"This is a great delicious restaurant for all especially vegans! Wonderful and plentiful options. One of our favorite breakfast & brunch spots! The service is amazing for such busy and area and the upper area is nice to sit and enjoy your beverage and bagel."
"Each time we visit Luna Maya, the food and service never disappoints. Luckily, we haven't had to wait long for a table, even though it can be really busy. Adrienne was our server and she was very prompt and friendly the entire time. Food quality has always been consistent. I always get the same thing - the tamales, of course! I always recommend that to anyone who is visiting for the first time. Luna Maya will always be one of my favorite places to eat!"

"super cute, mini shop in front, mural out back plus patio spaceJuice bar + market. Great grab and go options if you're staying nearby or heading to the beachThey have their own parking lot which is wonderful because parking can be an issueGreat serviceThey have a cute little outside patio. A mural on the back. Cute little seating areas insideOrdered: The Green Cat So good can't wait to go back and try some of the smoothie bowlsWhen even the bathroom is cute, you know it's a place to go check out"
"This is definitely in my top ten places to eat. The food is amazing and the service is impeccable. Being a vegetarian is not always easy unless you're eating at Kotobuki. On top of having a nice selection they are very accommodating to change most dishes into a vegetarian version. I like that there's two types of seating. We usually do traditional table and chairs but they also offer traditional Japanese seating. When you find yourself in the area, stop by an amazing meal that will have you coming back again and again."
"First time to eat Ethiopian food and it did not disappoint. The platter was family style where you eat with your hands and pickup your food with Injera: A fluffy tortilla-pancake-crepe like texture. It was unexpectedly good despite the color and looks. The platter was HUGE and very filling. My favorite is the Injera and the tenderloin beef. The best part of course is the Ethiopian coffee: Bunna - Siga Wot: Chunks of Beef tenderloin cooked in Ethiopian butter, onions and red pepper sauce.- Mesob Special Tibs: Beef or lamb cubed, sautéed with onions, tomatoes, jalapeños, and rosemary.- Shrimp With sautéed onions, tomato, spinach, garlic, and Ethiopian butter. - Injera Veggies:- Mesir Wot: Spicy lentil stew with berbere and garlic.- Kik Alicha: Yellow split peas with garlic, and onions.- Cabbage and Carrots.- House Salad- Bunna: Ethiopian - Lemon cake"
"Awesome customer service. Very flavorful and filling!! Definitely will go back to try something else."
"I had the jack fruit and mushrooms Rasta pasta. It was good. The veggie Mac and cheese was good however if you not use to the cheese you may not like it. But I quite enjoyed it. The service was a tab bite slow, compared to the 20 mins she stated the food will be ready. The ambiance and decor was great. I will be back to try other items on the menu."

I first stepped foot in this place nearly 20 years ago and fell in love with the bagels way back when. But I came back recently and found myself pretty stunned by the expansions they've made. The communal working space is amazing--I haven't run into anything else like it in the area.Great work, team.

This place was our happy accident for the evening we forgot about the grand illumination, and the place that we wanted to go to downtown, we just couldn't get parking so we were hunting for a new place and stopped at a wine bar, but they were also unable to accommodate our group and recommended This restaurant as an we had such a great time they were more than accommodating for a large group of nine. Our waitress was amazing, took care with each of our orders, and was very attentive. The food was delicious with extra large portions in my opinion, their queso and guac to die for. We had such a great time, but definitely recommend.

A small and super cute juicery right near the coastline of Virginia Beach. This place is perfect if you need a refreshing drink or a shot made with ginger. I love coming here when I'm too lazy to make my own juice and smoothie or if I come out for a Trader Joe's run because they do a great job, and everything is very fresh.I will say that the service was a little bit on the slower end. We saw that there were over five drinks that were ready just on the counter for over five minutes and one of them was ours that we were just waiting for someone to call out. Another thing is that I personally think that it is a little bit over priced for the drinks, so definitely not a place I go to all the time but definitely will come here at least once a month if I'm feeling like I want to try and new juice or just get a refresher! I always get the green drink with a ginger shot, so I highly recommend those two. Parking is a little bit tight as they have a small lot right behind so you may have to park elsewhere and they do have seating inside and outside but not that much if you were planning on sitting inside.

Jikoni Cafe is such a hidden gem! The food is full of flavor and very satisfying! I got the half pocket with Jibini (alfredo sauce) and the Peach Cobbler shake! Very filling! Inside it's a very peaceful atmosphere! I called in my order and it was ready upon my arrival! There are plenty of vegan and natural products to purchase as well.

** came back home to my second home to check on my grandmoms and get her out the house. thought id check out the vegan restaurants in va.beach, since the vegan wave seems to be in and ive been dabbling in it from time to time here in nyc.came in nice outside seating in front of restaurant. we were seated, tables a lil sticky ((menu sticking to it )). but other then that the hospitality was there. food was ok, not bad..... they didn't have the rasta pasta nor oxtail mushroom or jasmine rice that my grandmother wanted. we then ordered started w/ strawberry kiwi juice w/ ginger in it. ( ginger wasn't over powering #yum ). my grandz got the yellow rice w/ krabcake sandwich. she enjoyed it although shes not big on onions that she kept taking out she enjoyed it for most part ( guess next time shell know lol lol ). i myself ordered the 2 krab cake w/ callaloo and sweet plantains. delicious i enjoyed. they also sell many different flavors of sea moss. ive seen but never had, received sum good info on it and how to use it. and i winde up buying a jar. 1st vegan restaurant that ive tried in va. and compared to the thousands of restaurant in nyc and hundreds of vegan ones. i can say this place can definitely hang in there for the long run in va. come get yall a piece. ill be back for the rasta pasta signed, i love to eat, and i do it out consistently!!mr.von teese & familyxoxox **

This store is tucked under the funny bone. The cinnamon rolls are absolutely delicious and they offer every combination you can think of. Our associate, Marjorie was very friendly and helpful. We took our cinnamon rolls to go so that we could sit outside and enjoy the weather but there is a small area where you can dine in as well. In addition to the cinnamon rolls they offer many other desserts like cookies, cookie dough, cinnacakes, etc. they also offer catering. We would definitely recommend!

"I was in Virginia Beach recently on business trip, and my wife told me about a little shop called Cinnaholic and I was very impressed on the with cleanlinees and the customer service of the staff. My wife chose the Strawberry shortcake cinnamon and I chose the Rocky Road and oh my goodness...both of these treats were as delicious as advertised. My wife even called them "sinful"...in a good way of course. If you have a sweet tooth or just like cinnimon buns, and in the city of Virginia Beach, you need Cinnaholicin your life. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!"
"I have never seen so many different vegan meat options in my life. Even if you are not vegan you can still have a tasty meal here. I did an early dinner with a Reuben Sandwich and side of Cauliflower "Onion" rings. The meat (non-meat) was sooooo good. My girlfriend got the Mediterranean sandwich with the pickled cucumber salad side that was also good. The owners are super friendly and the atmosphere is very warm and welcoming!Next visit will be to try breakfast. If any criticism it would be they close so early at 6pm but that seems to be all vegan places."
"So this is my first time here and I wanted to stop in just to see exactly what they were about. The young lady behind the counter was very nice and gave me a lot of information and recommended that I go with the chicken salad. This sandwich was pretty damn good. My intention was just to sample it in the car but I ended up eating the whole thing before I drove off. A salad that came with it was also great with the homemade chips. I will be returning to this spot very soon and often. Meatless Monday's you say?"
"This is our new favorite Thai restaurant on the Peninsula! We usually get takeout but have dined in once. Service is always prompt and friendly. Highlights on the menu are the flavorful Tom yum soup, the pad Thai, and the green curry, which is excellent. I recently tried the khaki soi which is a rich yellow curry soup with egg noodles. It was delicious, and I look forward to ordering it again! Most of the Thai items we've tried are worth reordering. The exception was the Aroi platter--while the green papaya salad was good, the beef was very tough and gristly, so would not order that item again. Similarly, the "Asian" items are underwhelming. The shrimp shumai tasted like a reheated frozen item, and the wonton soup was average. We'll definitely be back, and there remain a number of Thai dishes on the large menu which I look forward to trying."
"Great selection of delicious wines to pair with our raw oysters. Divinity on the half shell. We also had the duck fat fries and the broccolini with roasted garlic. They were expertly prepared. Our server was knowledgeable and friendly, outstanding service. It doesn't get better than this in the OBX or most anywhere else."
"As a pretty picky person who also happens to have an adventurous person, I decided to give in and try something new. I picked the Egusi soup with red snapper. My sides were fufu and broccoli, and let me tell you, I am shocked. SHOCKED at how phenomenal it was! I was pretty adamant on returning to Yendidi because it was really hit or miss with the ox tails I received the last two times I had visited NFK location, but I had to have these flavors again. The spices, the seasonings, this is an experience. As for service, man. Those beautiful ladies answered all of my silly questions and were so kind! Not an ounce of annoyance in their voices and all of the smiles the entire time. The restaurant was clean and very welcoming. First time trying this location, and I will be back."
"I'll start with bad news. Came to visit some friends in Va. they want to go here. So we order. We ate (wasn't great). We ask for the check. The waitress ask if we wanted separate check. Sure we are two different couples. Check came back. I paid. Look at the tax and it like 19% tax charge in Va for a state that the Tax is no more than 7.5%. Look up reviews and come to find out they charge for having separate checks (Per reviews). And the staff didn't inform us that would be the case. That is totally wrong in my opinion. Nva been to an establishment that did this. Now on to the food. Way too much parsley on everything. Mac and cheese seem to not be prepared. The turkey bacon was cooked too hard. And there is very small portion. Fish had bones in them.Eggs were ok. Now the waitress did a great job. So overall a 3 stars."
"I learned about this place via a random FB post from a couple months ago asking about Black owned businesses that offer vegan brunch. While I'm not a vegan, I enjoy the food and thought I'd give it a try. I ordered a sausage, egg and cheese burger, the 1/2 Sunday brunch (pancakes and sausage), Oreo cupcakes and pumpkin bread. Everything was EXCELLENT. The fries were well-seasoned and crunchy. The burger was juicy and had the perfect ratio of bun to meat to egg ratio. The cupcakes were so moist they might as well melted in your mouth. My 9-month daughter ate every bite of her pancake and sausage meal. Service and atmosphere were great. I can't wait to come back."
