Carolina Cupcakery

Yummy! Was at Waterside for an event and noticed this cute stand packed with goodies and knew I needed to stop when I was on my way out. They have lots of cupcakes and other treats (cookies and coffee) and today we tried the cupcake bite flight and it was delicious! There were 12 different flavors and each little cake was enough for two bites so my husband and I split them. Each cake was moist and delicious as well as the frosting. Could taste the different flavors in each different cake flavor! I liked them all but really liked the almond, birthday, and chocolate cheesecake! But they were all great and loved that they had this option to try so many of their flavors!

This was part of Dog Scavenger Hunt hosted by Pawsnickety pets. Carolina Cupcakery was decorated so cute for the scavenger hunt having a cute dog house!! They have a great selection of cupcakes it's very hard to decide which ones to order!! I have a soft spot (centrally located on my body) for desserts and I have a weakness for cupcakes!! The lady working was so nice she offered to help me take a picture of my dog for the hunt. I definitely recommend and I have returned a few times!!

I love a good cupcake. But this place here, the cupcakes were not good to me.My friend decided to get cupcakes after we tried the wings from the War of Wings event. After having saucy and salty we wanted something sweet.She ordered the lemon and strawberry cupcakes.We just wanted to try them, but after the first bite we were disappointed! We did not even finish them.10/10 we do not recommend.Try it at your own risk.This place is located inside Waterside so parking may be difficult. To avoid the headache, park in the nearby garage and walk over.Have fun and enjoy life :)

Whenever I am at Waterside I typically pop in and get my favorite not too sweet but just right cupcake "I Do," an almond flavored cake that just cures my sweet tooth. Came out for the war of the Wings event but had to show some love to a few other spots. The worker was very helpful, as I inquired do they also do Birthday cakes and she informed me that they do at their Battlefield Cupcakery location in Chesapeake. Cupcake was a welcome reprieve from my wings buffet and tasted delicious.

Tbh these cupcakes taste basic af. There really isn't anything special about them. I got two and paid $8+ for the smaller ones... they aren't bad but they don't give me $4 vibes either. They should all be the size of their larger cupcakes if they are going to charge so much for one. Didn't get a picture because they were gone so fast. We were hungry

Definitely one of the highlights of the Waterside Districts for those with a sweet tooth! Coffee, cake pops...cupcakes! What's not to like?? Have kids? Don't want them to have a sugar rush...and they're the types to not want to share? Don't you worry! They have mini versions of those, oh so delicious flavors! They have options for gluten free, vegan....and more! Street parking and parking garage are available.

They offer vegan cupcakes which are kept in the fridge behind the counter. Cupcake was dense with a sweet frosting. Slight discount if you pay cash.

I had two cupcakes from here after my lunch today. The peanut butter special was ok. The pecan pie variant was overly frosted. Both cupcakes were sort of dry. Nothing really to the ambiance of the place, there is no seating. I did enjoy the container that the attendant put the cupcakes in.

I was walking through this strip and these cupcakes caught my eye in my peripheral vision and i had had to make a b-line for this counter. I stopped and bought a strawberry cupcake and saved in until I was back in my hotel later. It was the perfect moist snack of deliciousness. I will for sure make a stop there the next time I am in town to try other flavors. The only bad thing I can say is I only had one.

We were underwhelmed by the cupcakes. They weren't moist and cakey- too dry. The gluten free cupcake (Cherry Almond) was edible, but not enjoyable. Too sweet and too dry
