"What a wonderful boutique! My first experience with the shop was at a pop up they did this past winter and I've been following them on social media ever since! Both their store and their social media offers adorable and unique pieces in a variety of styles that appeal to many shoppers! For the store, I loved how much space they have to display the beautiful clothing and how welcoming and helpful the employees were! I spent some time talking to one of the girls and she went out of her way to make sure I found everything I was looking for! I shop at a lot of boutiques and what I really like about Teal Eagle is that they have a variety of styles at good price points! Dresses for less than $50 that are great quality and fit plus so much more can be found both in store and on their website/social media! They also do a Facebook group for shoppers looking to buy that way! Teal Eagle has really figured out their market and is appealing to buyers in more ways than one! Check them out, you will be sure to find something you love!"

"6/22/20I met the owner of this store that has been around for 34 years. The owner of this store is named Billie, but Jean us not her lover....okay, ever since Billie sang a small portion of that song, it got stuck in my head.I don't know how many times I have been in this store, but come this September, this store will be closing its doors forever. The Coronavirus outbreak really put things in perspective for Billie and will close some time in September. So "Try to remember the kind of September When life was slow and oh, so mellow. Try to remember the kind of SeptemberWhen grass was green and grain so yellow." If you do remember this place after September, it will be in memories...yes all your troubles will be do far away. No shadows hanging over you... Okay, my mind is going in all different directions. Billie has a good store here and a fun crewmembers. It is a shame the store will be closing its doors this year, but Billie does sell cool clothing and other accessories. I enjoyed our talk with Billie. Should we stop by again this week, I am sure we will find something else worthwhile. Ws enjoyed shopping kn your store Billie."

"Cute little shop located in Wee Winks Square along the boardwalk. A majority of what is available inside is of the jewelry variety. Other items are available for purchase as well. Ultimately it is a souvenir shop that has a jewelry department.The thing I loved about this store was the dog. Yes, you read that right. This dog is so well behaved in here that it puts some kids to shame. The dog keeps to itself unless there is a friendly face that enters and the dog is aware. The UPS guy showed up and the dog went right over to him and waited patiently until a treat appeared for the dog. Any other time this dog did not pay any mind to any other patron on here.It is funny that I remember more about the dog than I do about the store."

"A very charming boutique located in Downtown Cape Charles! Love Letters is a more high-end boutique on the Cape Charles main street featuring women's and children's clothing, pet accessories, gifts and more. It is beautifully assembled and you can tell the shop owners care so much about the overall look and feel. We were in town for a wedding and searching desperately for something classy that said Cape Charles on it. Most of the other shops (though nice) only offer the kitschy, touristy t-shirts that my Mom and I just do not wear. A starchy t-shirt with fish in flip flops with a design that says Cape Charles probably have their place, but it doesn't appeal to us. We found the most lovely sherpa pullover that simply said "Cape Charles" in a stylish font at Love Letters. Whew!We also purchased a very cute collar bowtie for our new rescue dog. I loved their selection of more upscale accessories for your furry friend. This is overall a lovely store worth your stop if you are someone who genuinely enjoys shopping local. To provide comment on the other review: you are getting what you pay for. If you're searching for a less classy experience, there is abundant shopping in the area that is more budget-friendly. I loved this beautiful store! I'll definitely be back."

"For a first-time visit it was a solid one. There was no plan to actually hit the store up, but when finding myself in the area with my son who loves the store it was a no-brainer because he needed new shorts.The parking area is spacious and I found it tidy. The sidewalk area and front had pop up tents and sell banners around the entrance. Not so sure I'm a fan of all this clutter around the front of the store but I think it was just due to the big sale they were conducting.It was a fantastic time to take advantage of the multiple sales. Unfortunately time was not on our side to spend an eternity looking. Teens tend to be slow. The young male clerk was a rockstar and immediately begin pulling things from the rack for my son to try on. He remain friendly and on top of us the entire time. It was to our benefit that the store was dead on a Wednesday afternoon.The store has tons of shirt, shorts, shoes, socks and even a skateboard shop inside. Parents this is the hip store that your teens love spending your money at. It's not cheap so look for those sell items when you can. The store was well organized with attractive displays. My son did find a few pair of shorts that worked well for him. The checkout process was not quite as smooth with some difficulty figuring out how items matched with a buy one get one offer. In the end it was all sorted out and I was satisfied that we still got a good deal.This is not an area where I would normally frequent. However, I would absolutely come back to this store without hesitation and recommend."

"On my first visit a few months ago, I browsed and was impressed. It's a small consignment shop AND boutique packed with a wide selection of clothing, bags, and jewelry. Not a lot of shoes, but not a big deal -- just a note. On my second visit and as a first-time consignor, I casually met Michelle (the owner) and wow, was she super pleasant! A genuine friendly customer exchange literally gives me a greater joy in supporting small businesses. They host a Facebook live showcasing new items every week. That's kinda cool. You can also shop online at any time. When you consign with them, you do not get any money on the spot; you get a check once a month. Overall, I find Michelle's to be a better experience than franchise consignment shops and I'm pretty sure you will, too."

"Look no further. I don't even have to explore more to determine that this is the best, most inclusive boutique in the area. Location is convenient with lots of parking, the gals working are all incredible, but their inventory is the main star. Tons of cute options and very size inclusive which is so important and awesome! I'm really tall and plus-size and found a bunch of really unique, flattering, non-frumpy options at a reasonable price. Their hat collection is also impressive! "Pac Sun is not a store that I frequent and I've actually never been to this location. My friend was looking for jeans and was able to purchase two pairs with the help of the super friendly, extremely helpful staff.The staff explained the deals of the day: certain jeans were buy one-get one 50% off while other styles were BOGO free. The styles and sale options were clearly marked on both the ladies and fellas sides. And all of the jeans were neatly displayed and everything was in the correct place.We were only considering one style/fit of pant during the first round of fittings, but when the cashier recommended to try a different fit that they had success with we headed back to the fitting room. Annnd...it was a winner. They staff even allowed the new jeans to be worn out of the store. Removing the tags and sensors while the jeans were on.I unfortunately did not have success with the pair that I tried on. This store is not really my style, but I'd give the staff a high five and a thumbs up for their excellent customer service, and a way to go for the stores array of jean styles, colors and washes."

"This location is not yet open for purchasing but they are steadily accepting gently used clothing to stock the shelves. The premise is simple: bring in your clothing, shoes, accessories in good condition for the staff to look at. Any items that they want to keep, they will offer cash for. I've been in 3 times and they have taken almost everything I've brought for extremely fair prices. I couldn't sell most of my stuff online for less! I'm excited for when they start selling. I've seen so many items I'd like to try on and buy. According to the staff, it will be about 6 weeks ago or so before they start selling."

"This boutique doesn't disappoint! It's bright, open, and clean. The merchandise is arranged beautifully. Dressing rooms are spacious. So many cute styles and a wide range of sizes. I walked in out of curiosity and left with 3 pieces. My favorite was the maroon dress. Laces up in the back and the lower half has a zipper. Stitching is well done. I do love the frosted denim style crop top too! Light weight but good quality. Remember this is a boutique so if you think about buying it get it! May not be there on your next visit. I was shocked at the affordable prices and super cute clothing. But they have more than that....they have wedding items, fur baby items, jewelry, shoes and high end purses. And it's so cute inside with a couch and cute signs. I met the owner and she is so nice!!!!! And she knows how to style.....which I do not. She was a huge help helping me and so nice. So glad I stopped in this little Chesapeake gem. I only wish I lived closer. But if I am ever in Chesapeake I will stop in and I would recommend."

If you've been to Monkee's this is sort'of like that boutique but less pretentious and more affordable. It's an adorable boutique with a unisex bathroom in back and two fitting rooms. Friendly staff greeted and helped us. This past weekend while the weather was warm and we were walking around with iced coffee - the doors were thrown open to welcome the warm air and I stopped in for a quick look. It's really cute! I don't know about you, but that sounds like a win to me! Everything that I picked up was on sale with an additional 25% off on top of that. I am so glad that I stumbled upon this boutique because as of right now it's the highlight of my vacation! I can't wait to parade around in my new duds!"

The selection here is definitely more trendy and unique than what you'll find at other stores, more fashion forward and commemorative t-shirt vibes if that makes sense. Prices are a little high but they had a sale rack full of discounted items available in a wide variety of sizes, which I appreciated. They have clothing for summer season as well as a few winter items (which were on sale when I was there, so I'd imagine if you're coming here in the fall you'll have your pick of discount summer clothes. On top of clothing they also have lots of super cute accessories -- sunglasses, bags, jewelry, you name it. Service is friendly especially if you want to try anything on or need help finding something in a different size or color. Worth a stop in if you're in the area."

"When you think of Orvis what comes to mind? For me it's quality, but their stores are much more and Virginia Beach was no disappointment. Located in Hilltop behind Chick Fil A. It actually is the same space that occupied Total Wine. Parking is convenient up front. The walk up was tidy. The exterior attractive. Sales associate Ray was fantastic! He showed myself and son around the store and described a few of the current specials. After trying on a few shirts my son liked we moved on to belts. My son settled on one he wanted. I also discussed sending my Barbour jacket in for rewaxing which it desperately needs. This is a UK jacket I purchased in 1993. I looked over some fishing gear which is compact, but quality. They even have a fishing report. Another gentleman helped in this area. They also have a smaller, but nice selection for women in the back. The prices are more than other places, but my wife swears by the quality. I would absolutely recommend Orvis and many may not even know Virginia Beach has a store. There are around four to Five in Virginia. Full 5 stars."

"Monkee's has moved! It's now in Hilltop area nestled in between Butcher's Son and Roast Rider. I liked visiting this upscale ladies boutique when it was in Town Center and I think I'll like visiting it here even more. Easier parking, more to see and do and just in general I love Hilltop shopping center, it's one of the best in town. A friend and I had brunch nearby and were shopping the block and wandered in thinking we'd do a quick loop but we were eagerly welcomed by the two friendly older ladies working inside and easily spent an hour inside looking, trying things on and talking. We had such a good time. I loved the shop - we found SO many cute things. Once or twice around just isn't enough - they have so many interesting designers and patterns and cuts of items. You can easily find something that is $200 for a tank top and then more reasonably priced items as well. They have every style and cut and design and are happy to style for you to help you find the right look. Did I mention accessories like jewelry, shoes, bags, hats, etc.? If you're looking for a few cute new pieces to add to your wardrobe, or need that one special outfit and want to shop somewhere where you'll likely find something not everyone else has, this is the spot for it. 5's all the way across the board based on today's fun experience."

"What I can tell you is that I confused myself when I came here. I followed the directions to get here and still ended up going in the wrong door. The door is around the side of the front. Once I got that out of the way I was good.When I came in here I was greeted warmly right away. It was nice to have someone be polite, she told me about where some items were and what they have on special. I went about the store and found a few items to take back with me.I browsed for more time than I thought, but it was worth it. I was able to get all the gifts I needed and be on my way. It was pretty great being in that amazingly organized store. After picking up my purchases I made my way to the counter and was greeted by another polite employee. That employee chatted with me the whole time as he was ringing up my items and making sure they were all folded appropriately. Great place to stop and pick up some gifts to bring home for the family. I would definitely stop back in here if I ever find myself in the area again."

After a few visits to Lemon Cabana I can share with you what this particular Virginia Beach store does right, and why it should be a model for others to emulate. My daughter has been a fan of the Oceanfront store for a few years primarily due to their selection of OnU necklaces which are very hot with not only young ladies but adult women as well. We have purchased a few of them and enjoyed browsing the store.The location off Laskin is one block from the Oceanfront and Atlantic Ave. Parking in their rear lot is FREE and the store can be accessed by a rear entrance. Parking in front is by meter. The store's walk up in front and back has been clean and neat. The business is situated on a short strip with a couple other businesses. I love the 60's retro feel of the building. Lemon carries home decor, ladies beach fashion, books and lots of unique items that you can't easily find else where. They are well known for a fantastic selection of costume jewelry. The store may be smallish, but it's packed with goodies. The feel is fresh, bright and service immediately welcoming. On every occasion there has been one of the two-three ladies ask if they can assist with no pressure to purchase. Yesterday while visiting my daughter wanted to purchase a OnU necklace. The inventory was depleted as a shipment is due in soon. Chic instructed us to follow their Instagram page which would announce the arrival of the shipment. My daughter happen to be wearing her OnU necklace and had a stubborn knot in it. Chic offered to work on it while we got lunch. Upon returning an hour later the knot was out to a happy young lady. No charge, just a very nice smile from Chic and will see you soon. This is first class service. Thank you Chic and Lemmon Cabana."

"Great surf/skate clothing for reasonable prices. They have a large selection of women's and men's clothing and are sometimes a little cheaper than WRV or 17th Street for the same items. Best to catch them on a sale day. They had buy one get one free bikini separates, which was a great deal. They have a nice selection of accessories as well. Dakine luggage, Billabong beach bags. It's a giant store.They do sell surfboards but they are pretty expensive. Better off getting a custom board made if you are gonna pay those prices."
