Perfect isolated location yet easy to drive passed the fenced entry point. Battle high impact or low impact in the woods, industrial settings, and inflatable competition style courses, though biggest battle could be the Smell. It's BAD, like being trapped in a garbage truck, especially on a hot August Sunday. We went for a friend's birthday party. Unpleasantly surprised by the lack of organization and bait/switch up-sell, not to mention hundreds of people NOT physically distancing or wearing masks while sweating/spitting/cursing. Not throwing shade to diverse paintball subculture, just sharing dets. Genius business plan (aka DON'T BE FOOLED): lots of young people (cheap labor) "running" the place, minimal upkeep/cleaning, party provides inconsistent loaner guns that constantly need attention (jams/CO2), with ammo for 1 lone round (12 kids to shoot 35 times ea) assuming none get dropped on the ground, then ALL subsequent ammo MUST be bought from paintball site. "Party space" was a metal trailer (hot box) in full sun. Young party chaperone was inexperienced but did try his best to please the group. Didn't see an adult employee until the very end. Porta potties are the only restrooms. Plenty of parking. Remember to wear loose fitting long pants and sleeves. Overall, it was a unique experience that several party-goers liked.

Came here for the second time for the "Zombie Thrill Ride" but it's sad to say that I think I'll take a hard pass on this next time. Last year, I came here the night before Halloween so the lines were incredibly long. Came here using a Groupon discount so I didn't mind it much. The large crowd was lively and so were the workers. The ride itself went by pretty fast but half way through the ride, my paintball gun jammed. Came here again this year for the Zombie thrill ride. This time my group and I decided to come here on a night where the lines weren't so long. We also used Groupon again so the price wasn't so bad. However, despite the short line ... the wait seemed to go on FOREVER. I think this was due to only having one "hayride" open. It was also a lot less lively and there was honestly no "thrill" to the ride and the ride itself only took about 10 minutes or so. On the plus side ... my gun did not jam but for the wait and money ... I don't think the zombie thrill ride was worth it.Gotta still check this place out during normal hours :)

The place has changed since my last visit but for the better. The smell though, that could go away. They picked a nice spot for this with a thick woods, inflatable course, and conex boxes for days along with an old bus and plywood houses to add extra confusion.I would set the level of difficulty for the following courses so you know what you're getting into: Urban - Beginner/Intermediate since you can advance at a decent rate and surprise the opposing force. Woods - Intermediate/Experienced since there's a tower out there with low cover on the side. Speedball -... I wouldn't know, Pro more than likely since the folks that go inside that arena of splatter show no fear with the flurry of balls zooming towards them. The staging area is covered with picnic tables and the setup with your rental and such is okay. I imagine that the place may be a bit of a headache when all the pro's show up with their random things they use to store their gear. Some pulled up with what looked like luggage as if they planned on checking in to stay the weekend. The staff line up regular deathmatch style play at first so noobs can enter without being scared off. But about mid-day, the regulars may show up. That's when you shall brandish your armor, or the layers of clothes that you may think will protect you. The secret to this is to wear something loose that way the ball will need more pressure to smack your skin. If you go out wearing some workout gear that's snug, prepare to regret it. The next day you may have a nice reminder of what not to wear when you notice some nice sized welts. But, they only sting a little so don't be worried! Once the deathmatches stop, they break into scenarios such as Capture The Flag and your typical team style matches. At the end of the day, turning your used gear is easy. Just be sure to bring a change of clothes with you and a jug of water to rehydrate. Best of luck to all that partake in the paint extravaganza!

This place was incredible. I got 12 tickets on Groupon for a total of $46! The staff was great, they allowed our group to choose the field they wanted to play in and make their own rules. My husband and his coworkers had an absolute blast here!! We will definitely be coming again! It's completely outdoors, with a pavilion area for parties. I recommend wearing a few layers as the paintballs can be pretty painful when they hit you. Usually people know this when they play paintball. I wouldn't take younger children here to play, but it's a great place for teenagers and adults!

We went here for a birthday party. Granted it was raining and cold...but the kids didn't care. I wish they had some sort of a fire pit for the winter days. It was about 10 kids in the party. All was going well HOWEVER, their masks kept fogging up...so in return instead of telling the children not to shoot if they couldn't see...a child inadvertently just starting shooting all around and my son got hit in the back of his head and neck, which caused a lot of pain. Now this was a party with 9-10 year olds so I understand how it could have happened. With that being said...if they have a party for younger children...I really think they should have full helmets to avoid injuries such as this one. I signed a waiver but I think just knowing the age group...better equipment should have been offered. Not to mention they forgot to get the cake for his friends birthday party but offered candy instead which the kids loved. Overall, it was ok and the kids had fun...but I really wouldn't recommend coming here if it's raining with children. And although they say they play rain or shine...one of the hosts said the reasons some of the kids guns were getting jammed and not working...was due to the rain . If you have children here that are younger than 11...I wouldn't recommend it unless they have full head gear. I won't be back.

Great experience for my sons birthday party, did the basic package for 300 ended up buying 2000 more rounds along with grenades and smoke bombs( I would save your money on the grenades tho). We had our youngest 11, our son 15 and his friends along with adults of all ages who enjoyed their time. The guide/ref was awesome, and we enjoyed all the courses. Watch for the speed round, it will eat up your paintballs. We probably did about 9-10 games, wore out all the kids and got our workout in too. We will def be back!

Paintball on two levels:1) This is serious. Let me spend $100 on paintballs and speed shoot you with my $1,000 gun with my extra thick and special paintball clothing. (Not me.)2) This sounds like fun. I sure hope I don't get hit. Wow, that dude has $1,000 paintball gun. I hope he's on my team. (The rest of us.)This place is in the cut. I didn't drive so I wasn't sure of my surroundings. A GPS will steer you in the right direction. It's off the beaten path in Chesapeake. When you arrive, you'll find what appears to be a trailer park. There, they have everything you need.Facilities:- Check in and sign your waiver on their iPad- Rent your gear, buy extra paintballs, get extra gear (like a jacket) unless you have heavy clothing- Prepare to play in their picnic area. Here, you will load your gun, increase your gun pressure, and strategize a plan that will not be carried out in the field.- There's a speed shoot area with lots of inflatables (my preference if they would just let us shoot each other)- You can play in the woods. Yeah, I don't like getting dirty.- They have an open field with old trailers, dirt mounds, and various blockades (we played this several times)What's cool is that they have different scenarios: teams playing against each other, capture the flag, protect your soldier, etc. After the second scenario I forgot that the place smelled awful. Combine a rainy, humid day with the woods and wearing enough clothes to make you sweat like a pig.Tip: Wear heavy clothing. Although it will be hot, be sure to get covered. Paintballs hitting you do sting (not very hard), but certainly leave a bruise.

I will be honest with you, I have gone back and forth about this place in my mind. But it turned out to be a positive experience...it just took a bit to get to that point. CONS:1-I was very frustrated with whoever returns the phone calls. Beyond frustrated actually. Poor customer service. I purchased the platinum birthday package for my daughter and spent over 450.00 with the initial purchase. I had questions and concerns and I can't tell you how many times I called the business and left a message...I got one call back. One. The second time I spoke to someone was because someone picked up the phone and answered. The person on the other line did not apologize for their lack of communication. They are only open on the weekends right now, so I couldn't even visit the business and talk to someone because no one would be there and, in this case, the party was just a few days away. The concerns I had were allergies, since I purchased the package that provides for the food. (One of the kids in my daughter's party is allergic to chocolate.) My other concern was shelter. It was calling for rain and the temp was 50. I didn't want the kids running around for several hours, in the rain, with no shelter or place to change. (End result, they provided vanilla cupcakes without chocolate icing and they don't have an area for shelter, so I was able to change the day of the party to the following day.)2-Their website says they have a birthday bunker for the birthday kid. They do not. They need to take that off the site until they can provide one. With the lack of communication, I didn't know what to expect for the party. I was so tempted to cancel it, but I couldn't. The business has a time restriction and we wouldn't get a refund. The day of the party, my son got sick, so I sent my husband to the paintball place with everything in hand and what we expected/paid for, just in case something went wrong. I was ready for bear. Lol...The gentleman I dealt with ticked me off so much that much. Heck, I was already writing a scathing review in my head for YELP, but then came the PROS. Literally.PROS:1-They were great with the kids and treated my daughter like a beautiful princess covered in mud and paint! LOL...Jamal was the kids referee and he was AWESOME! His excitement was contagious! 2-They were mindful of the chocolate allergy for one of the children and provided everything they said they would and beyond. (Leaving out the birthday bunker)3-They were all around attentive to the party as a whole and made sure every need was provided for.4-The owner apologized for the lack of communication to my husband. As I already stated, I was home with a sick child, but the owner went the extra step and called me personally to apologize. He didn't need to do that. 5-The courses they have are great. My daughter and her friends like the one in the woods the most. The second favorite was the speed round. It is now a full week since the party and it is still the talk of the class and the parents. A number of the children are going to have their parties there and the dads are talking about just them getting together and having fun. The excitement from the party is still going strong. I am so glad my daughter has this wonderful memory for her birthday. I would give this place 5 stars if the person I had initially dealt with had a better attitude. My suggestion, hire someone part time to return phone calls that is customer friendly. Some people are not customer friendly and there is nothing wrong with that, unless you put them in the position to deal with customers.

Appears this business is closed. Drove by 2/8/25 and everything, everything, has been picked up taken somewhere. Found a news article from 1/1/25 that had the fire department putting a fire out on a set of stairs in one of the maps. Address 3064 Yadkin appears to be dun. Too bad I did think it was great paintball facility, lots of maps. Refs ran good games and kept the pace moving.

Definitely isn't in a super ideal location for a paintball field, but definitely provides a fun time for beginners and experienced players alike. The paint is a little annoying with how brittle it is but other than that I can't really be super picky.
