If you find yourself in Cape Charles please check this shop out. Even if you don't have a sweet tooth you will find something too good not to try. All their chocolates and fudges are fresh, they also have fresh popcorns as well. There was a younger boy who helped us with getting truffles and he was so sweet. It definitely gave me small town, mom and pop vibes. I almost bought new corn hole bags, theirs are well priced and look homemade locally. You can't miss the location as there's a big red pick up outside which is good for taking photos.

A cutie little old-fashioned candy store in Cape Charles. Located on Mason Avenue, this candy store is on the same street as all the other primary shopping you are likely to do in Cape Charles. The store is exactly what I would expect in a candy store in a beach town. You'll comfortably find any name-brand category of chain candies, novelty sodas and novelty candy. Any kid that walks in here will be super happy! It looked like they made their own fudge, but due to the pandemic, they may not have been selling it. They also have a large wall of taffy where you can build a standard bag of various flavors. The inside can be a little cramped if a lot of people are inside, so we waited outside until some people left before we went it. We purchased some taffy to-go. I enjoyed their peppermint taffy! The prices are fair and it's a cute stop if you are strolling the street. If you're in-town with a family, I think it's worth stopping inside to get your kids a treat.

I have been in this candy shop three times now. I love them. They are small, but there is a little bit of everything inside. Staff has always been great! Super helpful and friendly. I always pick up some fudge while I am there. I enjoy it a lot. They were nice enough to ship my friend some in Alaska. The shipping was under $10 too which is amazing!!!! My friend's parents enjoyed the fudge once it arrived. I'm they have dog treats as well.If you are thirsty there is beverages including water inside in a cooler. If you have a sweet tooth, be sure to stop in and grab something to tame that sweet tooth.

We visited this cute little candy and fudge shop while staying in Cape Charles. The owner was very kind and the fudge is the best and creamiest I've ever had. This little store is such a gem.

Ok - I could kick myself for not having photos to publish. I didn't really think about it at the time, just stopped to look before wrapping up our Cape Charles vacation. If you like good fudge - GO HERE! There are a lot of different candies to look at and consider, but the flavors of fudge really impressed me - and I am a bit of a fudge snob. If you are a fan of Candy Kitchens fudge (which I am from years of going to the beach as a kid) - this place will blow you away!It is not soooo sweet that you feel your teeth rotting with each bite or so sugary that it hurts to eat. The flavors really come through and you can taste the quality and it definitely has a handmade/homemade freshness to it.I am both disappointed and glad that we did not discover this place until we were heading out of town. Disappointed because I would have liked to have tried a couple of other flavors. Glad because I would have come home 10 pounds heavier! Definitely a place I will make it a point to go on our next visit to Cape Charles.

If you find yourself in Cape Charles you must pay a visit! I bought the salt water taffy which was yummy and my friend got the raspberry chocolate fudge. She asked me to keep it in my purse and lucky for me she and I both forgot it was in there. This is the best fudge I've ever had. They also have soda, gummies, truffles. Treat yourself!

Yes. Just yes. From the showcase of truffles, to corn hole bags of specialty teams, to rootbeer candies, to pretzels made for the season, to gummies, to the local beach taffy to everything sweet, sour, sugary, gummy, baked, to hot chocolate that added to a perfect cold November night, to fudge to - the smells and the quaintness draws you in. On one hand I was maybe expecting locally made candy but then just appreciate the variety and the feel of being inside a very warmly lit business that gives you an extra motivation to see the next business. This was a very inviting and brightly lit / welcoming shop, and while prices are not bottom based but a little above average, I have seen few candy shops worth visiting that have the personality of cape Charles Candy Company.

Spent way too long in this neat little candy shop reminiscent of the '50s! It has a plethora of candy from your grandparents' era down through our own childhood memories! It's like walking back in time! They sell old-fashioned sodas to fudge, lollipops, licorice, chocolates, taffy, and candy mints in Nintendo game boy tins!! So this place has something for everyone!! The more time I spent in here, the money I spent, so beware!!! It's addicting!!!

We stopped in once and loved the fudge so much we stopped on our way out of town. Macy was the clerk who also happens to be the fudge maker. She is phenomenal and well worth the wait for the store to open! I highly recommend visiting this store when you visit Cape Charles!
