Chesapeake Concessions

This truck came to my place of employment, so I was excited to give it a try. The crabcake was noted to be award winning so I, like a lot of my fellow co-workers, was excited to try it. I ordered the crabcake sandwich with the Cajun mustard on the side as well as French fries.Upon first impression the crabcake looked overcooked on both sides and thin. I am someone who does not like overly cooked/charred food, so I was a bit worried but still hopeful. The crabcake, however, was flat and had a solid amount of filler so I was not impressed. With it being overly cooked on both sides and thin, I was not able to properly enjoy the crab cake and did a lot of picking to try the inside. The inside had decent flavor but over all the sandwich was not at all to my standards.I did enjoy the fries though, they were crinkle cut, seasoned and were the perfect fry for dipping in ketchup, those were yummy. The Cajun mustard was solid as well. I am not a mustard person, but they said the sauce was popular and I can see why. However, sauce and fries are not enough so I do not know If I would give this truck another try on my own.

We stopped by Chesapeake Concessions during an event. Wow! The crab cake sandwich and corn dog was delicious. The crab cake didn't have any extra filler. Bonus was the made in house choose of condiments for the sandwich was great. I wanted to get another sandwich. The cook was cranking out the orders pretty quickly. Check out this food truck when you're in the area.

Exemplary and Outstanding! Every meal is fantastic! I am a Customer For Life! Great service, reasonable prices, quick service. It just doesn't get any better than this.

Chesapeake Concessions is awesome! My wife and I both had the crab cake sandwich with the homemade mustard sauce and it was one of the best crab cakes I have ever had!!!... No heavy fillers and high quality local crabmeat. Even the fries were cooked perfectly and had a delicious seasoning. The owner/operator Anna was really friendly and eager to chat about all her offerings. She was parked at the new COVA brewery in O.V., which is also great. I hope to see Chesapeake Concessions there or somewhere nearby soon so I can sample more of what they have to offer. Thanks for the good grub Anna!P.S. - Sorry the one other reviewer had an issue with scheduling them to come to their neighborhood twice in a week, which is asking a lot in the first place. But that really isn't a reason to give a company a 1 star review... Especially if you're not even going to mention their food, which is amazing!

They were recently at Mt. Trashmore for the 4th of July. After a very long wait in line, we were told there were only fries left. This was honestly ok. People run out of food, things happen. But as we were waiting for fries, we noticed one woman cooking fries one basket at a time (there were 2 baskets), while the other ladies just kind of stood around. One lady would periodically call out into the crowd asking if anyone wanted a refund, which was reasonable, but it probably would have been more reasonable to have 2 baskets of fries going when you see this huge crowd waiting. My fiance missed most of the fireworks waiting for the fries to finally be finished. And then, they weren't even that good. They seemed like nice enough people, but I probably would never want to go back again.

Unsanitary and spoiled food. Will make you sick

The food might be good but good, but I wouldn't know. The people cooking and serving the food were not wearing masks.
