Just want to reaffirm that this is a great place to get delivery or take out...in fact I increased my rating because others are not as consistent on food quality.

We tried this place Monday due to the reviews. What a mistake! My daughter and I got food poisoning. We are still home sick 4 days later. Never again, don't recommend. It tasted awful and we didn't finish anything we ordered.

I was happy with the customer service, food, and the price but rice tasted not cooked well. They only have take out service. They don't have tables at the restaurant. General Tso chicken was very yummy!!:)

Oh it was so good. I had crab Rangoon and curried beef and it was the best Chinese food I've had in VA. I would definitely recommend giving them a try.

horrible the noodles (shrimp lo mein) was sticky, stuck together.. I felt awful after I ate it. Shrimp roll wasn't bad.

I used to live in Hampton and have a go to Chinese takeout place there growing up and looked forward to Tuesdays dinners. But, since moving to Newport News and realizing 5 years have passed, that's what China King has become for me. My new go-to that I look forward to when the household agrees to takeout. I love their General Tso's Chicken, Sweet&Sour Chicken, Steamed Dumplings, and Crab Ragoons. The woman working the cash register is so sweet!

Very disappointed, was not worth the money that I spent. The pork in the rice was whiter than a ghosts bum on Halloween, undercooke. The egg roll was soggy, the chicken was undercooked (internal temperature of 135), dumplings were... we will not talk about those. Only good thing I had was the fortune cookies. The reviews on here lied to me, I will not do business here again. Maybe it was an off night, but should not be at that level. My body is about to expel the demons that have been put into me with this food. Eat at your own risk.

I've been ordering from China King for a long time now, I usually order the combo chicken egg foo young and it has always been good. Except this time when I ordered the egg foo young it was terrible.

China King has the absolute best Mongolian beef in Hampton Roads, hands down. It's my go-to takeout restaurant whenever I drive over to Newport News.

I wasn't sure about eating here at first based on reviews , but I definitely wasn't disappointed! Good classic Chinese takeout food for a decent price. Only one minor complaint, what I ordered was the General Tao's chicken and it was a bit too crunchy. But overall, a good place to stop at for a bite.
