Chef Joseph’s Seafood and Grill

Stopped into the food court for after shopping and didn't expect to dine until we saw someone else's order lol. We were able to chat and ask questions about the food before we ordered and when we came back up to the counter the restaurant had just passed their health inspection.I assume the staff who talked with us the owner and he was very personable and helpful. They have great specials so my boyfriend ordered the bay scallops special and I opted for the catfish and fries and added additional shrimp. We were told the food was fresh and he wasn't lying. Everything tasted amazing and was seasoned perfectly and at a perfect temperature. I asked for my catfish to be fried hard and it was executed well, I ate my whole platter. We also enjoyed the bay scallops. 10/10 experience and would definitely dine here again!

I saw this spot at the food court and the smell alone and the gentleman behind the counter with the warmest smile made me stop by.I ordered their shrimp platter and their chicken finger platter and it was so good. Everything is made to order so it was so fresh. The food was very well seasoned. The chicken and shrimp were both crispy and not dry at all. My daughter devoured her entire meal all by herself. The customer service was 10/10. He was so friendly and warm. I loveeee the different sauces they had available at the counter to complement the food. I will 100% stop by here again when I am visiting the mall.

Shopping today and someone had a plate that smelled amazing. So I went out to search for it at the Premium Outlets in Norfolk. Let me tell you, I did not expect for the food to be so good since it was in a food court. The service was great, chef was attentive and thanked us even if we had not placed an order in advance. This is a business I will definitely be coming back to visit. Now the food I ordered the whiting and fries. It didn't even need hot sauce and i just wanted to try it with it on the food. Seasoned to perfection, everything was fresh and made to order. He informed us he had just filet the fish this morning. Highly recommend!!'

We tried the Kick Burger ($6) and the Kick Burger with fries ($13).... $7 additional for just fries! How did the fries cost more than the burger??? The burgers were messy because of the overflowing sticky sauce! They were good just very sticky and messy! The fries were typical crinkle cut bag fries.The gentlemen at the counter was super friendly! Because of him, I'd return. I just won't order the fries.

Must try this place! Had the flounder and it was great! The owner is a super nice guy and sure knows his seafood.

I ate at Chef Joseph's last night and even met him. First, he is a very pleasant and welcoming individual and his catfish was outstanding. Provided I have time before I leave the area, I will get another platter for my road trip home.

The cheesy fries were really good, a great snack. The lady behind the counter was friendly. As for their "real Maryland crab cakes" hahahahaha That's some of the worst false advertising I've ever seen. The only reason they got a fourth star is because the fries were that good

Stopped in from out of town and took a chance. The service was professional and inviting! I ordered the catfish and it was HOT, FRESH and DELICIOUS!!! Awesome job!!!

All foods are fried in the same oil, so if you are allergic to seafood, be careful.Otherwise, it may be good.
