Cape Charles Brewing Company

I love this place and so glad we stopped. We were on way home from Norfolk to NJ and this was a quick stop off of our route. Delicious beer - I got the Assateague IPA and hubs got a double IPA. I got a burger and he got the fish tacos - loved both and you could feed a small village with the fries we got. Mary and Shawn were two of the nicest people you could meet - service was amazing. Can't wait to return. We did end up buying some beer to take home with us.

We stopped in here after our original lunch plan fell through. We didn't expect much as neither of us are beer drinkers. We were pleasantly surprised by several things. We were greeted by an enthusiastic hostess, that we were pretty sure is also an owner, who gave us a brief rundown and recommended the rockfish sandwich ( this was an excellent suggestion). The bartender is also the server and was very nice and very attentive. I got the rockfish sandwich and the wife got the fish and chips which is also rockfish. Both were delicious but a warning to those who are not familiar- rockfish has a distinct flavor. It's not bad but it isn't the neutral flavor of the standard haddock that is often used in these dishes. Good news too for those that are not beer drinkers- they have a local wine by the bottle or glass and they have a cider on tap. The place is pretty open with a lot of seating options from two tops to the bar to larger tables. If you happen to be in the area swing by and try the fish sandwich. It's worth the time.

Came here for an overnight trip with my best friend. After checking out places to grab something to eat, this place looked like a nice option to have a relaxing informal dinner with a drink. They have a pretty straightforward ordering system. After looking over the menu, you pay for your food at the register, and you're given a buzzer that lets you know when your food is ready to pick up at the counter. I got a pineapple sour, which was pretty good, and a crabcake sandwich with beer battered fries. Also delicious, my crab cake was a little overdone, but I still enjoyed it. I'd def come back here to grab a drink and some food again.

Came down to Cape Charles for the day from Va Beach. We love all the beer. Our favorite is the Assateague Island IPA. They sell it in our Package store at Oceana as well. The clam chowder was yummy and would get it again. The employees are very nice and helpful. Def worth a visit.

We stopped here on our way home from Chincoteague. It was a beautiful November Sunday. We were greeted immediately by the nicest lady!!!! I did not drink beer because I don't like beer and I was driving. But they did have 2 wines. They have menus upon entering and you go to the bar and order. I did order some food and so did both my friends. We got 2 clam chowders and my friend got the Rockfish Tacos but on chips because she has an allergy. They were very accommodating with her allergy. You get a little buzzy thing and you get your food when it's ready. Her tacos on chips looked absolutely delicious!! Our soup was very good too. They had other items such as burgers, salads, desserts and a childrens menu. We sat outside and listened to music. They happen to have live music that day. The staff was very friendly!!!

This was my first time to Cape Charles and just my luck to get a visit in to their own brewery.So I stopped in to try their brews and for some lunch. It was mid week and not too busy. Everyone was in good spirits and the staff were friendly and helpful with the beer selections. I decided to go with the flight and my bf went with the coffee stout.The lunch and the beers were delicious. They have lots of gear to go along with the to go beers so Christmas shopping was a definite.I say give them a try!

We had a very enjoyable stop here! The woman at the counter was very nice as we sampled a few beers before making our selection. We also ordered the nachos.We seated ourselves outside and they send a text notification when your food is ready. It didn't take long before the nachos were ready. Wow! They were huge and so good! Three of us shared them and we still had some leftover. The outside seating area has options for sitting in the shade or the sun which is nice. They had a fan blowing outside which kept the air circulating as well.

We discovered this gem while visiting the nearby RV park, and it quickly became our go-to. My wife and I always look for nearby breweries when we vacation, so we were excited to find this one in Cape Charles. I think we went back every night that week. The place isn't huge, and it can get busy, but during the summer, there is lots of outdoor seating. I tried all of the beers, and like them all, but the IPAs seem to be their specialty, and they were quite good. We had several different items off the menu, and really liked the food. The staff were super friendly, and very willing to offer advice to tourists (they told us where to find good fishing, the best sunset, etc...). This place is one of the reasons we have decided to return to Cape Charles every summer from now on.

Stopped by to try a few beers and get a little snack. We do plan to go back today for a full pint of our two faves. Nice, large facility with great service. Outdoor seating near the rail trail was a plus!

The beer choices are amazing and the food is just as delicious. The staff is AWESOME!!!!!!!! Great atmosphere for everyone. Highly recommended My Monday and Tuesday spot
