I have had a very busy few months so I have to catch up!! We absolutely LOVE these soccer fields. They have a few leagues that use them. They have a great schedule so all teams get their time in. They take amazing care of them and close when it rains. I believe there are at least 14 fields. They also have a little park and restrooms that are open. They have large goals and smaller for the younger kids

This park is always closed to public during the day and most weekends. There's so much free available space to make some area of into large dog park. This is very underused and underdeveloped city property.

I like the park. It's nice to have a park only for soccer. You don't have to worry about fighting for parking spots & horrible people who think they have territory over the fields while trying to play a game. Don't have to worry about other people's dog poop they don't pick up because it's used only for soccer during the season. There are plenty of other parks you can go to if you want an actual park. But this one is for only soccer.

It seems like a waste of taxpayers money for a park that's rarely open. How the city citizens supposed to use a city park when the gates are always locked!

If you are playing for Chesapeake Parks and Rec, be prepared NOT to have very nice fields. The park is shared with Chesapeake United and is noticeably less maintained. They even go so far as to NOT mow the grass between the fields so that spectators are traipsing through wet high grass as they struggle to reach their field. Not impressed.
