"This is a small shop but packed full of curious items. She has a big variety of rocks and crystals. some antiques, and wild funky cool jewelry. Like there is so much packed in I stick to one section just to look through everything. Pull open the drawers and you will into a different world with each drawer. The Name of the shop is Vintage Trixie and it is perfectly names. The owner is the sweetest person and so much fun. I would visit just to hang out with her. But I always find something to buy. You would probably spend days if you tried to look at everything. If you are looking for something specific just ask."

"This consignment shop is laid out beautifully. It's easy to find your size and style. Some of the racks are separated by designer, which makes it convenient if you are looking for a particular brand. Most of the prices seemed a bit high to me, so definitely wait for the discounted prices to take effect, unless you can't live without the item! There's a good selection of shoes and an enormous jewelry department. Much of the jewelry is crafted by artisans and quite unique. They also stock nice gift items, books, mugs, pens, etc. Be sure to look in the back clearance room... up to 50-75% off. I found some amazing deals on jewelry, a cool yellow bracelet for $3, some necklaces for $4, and even a picture for $12. The service was a bit slow but Worth the Wait is definitely worth the stop!"

"Hole in the wall thrift store! Great place for antiquing! Lots of great finds. As to all thrift stores...it's a hit or miss. But I've never left this place empty handed. Kids clothes, dresses, home décor, plenty of furniture, kitchenware ..etc. Prices are average nothing spectacular LOL But if you pay cash it will be cheaper when it comes to the furniture.You walk in and it looks like its a small place. But make sure you go to the back far left and it will bring you to a whole new area! Plenty of parking available as well!"

"I stumbled into this place with friends recently after having Sunday Brunch with friends at 80/20 Burger and had a wonderful experience.This place has an amazing selection of both vintage and designer clothes for very reasonable prices; furthermore, I'm in love with how the interior of the shop is set up. It's very cute and the clothing is well organized according to gender, size, and type. During my visit, I snagged two vintage 80s sweaters and a nice pair of Oliver Sweeney leather boots for mad cheap. It should also be noted that Janis, was really sweet and helpful throughout my shopping experience. Her commentary really made searching though, finding, and trying on clothes very enjoyable. All in all, I definitely recommend this shop for anybody who is looking to find cute gently used high-end fashion for less. Mostly home decor and the selection rotates every 30-60 days so I love coming here frequently to see what is new. It is one of my first stops when I am starting Christmas shopping every year. It was so easy to sort through things because all the clothes were organized by size. The furniture was neatly displayed in one section of the store, glassware in another, fall decor in another, and clothes and shoes in the middle of the store. Everything was super clean, not a dust particle in sight! What a wonderful find!"

"Hunt and Gather has taken over the space previously occupied by a thrift/consignment shop. The feel and vibe and most of the vendors are the same but somehow it feels more elevated than before. I'm not sure what it is... but I saw some new items and shops inside that were much more high-end and selling new/newer housewares and decor that I really loved. One of the vendors inside I've seen at a few local art shows and I love her work - Blair Family Woodcraft featuring a lot of Virginia-inspired wood art as well as some take home kits where you can paint the wood and decor yourself for only $25. I found some gorgeous heirloom pieces and some art as well as some nice english china. Worth a browse if you are in the area for sure. Several available booths as well for people to take over so I suspect the inventory is always changing around."

"I go to this thrift store EVERY week because I find the best stuff here. There is a "boutique" section with higher-end clothes mostly with the tags still on them, there are usually many designer handbags (Vera Bradley, Coach, Fossil, etc.), modern jewelry, some furniture and a great selection of fabric for anyone who sews!I only rate it a 4 b/c the store is crowded and unorganized on most days, can be pricey on the nicer stuff, and there's NO FITTING room! Overall, I find lots if good stuff at this store and I definitely recommend checking it out."

"Every time I come to OBX I make it a MUST to stop at this spot. I love how unique all of the offerings are and the owners are really friendly and helpful. The store is literally overflowing with the most memorable vintage shoes, bags, dresses and jewelry. OMG so much jewelry! Usually when I come in I head straight for the handbags and then the earrings. I love grabbing a few "new" pieces. The prices here aren't super cheap-- but are definitely fair. Just don't expect $5 and below. Think more, mid range as far as prices go (bags for $30-$80, dresses for $20-$50, earrings for $8-$15)."

"This store is chockfull of quality goods from a variety of makers. It's in a great location on Richmond Road and part of an overall local chain that I really like as a whole. I just wish that the folks working were more efficient and friendlier.I don't love that they take the tags off when you buy things. I know that's their process and it's all final sale anyway, but it'd be ideal to have an itemized breakdown. I thought the sweatshirt I was buying was $26 because it was situated in the same display as other sweatshirts that were $26 (display pictured). My fault for not taking note of the specific one I picked up, which was $38. The price difference felt a bit outrageous for the same brand of shirt and I had to email them to confirm the price.The line to check out took about 25 minutes. I am in my 30s, but I do have a bad back, so standing in place hurts. I listened as they gracefully apologized to all the older folks ahead of me, but they barely said a word to me when it was finally my turn, much less an apology for the excessive wait. I just wish that, being that it's nearly 2025, they'd consider a more efficient check-out system. I included that feedback in my email to them, though they didn't acknowledge it sadly. That would've been a great time to apologize and confirm that they will do a better job of treating guests equally regardless of appearance in the future.Five stars for the quality goods; one star for the service, but I'm rounding my review up to be kind."

The owner does a great job of stocking a nice variety of sizes, styles, and brands. She carries some maternity and even men's clothing. She was working there both times I shopped here. She is very personable and sweet. She makes you feel very welcome and makes you top priority from the moment you walk in the store. She has a nice, large changing room to try clothes on. This store is mainly clothing, shoes, and handbags. But, that is not all! She carries paintings, handcrafted jewelry, and other home items from local artists. The store is nicely decorated and she does a great job or showcasing everything so that you do not feel like you have to dig around to find something (like a lot of consignment stores). A special bonus....right next door is a delicious local bakery! So, go grab a treat after your shopping!=)"

"Cape Charles is such a cute town! A great family friendly beach with cute shops to check out. I just happen to stumble across this store when I was there last week. What an awesome store. They have so many unique items. Books, drinking goods, kitchen items, cards, gifts, puzzles and so many other unique goodies. It was just a little bit of everything. I really was in love with it all. It's the perfect spot to go and put together a goodie basket as a gift. Pricing was a little bit for some items, but I am sure you could find something within your price point. The bright exterior with the fenced in area was so sweet. The exterior had so much curb appeal. Service was great. She was nice, attentive and had a smile the whole time. I could not tell, but, I feel like they just opened or they are opening after maybe a down season. I'm not sure. But, either way it was great and it made the list of stores to check out when I am in the area."

She greeted us promptly when we came in.If your going to any events with a Gatsby theme, Grease or old timey feel this is a good store to start with. You will have to kinda dig for what your looking for, but i guess that makes it kinda fun. If your not sure what you need the owner is very helpful with assisting.The store has alot of stuff so i can be overwhelming at first, but once you find out where everything is, its all good. "Great prices and loads of treasures will be found at Vintage Vibe! Susie, who was minding the store, welcomed us no was helpful throughout our visit. She said, "Just holler if you need anything!" Made us feel right at home, so down to earth and pleasant! This antique mall has 22 vendors and the various booths are easy to navigate, are well organized and display well! There's a lot of eye catching pieces, from Fiestaware, to Pyrex, and ruby glass to other glassware and kitchen items. You'll also discover rooms filled to the brim with nostalgic toys and games, dolls and figurine collectibles. One vendor stocks Longaberger, baskets and pottery galore. You'll also find linens, vintage tools, funky crafts, retro clothing, antique jewelry, home goods, artwork, antique furniture, cool lamps, and more! I left with a bag full of cool stuff, some character glasses from the 80's, a bejeweled anchor, some cute metal shelves, a silver sugar bowl with shells, driftwood & an airplane inside, a few books, a mini Barbie, and some garden signs. There was a fabulous gypsy beaded lamp I have my eye on! I just may come back for that piece! This won't be my last trip to this eclectic shop!!"
