China Wok sadly served up a disappointing rendition of Chinese cuisine. My California-trained taste buds, accustomed to vibrant flavors and noodle-packed chow mein, were left longing for more.Communication struggles from the get-go set the tone. Ordering "chow mein," a dish I know and love, resulted in a frustrating linguistic game of charades. Apparently, chow mein means vegetables only, noodles be damned. This theme of "lost in translation" continued throughout the ordering process, making me feel like an explorer navigating a culinary uncharted territory.Sticking to "typical" items might indeed be the safest bet here. My adventurous spirit, however, led me down a path of disappointment. The egg rolls, instead of crackling with crispy goodness, delivered a soggy mouthful of chewy wrapper and bland filling. The orange chicken, a carnival of overly greasy breading, drowned in a sugary sauce masked any semblance of chicken flavor. The Singapore rice noodles, cooked to the point of soggy oblivion, lacked the promised punch of curry and offered only a symphony of mush.Only the black pepper beef offered a glimmer of redemption. The tender beef and well-balanced sauce provided a modicum of culinary satisfaction, though it couldn't salvage the wreckage of the other dishes.In hindsight, the warning signs were there. The dirty dining room, the lack of enticing aromas, the outdated plaza, and the language barrier should have clued me in. But I ventured forth, hoping for a hidden gem. Alas, China Wok remains a culinary wasteland, devoid of the vibrancy and flavor that should characterize Chinese cuisine.I am giving China Wok a generous 2 stars for the decent black pepper beef. But unless you're desperate for a bland and confusing dining experience, I recommend steering clear of this take out restaurant. Your taste buds, and your patience, will thank you.

Pretty standard Chinese takeout. Came here because I was in the area and my friends wanted "Chinese" and this was the closest spot. Inside is pretty messy. Floors looked dirty and the tables could use a good wipe down. I wouldn't eat here. For food, I went with one order of beef lo mein, one chicken lo mein and one order of mixed vegetables with chicken. Prices were appropriate for the portions. Got my order, and drove back to my friend's house. Opened them up; both lo mein looked good. My order of mixed veggies with chicken, were actually made with shrimp! Really..? How do you mess that up? And it pisses me off even more, because I spoke to the lady who took my order in Mandarin and specifically had her make sure to add chicken to my order. Never again!

The vegetable rolls were crunchy & delicious, not to mention pretty big. She gave me the perfect amount of sauce, which was a plus :)

I bought food from China wokChina shop and about 9:00 PM they usually are good but the food was horrible the rice was harder than sitting up a long time I ordered it fried chicken and pork fried rice and I got Genoa chicken and fried rice it was horrible it was old and she charge me $19.11 and it was no Good it all it used to be I will find some other places to eat

This place is pretty yummy! I got it delivered pretty fast and it smells amazing!!!! Definitely gonna be my new go to Chinese place

They do one of the better crab rangoon in the area. Service is fast and the portions are nice for the price. It's a good fast food night with options for a healthier way of eating.

The food was good. I'm glad that they know how to cook Tofu!I'd recommend takeout instead of eating inside. The tables are gross and DO NOT go to the restroom. There were no paper towels or toilet paper in the restroom. Also, there was a puddle of pee and poo in the corner.

It was just a little bit too saucy for me. I ordered tofu with broccoli and sauce, along with amarillo soup. (I renamed it because egg drop is such an unfortunate word pairing).The food was ok, but nothing to get excited about. If you are a person who wants a great amount of uninspired food yet decent food, this is for you.

The lady at the front desk isn't very nice to certain types of people, it seems. I won't be returning.

Been eating here for years never really had a problem except some of them depending on who takes your order act like they can't hear when u tell them u don't want a certain thing in your food and they don't clean their chicken properly they left a whole feather on my chicken
