This is a cool concept and something that the area doesn't have! The openness lends itself to being good for crowds. They have games like bowling, darts, shuffle board and pinball machines. You order at the various bars for drinks (beer and wine on tap!) and for the kitchen. This is a great model for groups. The menu is pretty large with lots of options.I ordered the Mac and cheese bowl with cheddar cheese and brisket. They had two other cheese sauces to pick from. I felt like the cheddar cheese had a strong taste of truffle, which I'm not always fond of. I will try the Gouda sauce option next time. My husband has the Mexican street dog which was soo good! Fries were also good. He had a chef lite beer that he enjoyed. We walked around after looking at the candy, the various options in the glass cases (meats, cheeses, chocolate, baked goods etc.)Glad to see a new concept in the area!

I haven't been over to City Center in a while - and there are a lot of new places! This one popped up on my radar for Restaurant Week - now, I had a lot of beef with Restaurant Week this year because most of the offerings weren't really *deals* as they have been in the past. Basically just a lot of folks offering their regular stuff at basically regular prices. But this place it seemed like you did get at least a bit of a discount with the RW package deal, so I decided to try it out.I came in around 4 p.m. The place was an absolute ghost town. There were a handful of employees and no other customers. Maybe that's just because of what it's got going on? There are games and a full bar and the whole market shop with food AND the restaurant offerings. It's a LOT. So, I can imagine maybe the vibe is different and more late-night in orientation. The prices in the market section were too steep for my pockets - though they do have an impressive selection of items. For my order, I selected the Baked Potato Soup, the Brisket Mac & Cheese and the Brownie Pair. The potato soup was just ... yuck. It had such a weird taste to it, I took one bite and regretted that I ordered it. The Mac & Cheese was a *huge* portion - I was only able to eat like a sixth of it before I was full. It was okay - some of the brisket was a little undercooked for my taste, and the cheese sauce was okay, but nothing to write home about. Basically on par with those new Kraft adult mac & cheese boxes with the sauce packets. The Brownies were *really* good. I'd go back just to get the blondie one again. But that might be all I get -- kind of like I do with the Taste cookies next door.

Amazing atmosphere! Amazing food ! Amazing drinks! The space is large enough that it doesn't feel crowded but has so much to do that you don't get bored. We have been here for the cocktail dinner, which was incredible! you gotta try the drinks from Robert who is a mixologist god, he creates the drinks that perfectly complement the food for the cocktail dinners. if you get a chance you need to try one here. We have also been here for weekend visits and we have never been disappointed. The chef/owner Kenny is literally one of the most down to earth and friendly person that we know. The customer service and staff are wonderful, this place is a keeper !! Keep an eye out if you get the newsletter they always have something going on here .

Pretty cool atmosphere. Wish they would do game nights or trivia nights! Food is kind of mid but might just be the items I've had! I will say the bakery items are rather dry.. I got my toddler the fruity pebble cupcake and it was like it was almost stale texture and the buttercream just crumbled right off the cupcake.. for the price It's not too terrible but was kind of bummed

I really hope this place can make it. Drinks are reasonably priced. Food is decent and the games are a good time. Have been for karaoke on Thursdays and really enjoyed it.

So I was just trying to update my previous review, but wow, this place is even worse after trying the food. $20 for 6 of the worst wings I have ever had. The grilled cheese came out looking burnt, the fries were solid. I won't be going back to this mess of a market any time soon. Great concept, horrible execution.

I have been here twice so far. Once was during the Christmas market when they had German food available. The pretzels, goulash, and bratwurst were all amazing. We went there for restaurant week recently and I got the potato soup, pickle dusted chicken sandwich , and cheesecake. My wife got the corned beef egg rolls, the fig/goat cheese/prosciutto panini, and the cheesecake. We traded bites and that was all amazing as well. I purchased some of their black garlic pork rinds which were awesome. The beer that they brew there, Protect Ya Nectar, was great and I don't generally like IPAs. We didn't play any of the games, but I will say I think the prices are quite high for the bowling. I'll still go there for dinner though!

The concept of Chef's Market is incredible. Fun games, so many drinks on tap, great menu for the food hall, and of course the market area. I had been looking forward for months waiting for this place to open and finally had time to come check it out during restaurant week. We first did the wine tasting which was nice! 4 great options to try that weren't your typical red or whites, we really liked the selection. I also think the pours were the perfect amount. I know so often I'll walk away buzzed because other places will over pour heavily on tastings. The wine tasting overall was great! Next we decided to order off the restaurant week menu. We ordered the deviled eggs of the day, the buffalo chicken egg rolls, the fig, goat cheese and prosciutto grilled cheese, the dusted pickle chicken sandwich, and two cheesecakes with a berry compote for dessert. We received our food pretty quickly which was nice! While we waited for the food we headed across the building to the bar. We got excited when we saw Buskey Cider on tap (we're not big beer drinkers), after ordering the bartender said they were out and pointed to only about 4 beer on tap stating that the snow delayed their suppliers. So instead we had the Resiling. It was a pretty good wine! Now, the food. I started with the deviled eggs of the day which were normal deviled eggs with a blood mary seasoning on top. I'm not a big bloody mary girl at all but they definitely tasted like a bloody mary mix! I tried the buffalo chicken egg rolls next, good but nothing exciting. Next, my fig, goat cheese, and prosciutto grilled cheese which I was so excited to try! Can't go wrong with a fig and goat cheese combination. The sandwich was good overall! A little too much goat cheese, it was pouring out the sides, and that's coming from someone who puts that on everything any chance she gets. However, it was still very tasty and the bread choice for it was perfect. I tried the dusted pickle chicken sandwich next. The crisp on the chicken was perfect, bun was soft, lettuce and tomato were fresh, however there wasn't really any pickle flavor sadly. A little more dusting would've been good! Lastly, we tried the cheesecake. The presentation of these mini cheesecakes weren't the best, it looked like the application of the berry compote was a little difficult but oh my gosh was that little dessert good! Texture of the cheesecake was perfect, flavor of the berry compote was yummy, and of course you have that slight taste of sweet crust at the end. As we ate our dinner we chatted with some other customers at the bar. It wasn't super busy since it was a Thursday night but I can imagine it's more popular on Fridays and Saturdays. Overall, the service was fine. This place seems like the perfect spot for company events, meeting a friend for drinks or trying to find a place where mom and dad can enjoy some nice food and drink with the kids.

Don't order via DoorDash from Chef's Market. Unless you want cold and fatty brisket tacos. Not edible. Disappointing as we have dined at Chef's Market
