Camp Allen MCX

Me and my wife are staying near Base and this MCX is right next to us and we pass by it everyday we leave and come from base. We are normally accustomed to NEX (since we're Navy) but the MCX had a lot to offer.Once we arrived parking was good and they also had a gas station as well that had good prices for gas. Once we arrived we were greeted by smiles and the employees there are very positive and helpful.The MCX has everything from snacks, drinks, guns, sporting goods, and clothing. It seemed like they had everything you wanted or needed. It was like a mini Walmart or Target. They even had a small Krispy Kreme area! AWESOME!!!!Once we were done with our shopping the cashiers were super polite and sweet and we even had small conversations. It was a great experience and we always have a good experience every visit! Thank you MCX!!!

If you're affiliated with the military and have your CAC this is a wonderful place to take advantage of the NO TAX!! The employees are very friendly- it's a small Exchange but has all the basics you might need. The biggest draw here is the hun counter. The employees at the Gun counter have a lot of knowledge on all the guns they carry. They have frequent sales as well as a good variety of ammo. Which is hard to get. Their prices really can't be beat if you're looking for a gun or ammo. The selection of alcohol at this little Exchange is also wonderful.

My primary purpose whenever heading the the MCX are usually Gun related. The guys and gals who work that counter are always very accommodating and knowledgeable about the firearms and equipment they offer. The rest of the store is clean and organized. It offers a great alternative for military members and dependents alike if you are showing up to buy a specific item instead of browsing like you would at the NEX. This isn't the place to go if your expecting a Walmart like shopping experience in terms of the buildings scale and the limited inventory one would typically expect from a store of its size.

As far as MCX's go, I don't have much experience with any others, but this one seems ok in my book. It's always clean, stocked, and has what I need when I forget something on my normal store run. Staff has always been friendly, no problems there. Exchange prices on food items are never as good as the commissary, so I can't say this is my go-to, but for convenience's sake it's great. Also, I love that they have 2 RedBox's outside! That's a big plus. 2 thumbs up!

They've recently been remodeling. This is a convenient stop other than running all the way over to the NEX mall. Never had much need for the retail merchandise or clothing side but, the mini Mart side come in quite handy. There is also a small class 9 offering a smaller assortment than a full package store but,the prices are far better then hitting the ABC store.Gun counter and barber avail as well.

This is a very small PX however it has a little bit of everything you would find in a larger PX. Clothes, electronics, liquor, beer, cleaning supplies,...there's even a snack bar where you can buy hotdogs!

You have to be by here to want to shop here. It is clean and friendly. Pluses are that the gun portion is great, lots of guns and help. There is a coffee area with a TV and they have a deal on repeat fill ups. There are lots of snacks, but the price is higher like a gas station. Minuses are that there is very little parking and the prices are a bit higher, maybe not for guns though. It is a convenience store with extras, so you can get some shoes and clothes. If you want deals and selection though, travel the extra 5 minutes and hit the Navy exchange on ADM Taussig road. If you don't have time this place will do.

This store needs to train their staff on better customer service. I don't appreciate the first thing said to me when I check out is "your ID?". Rude staff...
