Shout out to Bailey and D at Cava. Went there 15min before closing and was greeted with a smile. I usually don't like to show up for right before closing but needed some nourishment! I did not feel rushed as I was deciding on what to get. Bailey patiently answered all my questions and even let us sample the steak which we ended up getting. My bowl was delicious! Great customer service and food!

horrible service. I did a pickup order and they all started blaming each other as to why it wasn't ready and that my order was nowhere to be found when I was told it was going to be ready at a certain time. I gave them 5 minutes before going in just in case there were any issue and then they completely ignored me for 10 minutes. Two of the girls were arguing about who deleted the order and when I went up to ask what was going on with the order she told me they never received it. After waiting 20 minutes for my pickup order it's safe to say that just coming in and ordering is faster and easier. An employee gave me my pickup order and said "I put everything you asked for in it" Shouldn't they have to begin with considering that's what I ordered?

I can't believe I've neglected to write a review for this location. I love CAVA. It's so good. I brought my friend here the other day to try it out. She was only here for a weekend and wanted to come back again the day after we got a bowl. Safe to say she's a believer. The food tastes fresh. The sauces are on point and the service was pretty great! The employees were pretty friendly. The only thing about this location is that I always have to come back and ask for a pita. The location in VA beach does ask, they just give you the pita slice with your bowl. I got the harissa avocado bowl and it hits every time. Just spicy enough and the flavors are chefs kiss! The drinks are good, too. I like to mix em and I'm never disappointed. This location is solid, thankfully. Because I love it so much!

My friend and I went on a Sunday afternoon. It was pretty crowded and the line was long but to me, that means there must be something very good about the food to cause people to be willing to wait. They were not wrong.My friend and I each got a build-your-own bowl and the food was very good. The ingredients were fresh and flavorful. The portions were good too. Service was fine. There wasn't much time to be overly friendly as the workers were focused on serving everyone as quickly as they could. One thing that stood out to me was how well the team worked together. It was poetry in motion. It was almost as if each person was anticipating what the others were about to do. Such great teamwork and coordination of efforts. I was very impressed.The prices were a little higher than I expected, but isn't everything these days? I'll be back, despite the cost.

Always fresh with a Mediterranean flare - I built a healthy~ish bowl using greens and lentils as a base, lamb meatballs as protein (main reason for the "ish") and full variety of veggies, topped with skhug sauce - A rich, creamy green sauce, with a delightful garlic/cilantro aroma, that packs a little heat - and harissa vinaigrette. Yes, I enjoy a little spice! Wife had a pre-configured spicy chicken and avocado wrap. Both excellent, filling and let us feel good about ourselves for trying to eat healthy!

I've been to a different location in Va Beach and swore I'd never come back - but today I tried the Newport News location and it was a completely different vibe. Kecia took care of me and when I tell you that I'm those 3 minutes of my clumsy decision making she made me feel like I was family. Honestly, I don't think I have experienced better customer service. But I know why- good leadership roles downhill... thank you Shake - because everyone there was professional, friendly and gave top service. Happy New Year NN Cava!!!!

Great choices for "make your own bowl". First time, staff was friendly, good price, our order was to go, but place was clean and no complaints-loved the food!

Decided to door dash an order to work and decided on the Harissa Avocado Bowl which had the harissa honey chicken, the avocado and hot harissa vinaigrette. My order arrived pretty quickly and the flavors were out of this world, it really hit the spot without being too heavy. I loved the fact that I was able to customize the bowl too and add things. There were so many options on the menu that I can't wait to try some others.

Food was good, however the way that they prepared it wasn't my favorite. It seemed as they prepared it a bit effortlessly, as the portions were a bit unproportionate. Also, when she folded my wrap, she folded it so that all the sauce was on one side and the other side was a bit more dry.

Want to cleanse B4 sinning? This is where we Foodies come to get ourselves filled w/o feeling guilty. Hubs got a bowl of lamb balls and ALL the veggies while I got the Spicy Chicken Avocado Pita minus all feta. Both were delicious!
