The best orange chicken around. When I first moved back to Franklin, there were three Chinese restaurants in Franklin and none of them were Panda Express... I love orange chicken! However, don't worry though. If you're in Franklin and you are an orange chicken fan as well, China Express has the best orange chicken in the Franklin area. The portion size and the cost are about the same as Panda Express. Heck, I think you get more orange chicken for your money at China Express! Did I mention money? Yes, you must have money in your hand, pocket, or wallet, as this business does not take plastic. It helps to keep the costs down! So run by the ATM, grab a $20.00 bill and head to China Express for some orange chicken and an egg roll!

This is the only Chinese restaurant I will eat at when I'm back home.The service is okay but the inside could use a deep and thorough cleaning.The food is pretty good.

So I've ordered my usual meal two more times from here and I'm happy to report none of the service was a fluke. They are expensive for what I get, but the food tastes better and again for the amount of shrimp I receive and at that size, I can't beat that.

This is my favorite Chinese place to order from in Franklin. I have tried the others and none have ever compared to China Express. No matter which meal I order, it is always perfect. I have been eating here for about 20 years and have never had a complaint with them!

For such a small town I'm surprised it has 3 Chinese restaurants within 2/3 blocks of each other. I was also surprised that the egg rolls were flavorful, pork egg foo young was light, fluffy and not a heavy sauce. I would order this again. The beef with pea pods was a good second choice. But the pork fried rice did seem a bit "old" /dried out when I opened the take out box but it actually had flavor when after that first layer. They owner was friendly and I was pleased overall. I would suggest to the owners to take time to do a heavy clean because when you walk in it seems grungy.

The food is very good and reasonably priced. The interior of the restaurant, however, leaves A LOT to be desired. They need to clean it up and act like they want some eat-in customers.

Ordered vegetable lo mein and chow mei fun house special. Got home to dry lo mein. Absolutely NO sauce at all on it. It was "stick to the roof of your mouth" dry. Friend got chow mein instead of the chow mei fun (Pancit) which he can't eat because of certain ingredients in it. Never had Lo Mein come with rice either. That kind of threw me off a bit. Ended up throwing it all away. I would have called and returned for something edible, but they had already closed. I guess that's what happens when you have your 8 year old taking orders over the phone.

I went to today and was amazed at how skimp my plate was with meat. It was overfilled with onions and peppers, though. I was very disappointed at what I was given. I was already home before I checked my plates which was a big regret or else I would've asked that the situation be rectified.
