He explained everything on menu and recommended wonderful dishes! We all got exactly what we preferred and it was very prompt as well! It was a Friday night so we made reservations! Axel made my daughter feel even more special by allowing her to select the cake of her choice on the house! It was such a great night and we really enjoyed all of it!!"

It almost seemed like they were more focused on delivering the juice to "open up our taste buds" and oblivious to the value in stopping at our table shortly after seating us to introduce themselves and offer water.I would certainly recommend Kimball's for special occasions and would dine again if we vacationed in the area more often."

The food was ok. Appetizers were better than the dinner. Form being a "steak & tonic" place you would think the steak would be perfect. I was excited to try the Wagu ribeye $110. Ordered medium rare. Had to send it back twice for them to put it on longer. It still wasn't cooked right. So I just gave up. And the steak was more fat than actual meat. I was told there are different chefs that work daily, apparently that night the chef we had must've had a bad day. I see this spot as a great drink appetizers spot. Bar was busy and the drinks were great."

Unfortunately, the salad wasn't prepared with crisp romaine lettuce and there was way too much shaved parmesan cheese which overwhelmed. A slice of key lime pie was thick and screamingly tart.When the restaurant fills up, conversation is affected due to a noticeable din in the dining room.The view of the creek is pleasant.I asked if there was an AJ, and was told that he's the cat out front. Sure enough, when I went to look for him, he was there -- hanging out in the parking lot and scampering about the garden areas. AJ is quite the feline maitre d', in his black fur coat and hypnotic eyes."

We first went 15 years ago, and it was even better this time.Our server was very attentive, and the overall service is next level. We went before a show at Chrysler Hall, and our waiter made every effort to expedite our meal.We ordered the Japanese A5 filet, and it was perfection in a piece of beef. The shareable sides were more than enough to make sure everyone got some. Even though it was the dinner rush, the restaurant was warm and wasn't overly loud.It was the best steakhouse 15 years ago, and it still is today."

The main entrée was Hibachi Chicken & Steak with veggies and fried rice. The portions were large, delicious, and filling.... can we say leftovers. I've never had an espresso martini but the bartender recommended it's one of the best so I decided to try it. I was not disappointed! After a short time, our table was ready and Brittany was our server for the evening. She also made great recommendations and we decided to share the Porterhouse steak in addition to their amazing wedge salad! One of the best wedge salads I ever had, and the size was large enough to also be shared (but I didn't lol). Our dinner was a great experience and would definitely return."

I know the restaurant offers deals throughout the week so this may have steered the crowd here.Nevertheless, we had a waiter and a waitress that took care of us, a party of 10 and they both were great and attentive.Overall, the meal and drinks were on point as usual.The only hiccup was the butter for the bread. It seemed as though the butter came directly from the freezer or frig because I could not spread it smoothly on my complimentary roll.The waitress came to my rescue... she easily swapped a bowl of butter from another table and it was all good.We also dined up front which had plenty of space to seat our party.I love it here! "Out visiting and stop by Jumpin Shrimp for a few apps and drinks. We were quickly seated and order taken. Few minutes our waiter took our drink order. We had our drinks and water in no time. After ordering, within 10 minutes our apps started coming out. The fried goat cheese was out of this world, paired with pepper jelly! The lumpia is a must have, possibly some of the best I've ever eaten. The crabs were ok, not super hot and seemed to not be seasoned other than a tad of old bay sprinkled on them. The oyster rockerfellas were good, but for me the bacon overpowered the flavor of the oyster and other toppings. If you need a spot for a drink, an app and a great view of the Ocean. I'd suggest trying this one out!"

"The Seahorse Steakhouse is a busy place. I knew there was going to be a wait when I saw the parking lot so full. When you arrive get your name on the list at the counter and stand around with the other folks waiting for a table and stare at the case of cakes that look so very good. I was there during the prime rib special that is two days a week and seems to be a popular choice from what I could hear. The other patrons were friendly while we waited. I'm not sure how long it took to be seated but when my name was called I was put into a booth.At the other tables and booths I noticed the waitstaff knowing the names of the other patrons so that is always a good sign. My waitress was friendly and gave some recommendations. I ordered a piece of cake to go first thing as I wanted to be sure I got a slice of the pig pickin' with the pineapple and mandarin oranges. Bread and hush puppies were brought out with my beverage. I was even offered more if I chose. I went with the filet mignon and shrimp as I couldn't decide between the two so went with an option on the menu to get both. I also got a baked potato and mac n cheese. The potato was huge. Both the filet and the shrimp were great as was the baked potato. I wasn't a fan of the mac n cheese as much so when I got full I was ok not finishing or taking that with me.I will be back the next time I am in Greenville, NC."

"This was a small spot with outdoor seating. There also was a bar outside, but not sure if it was part of the establishment. The menu was diverse while the service was friendly. The food also came out very fast.For an appetizer, the hushpuppies ($7) were ordered. They came with whipped butter, but it was in the small packages. There were twelve medium sized balls that were fried appropriately and came out extremely hot. They were very tasty. There was a nice batter to filing ratio with plenty of flavor.I had the fish tacos ($15). There were two large tacos with beer battered rockfish, jicama slaw, chili lime mayo, and Pico de Gallo. They were stuffed appropriately with a lot of slaw. I would have preferred the rockfish to be a little bigger, but it was not a big deal as they were good and fried nicely. The mayo was a nice touch with the rest of the filling. I opted for the potato salad as a side, and it was pleasant. I also tried the fried green tomato sandwich that came with basil goat cheese, roasted red pepper, and a balsamic reduction. This was well put together. Every component of the sandwich complimented each other nicely. Will I go back? Yes."

After hearing about this spot on Yelp and again from the folks at the winery, we had to check it out. We are certainly glad we did!!! Now, let me say... We almost missed the small sign off of Old Glebe Pt Rd (on the right) and I thought I saw a few children of the corn on the drive back as they danced to dueling banjos... But all worry subsided once a mountain of perfectly steamed crab legs beckoned me. My husband ordered the small (cough cough 28oz?!?) mouthwatering prime rib. (Needless to say we had prime rib omelets the next morning!)Get there early, as there was already a bit of a line before they opened on Saturday night. Service was friendly and efficient. It's for sure that we will be back when we are in town!"

"Came here in the afternoon with a friend to try this place out. Someone had mentioned the grilled Octopus appetizer being very good, which by the way was very delicious! I don't normally enjoy Octopus but this was definitely the exception. The Mahi Mahi appetizer was also very tasty. We had entrees of the of the Picanha Tacos and Picanha Burger. The Picanha burger meat was very juicy and cooked well. Friend had the Sangria and described it as sweetish, with sparkling in it, and tastes like blackberry. All the dishes had beautiful presentation. Pricing is fair and won't hurt your wallet too much. The restaurant has a nice ambience and is a great place for lunch and dinner. Not to mention a nice bar to get a drink at. The servers are really nice and helpful. This place can easily get overlooked in this shopping center but it's definitely worth checking out!"

"The Amber Lantern is a cozy restaurant on the water in the Chesapeake area. It was the perfect spot to celebrate with friends and family for a special occasion. While it's definitely in the most unassuming spot: off the highway and by what appears is a lot of construction. Once you get there, you'll find a peaceful, refined restaurant that's nice but not overly pretentious or fussy. The menu is a mix of seafood, American, and pasta dishes. So there's a good mix for pretty much everyone! Don't sleep on the warm bread. It's excellent. They also have delicious drinks and cocktails if you're looking for a fun libation. I really enjoyed my pasta. It was rich and tasty. The serving size was generous, so I definitely didn't leave hungry. The service was so friendly and accommodating. While this place is not an everyday staple. It's definitely a nice once in a while treat if you're looking for something nicer."

It's is a new favorite spot -- beats out Byrd and Baldwin for a date night. Simple things to be aware of: complementary valet parking (if you forget or don't have cash, you can add the valet tip to your bill at the end and your server will bring you cash from the bar to hand to the valet -- who at least for us was a very respectful young college student who was quickly met us once we pulled up and quickly brought us our car.) Yes, gratuity (20%) is added to your bill, which is clearly stated on the menu and if you read just a handful of reviews of Zoes -- shouldn't be a surprise at bill time."

"After seeing all the IG posts, my friend and I decided to try them out. We went one Saturday evening around 6pm just for drinks. It wasn't packed but by the time we left, there was a wait. There was a sign outside that said you only can stay 90 min and a 20% gratuity is added to all orders. It is small but the ambience is a vibe. It's so nicely decorated. I ordered the Utopia drink and salmon bites and my friend got the shrimp and another drink. We didn't care for our drinks but the star was the salmon bites. They were delicious, so good I ended up going back the next week for lunch. Lunchtime: I arrived at 11:04am because their website said they opened at 11. The gentleman came to the door about to tell me that they opened at 11 then realized it was time. I don't think they were expecting guests so early. I ordered the salmon bites and the shrimp Rasta Pasta. It took about 30 minutes to get my food but it was worth it! The salmon bites were delicious and the Rasta pasta was a lunch size portion and really filling. It was a great experience and I will be back for other lunch items"
