child, who can make a meal of fries alone, couldn't finish them all. The separate bar was packed with locals, but the bartenders quickly tended to my order. There was also live music, which wasn't great, but added to the "dive bar" vibe. I will point out that while we ordered our food, we spotted what appeared to be three local kids on bikes tearing out of the parking lot with a laptop bag on their backs. I can't say for sure that it was stolen from an unattended car in the parking lot, but they had been milling about just moments prior. Just an awareness thing.

We love coming here every year, and multiple times! The food from the grill is so delicious! We always come at least 2x when we stay.It is perfect for some day drinks and food with the kids. At night it does get pretty crowded as it is a the spot for night drinks and like music too! Kids are welcome throughout the night with their parents.

This review is strictly for the ambiance and not food. I have been here several times and just never considered it a place to get food. So, I have never paid attention to the menu but after reading the reviews I think I am going to have to try out the food. I love the relaxed vibe here. I love the tiki bar, sand between your toes, the casual feel and the views. Definitely a locals bar and tourist bar. This is not the place for everyone but it sure is for me and my friends. They have a stage for live music, cornhole and a kids play area. You will be walking on sand and sitting at picnic tables with a great view. It's all out doors. Super friendly staff and very laid back. It's a regular stop for me when I visit. In fact I looked for where my friends and I signed the bar last year but apparently they paint the bar every year. I guess I have to sign it next time. :)

We always stop here for margaritas (the BEST!) when we're on Chincoteague Island- but after reading the food reviews here, I think we will also be eating here in the future! It's just a fun, local bar with great atmosphere and we love it.

We came on a poorer weather day but it was fast enough service and very good food! Worth coming to check out again for sure, as their outdoor seating area is very nice! Only note was the fries were meh, the sweet potato bites were amazing!

3.5/5 - we stopped by for dinner on a Saturday night. The food: The po'boys were really fresh and well seasoned. The scallops on the po'boy was HUGE, juicy, and delicious. The rockfish was also great. The sweet potato tots were sweet, crispy, and went great with the honey mustard sauce (the original sandwich came with regular fries but we switched to sweet potato for the same price). Aside from the great food, the venue was super weird but only because of the music selection. There was a DJ playing club music really loudly so it was hard to have a conversation. There were NO tiki vibes to be found. I don't think the DJ is always playing at the restaurant but we just happened to be there on a "live music" night. Anyway I would come back here for food and drinks by the water (great view!) but only if the DJ isn't there trying to make this tiki bar feel like a Miami club.

I'm slightly jaded as my son bartends there. I like hanging around after a nice day fishing on the beach. As the weather cools down the pit fires will be going. There has been entertainment most afternoons I stopped in.

Food here is decent... the ambiance is what really elevates this place, great view, sand, a play area for little ones, and bar for crushes means this place is a solid choice for dinner! Our picky little eater wasn't impressed with the menu or grilled cheese, but ate almost all her fries. Speaking of fries... fries were delish!!! Everything was served piping hot. Removed another star as they allow smoking... so if you don't want the cigarette smoke skip this place!!Place your order at the window, grab a table (and maybe a drink) and the server will come find you to drop food off. We got two crushes and while they may not have the usual crushed ice, it was still delicious and refreshing. The Buffalo chicken poboy was three chicken tenders, on a hoagie with lettuce, chopped tomatoes and red onion with banana peppers and a ranch drizzle on top (shoulda looked to make sure that didn't happen). Cauliflower wings with Asian zing were delicious! Bathroom situation is a separate building with lime green doors. Bathroom is decent and has running water.

Great outdoor bar with bonfires right on the bay. Stumbled across this place by accident and it is my go to bar in the summer.
