Pretty good Caribbean food. Caribbean Castle bought their food truck to my job and I'm glad that they did. Initially I was hesitant because up until today I had only eaten at one other restaurant that carries Caribbean food. I wanted the beef ribs but they didn't have them however, I thoroughly enjoyed my jerk pork ribs, rice & beans and cabbage. It was delicious! The ribs were cooked well and very juicy and were seasoned well not overpowering with jerk seasoning/sauce. My cabbage were flavorful and tender yet with a slight crunch and the rice & beans were delicious. Most of all for a food truck it was very inexpensive!!!! Great food and great presentation at a great price!!! Win Win Win!!!!

When will this place be up and running again? Somebody let me know!Got off the interstate at Armistead one day in 2013 or 14 and saw this truck parked outside a car shop. Curiosity made me stop. The food was AWESOME and I was looking for it around town when I stopped seeing the truck parked on Armistead. I saw it again at a festival at Buckroe Beach and made a point to stop there. Then I heard they were located at lunch time at the Net Center in Newmarket. Visited them there as well. Saw the truck on the road just the other day, first time in a long time, so I guess they are still in business somewhere...

Good food! Awesome authentic service. Smoker is sitting right outside the truck, so you know your food is tasty and fresh.

Went to Ace Hardware to get some stuff and saw this food truck parked out in the parking lot. There is a small church next to Ace and people started getting out and this place got super busy. I got the Jerk ribs with rice and beans and cabbage. I will definitely be back! Everything is excellent.

Was so excited to see the food truck in my neighborhood. We ordered 4 meals. First they told us all they had sold out which was fine with us. Was told there was one last oxtail dinner and one curry chicken dinner left. We ordered those and 2 jerk chicken meals. One spicy and the other one regular with different sides. While waiting on our order another customer walked up and ordered oxtails and we just shook our heads wondering why they told us there was only one left. The curry and oxtails were okay. As far as the jerk chicken I can honestly say that was the worst jerk chicken that I have ever had. I have had original Jerk from Jamaica as well as all the restaurants in the local area. I was excited to see the grill because I knew they had the chicken on the grill but it definitely did not taste like it was grilled. And it was not spicy as I asked and there wasn't any sauce at all on it. Worst part of all, the chicken was not cooked thoroughly so I threw half of it out. The sides we all agreed were nothing at all to brag about. The macaroni and cheese was dry and the collard greens were okay seasoned with something that had a different taste but I wouldn't recommend them. I will never eat at this food truck again and definitely would not recommend it to anyone I know.

HORRIBLE Caribbean food, HORRIBLE food in general. Peas and rice. Rice was over cooked and clumped together in large hard sectionsCabbage. Over seasoned, extremely salty, and served coldJerk Chicken, served covered in BBQ sauce, tasted just like some chicken you get at a BBQ spotFAR FROM authentic, and no love put into the food AT ALL, will never get my money or taste buds again!
