I'm sorry to have to downgrade my review based on recent experience. Last night the delivery came quickly. The problem couldn't have been that it sat waiting for a delivery person.My order was Sweet & Sour Shrimp. The Shrimp, as it should be, was packaged separate from the sauce. So there is no excuse for the fact that the shrimp breading was soggy, probably undercooked. I could hardly finish it and really shouldn't have. I ate a little of the vegetables fried rice, which would have been decent if not for following the shrimp. I didn't even bother to taste the egg roll.My friend ordered Vegetable Lo Mein, which looked & tasted totally different than past orders. The coloring wasn't even right. Today, when faced with lots of China King leftovers for lunch I couldn't bring myself to eat any.Could they have a new cook? Regardless, the manager shouldn't have allowed food of that quality to leave the restaurant via a delivery app that sends follow-ups to customers on every delivery.I will be looking for a new Chinese restaurant for delivery.

Had dinner delivered from here tonight and it was good.Hubby had sweet n sour chicken, pork fried rice, and a spring roll and said it was very tasty. I had Shrimp fried rice and Lumpia and it was pretty good. Rice was a little bland, not much flavor. Lumpia was good.I would order from here again because it was hot, packaged well, and pretty good.

I wanted some Chinese food and this place I had gotten a flyer from so I thought I'd give them a shot.When I got there the lady who took my order was rude. When I got home my coconut shrimp was drenched in sauce which is fine bc that's how I've always had it. The batter used on the shrimp was a lot and in the center was a small piece of shrimp. I actually had a few pieces without the shrimp. The batter was undercooked. I also got the honey chicken and that too seemed like barely any meet and a lot of batter. I ate about 30 minutes ago and I'm starting to feel a bit queasy and my stomach is hurting. I do not recommend this place there are better ones around Virginia Beach

The food was not at all what I expected. I took a few bites and was done. The chow mein didn't even have noodles. It was a gooey mess, same as the egg drop soup. It was so thick, not soup. The plain fried rice tasted like soy sauce and burnt oil. Very disappointed. Never again.

I'm not picky when it comes to Chinese food, but this is the worst I've ever had! The chicken wings were tiny, old, burnt and dry. The king pao chicken was basically genera tsos chicken with raw peanuts. The rice wasn't even Asian rice. It was more like microwave minute rice...just awful. We ordered $85 worth of food and tre only thing that tasted decent enough to eat was the egg drop soup. Highly disappointed, will never return, and will 100% definitely not recommend.

I ordered general tso's chicken. Chicken tasted like it was reheated from yesterday. I asked for spicy...no flavor. I ordered from Grubhub and took over an hour and 15 minutes to get here. Delivery driver basically tossed the food at me and said here ya go. Not very big portions either. I won't order again for the fact that it tasted like yesterday's chicken.

Due to the impending snow, my husband and I decided on China King since they delivered. We had only heard about them because of a flyer left on our door, the deliver and ordering online just seemed too busy. I didn't even bother looking up reviews before I ordered (thank goodness!). We ordered enough for at least a family of four (oops). We ordered hot and sour soup, wonton soup, vegetable fried rice, chicken Szechuan, and pork lo mein. The portions are absolutely huge so if there's an option up get the small, get it! I promise even that will probably be too much!After I ordered, I looked up the reviews on Yelp and got a little disappointed. The previous reviewer mentioned that it took forever for the order to arrive and they had to call. After reading that, I decided to call just to check and since when you order online there isn't an estimated time it will be ready. The lady on the other end of the phone was polite and informed me that our food was already out for delivery. As soon as I hung up, our doorbell rang. Super quick!!The good itself was delicious and exactly what we were wanting. We will definitely be ordering from China King again!

The absolute worst Chinese food I have ever had. The fried rice that came with the General Tso meal was greasy and was essentially just old rice fried in oil - a lot of oil.The chicken fried rice entree was the same rice with boiled chicken added - it was visually unappealing and tasted just as bad. I have never seen fried rice screwed up this s bad before.The beef and broccoli was nothing special - the beef was not cooked hot enough to sear the outside, but the sauce covered that up.

I desperately wanted to give this place a great review considering it's one of the only Chinese food places open during this Coronavirus insanity. The first time I tried their food I was a little disappointed and the second time made me sick to my stomach (literally my stomach is aching right now from this food). The fried rice was just gross, teriyaki chicken inedible and the egg roll seems rotten. I plan to report this place to the cities health inspector because the food is THAT BAD. The only thing that I did find edible was the general tsos chicken. I will never return here again.

Wow! I ordered General Tso's ckicken dinner and shrimp with vegetables. The General Tso's WAS SPOT ON!! DELICIOUS!! Will eat the shrimp with veggies later. Portion was ALL I could eat. Food was hot and delivery was at least 45 minutes AHEAD OF SCHEDULED TIME as notified!I have found MY chinese restaurant!!
