"Great food for a quick stop as we just in town for a mini vacation. We arrived and were seated immediately, were taken to upper level away from bar since we had the kids. Good menu selections. Our server was great and super nice to offer suggestions as it was our first time visiting. Family ordered fish and chips, shrimp tacos (arrived soggy), mahi special (fish was really small) but tasty, kids pasta and kids fries and tenders (really yummy) and my fish and chips arrived super late when my family was finishing their food.Otherwise good visit"
"Visited Orapax for the first time for a corporate team dinner and was very impressed! Loved how warm and welcoming the ambiance was and the small lights on the table made it very easy to see the menu. There was a few minutes left for Happy Hour (Happy Hour ends at 6!) and I ordered the Rosemary fries, a half dozen of Pegasus wings (they were so good!) and a small Greek salad. For the size of our party, all of the food arrived in a timely manner and was perfect- the tempeture was great, serving size was great. No complaints at all. To wrap up the night, I finished with a warm brownie sundae topped with vanilla ice cream with drizzled caramel and chocolate syrup. 10/10. I found a new hidden gem!"

"Great tacos, good drink selection. Little weak on the pour but still good. Personable staff."
"Yum yum yum! The food here is so great. I tried the big fish sandwich and it is BIG and delicious. Our server was very nice and attentive. Look forward to going back!"
"Great spot for watching the games. Bartenders are really amazing, vey attentive never had to ask for service."
"I arrived here around 10:15am on a Saturday morning with my sons. It was pretty empty. I opted to sit outside as we just left the beach and were a little sandy, lol. Most of the chairs are rusty, due to the metal and the rain, I assume. They did have 3 chairs with cushions, which we sat in. We ordered around 10:20am. We all got "the flop" which is 2 pancakes, eggs, and bacon or sausage. Toppings are $1.50 extra. My boys got chocolate chips and I got blueberry. The food came at 10:31am. It was hot, fresh, and Delicious. The pancakes, in my opinion, were average. No complaints but not one of the best I've had. The bacon was perfectly crispy. We were given a basket that has syrup, ketchup, butter, and other condiments. We were also given hot sauce, salt, and pepper. The waitress was friendly. She was the only one present. They do have drink and food specials as well. Overall, great experience. We ordered, ate, and left in under an hour. It was in a convenient location as well as it was in between the oceanfront and our hotel on Pacific Ave. I would return!"
"Special thank you to the amazing customer service at Lendy's tonight!!! Since I was in the mood for wings and have always heard of how great Lendy's wings were, I placed an online order for 24 wings, Jalapeño Poppers and Cajun Fries. Before processing the order, I called and asked how many sauces were allowed to be selected for a 24 count of wings and was told I could receive up to four sauces, 6 wings per sauce. Unfortunately, the online ordering site only allowed for me to order 12 wings at a time and didn't allow for the selection of multiple sauces so I placed a note in the order asking for the additional sauces. Because I understand how the "notes" can be overlooked for online orders, I called back to let them know I was only able to select one sauce per 12 count but that I placed the additional sauce requests in the notes area. I picked up my order and unfortunately, I had 12 wings with the Suicide sauce and 12 wings with the Garlic Parmesan sauce. In the notes, I requested 6 Suicide, 6 Garlic Parmesan, 6 BBQ and 6 Cajun. I called back to inform them that the order was wrong and the lady was extremely understanding. She provided me with a way to receive a refund or offered to make me all new wings. I preferred the option to receive new wings since I really wanted to taste the different wing sauces and the wings were ready in 10-15 mins. The wings were absolutely amazing!!!! The Suicide sauce and the BBQ were my absolute favorite. The Cajun fries were seasoned wonderfully and the Jalapeño Poppers were very good! Thank you Lendy's for quickly correcting the issue and providing exceptional customer service! I will definitely be returning!"
"I have been here twice, both for birthday occasions with a large party, and I have to say they are very accommodating. Props to the staff!! This place has a pretty low rating, but I disagree. Great service, fresh delicious seafood, and a wide drink menu say otherwise.Unfortunately I don't have many pictures yet, besides a dim one of the massive Neptune's platter because we ate outside in the dark this time, and last time I wasn't on Yelp. But I have sampled the platters, stealing off of my boyfriend's plate, and the Shore Drive Fish Tacos. Both are divine. There is also a good selection of non-seafood items. And again, service is always quick and friendly. This past visit was my boyfriend's siblings bday. We had a large party of 10 hosted by their parents. They were pretty rambunctious, but I always make sure to recognize the hard work of service workers. I felt terrible for our server because half the time, he would come up and check on us, and my boyfriend, the sibling's husband and I were the only ones not ignoring him. But he still kept a great attitude. Even when he stopped by multiple times and their mom complained about needing something when she could have asked if she paid attention. Not to air her out... but our server was very very patient. In-laws!!!!!!!! Lol. My boyfriend and I tipped very well to hopefully make it worth it.I haven't been to the bar, but when I went inside to use the restroom, it was very noisy and crowded from the bargoers. So there's a big scene there if you're into that vibe. So, no matter what you're into, especially if you LOVE seafood like me, stop by CP Shuckers!!!!"
"Went yesterday. Really liked they offered non alcoholic Piña coladas and strawberry daiquiri! I tried the vegetarian enchiladas w mushroom avocado n spinach. Yummy. Food was fine but they had 2 wifi networks called Jose tequilas and did not share any passwords when asked."
"Five year update review - and Schooner's is still trucking along. They've got a formula, and it works. It's worked so well, that it hasn't much changed in the 20 years since I moved here and started visiting the place. It still waivers pretty consistently between 3-4 stars depending on the experience, but I cannot find any other BBQ chicken pizza in the area that is anywhere near as good as theirs. The margarita pizza is also aces. Their sweet potato fries are also still consistently delicious. Service is still consistently hit or miss -- sometimes it's fantastic, other times you're begging a bartender to look in your general direction. The patio is a huge perk on beautiful fall days like this one - parking is consistently a challenge. The old adage "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" applies here. Schooner's keeps delivering exactly what they've been doing for 20+ years."
"The food was good, I had the seafood pasta and the sauce was great! My boyfriend got the admirals platter and they mixed up his request for how he wanted it cooked, but were quick to fix it. It's slightly pricey for what it is, but overall we had a nice time. I'm sure in the tourist season it's nice sitting outside but we were inside this time. Our waitress was very nice and helpful even though it was a busy night."
"Friends introduced us to Wing King a few months ago and it was great the first time. Came back a second and third time and it was okay. Wings were dry and overcooked; like a solid 7 out of 10. THOUGH, their ranch!!! 12/10. If anything, I would only go for their ranch. Service is great, ranch is great, just wish the wings were better."

We were here Wednesday happy hour and crab leg special.Crab legs were so good with old bay seasoning, but I think it was a little bit shy from one and a half a pound. My BF ordered a chicken sandwich and chips. He said the sandwich was OK a bit dry but we loved the chips, you must try them!Mussels bowl was so good, i've had some good mussels bowl in my past, but I think this just might be the best. And they make the best tequila old-fashion, yummy! I thought my wine was $2 during happy hour but no, it was two dollars off a regular price.I recommend this place if you happen to be in Virginia Beach or if you live around here definitely a must try spot .

The food choices are great! A wide menu from pizza to hummus. By the way their hummus is fantastic! One of the best I have ever tasted. The staff is friendly and very attentive. The restaurant is big and it can fill up quickly. What an icon in Norfolk. Highly recommended for a great dinner!

Ambiance: Super close to the beach and dogs are allowed in their patio. Staff were very friendly and got our dog a chilled water bowl.Food: We had queso which was yummy and the chicken bowl with extra chicken. It was delicious. Would definitely recommend it.Parking: Finding free parking so close to the beach is a bit tricky. It's walkable from the beach and of-course there are paid parking lots all around.

We were visiting from out of town and were looking for a quick meal and found Kregger's on Yelp. Happy hour (until 7PM) offered discounts on drafts, wine and rails. Great selection of beers! The woman who welcomed us was our server and did a great job. We ordered the Buffalo oysters (mild) as an appetizer and then enjoyed the Monday night special, strip steaks (with two sides). Place was crowded and, I have to say, understaffed, but our server knew and prepped us for possible delay. For example, she had to leave the appetizer plates on the table when our entrees were served, but apologized when she came to clear them 5" later. Well done!Overall, friendly service, good value received for what we were charged. Will return on a future visit

Of course I forgot to take photos! But the portion sizes are great! We all took home leftovers. The waitress was very attentive. The vibe was nice and family oriented. The only downside was that they charged extra for any sides of condiments. We asked for ranch and honey mustard and were charged a $1.00 for a little cup of them. And their homemade honey mustard and ranch were not good. The honey mustard was runny and the ranch just had an off taste.

Stopped by for a quick breakfast and was not disappointed. Menu feature breakfast classics as well as specialty dishes. Service was friendly and fast. Not a wide selection of mimosas but there is a bar so you can pretty much get anything. The food tasted home made and I will be coming back to grab some more!

Oh my word, this place hit the spot! We were out here on a work trip, and someone had mentioned that this place has great wings. I'm not a wing person, but they have other stuff on the menu so we figured we'd try it out. We came in a pretty large group (maybe 9 of us?) and they were accommodating to get us seated together. The place had a great, local atmosphere and most people in the bar seemed to know each other. The bartenders were super fun and both were absolutely hilarious. We really enjoyed our time chatting with them! Lendy's was a breath of fresh air. We had previously been eating over-priced food from food trucks or oceanfront restaurants that charged a lot for average quality. All in our group agreed this was the best place we'd been to thus far and remained a trip favorite. Chill, casual, tasty, simple - it was exactly what we were looking for. I had the fried catfish dinner and it was delightful. I ate the whole thing and it was pretty sizeable. Super reasonable prices, too. If we end up back in town, Lendy's will be first on the list.

cheap happy hour food and drinks. I sat at the bar and it was good. VERY large happy hour portions and not the cheapest food. But large portions I was able to take home. The bar seating seems to have regulars. TONS of TVs around to watch games.Indoor, outdoor seating. Kids menu. Draught beer. They take credit cards. I enjoyed the wings. They can do finished on the grill. But I'll be honest, not crispy enough. ask for extra time in the fryer.

"Cogan's Pizza North lured me in with its proximity and a menu boasting a meat-lover's paradise. My sights were set on the "Meatzilla," a carnivorous behemoth promising a symphony of pepperoni, sausage, ham, and bacon. While the aroma upon entering was undeniably enticing, the actual delivery on the pizza front proved somewhat uneven. The crust, unfortunately, lacked the desired airy char and crackle, instead clinging to the palate with a damp texture. The promised avalanche of meat materialized sparsely, leaving vast expanses of cheese-laden dough yearning for their carnivorous companions. Even the pepperoni, usually a reliable hero, seemed to shrink under the spotlight, its once-crisp edges yielding to a softened state. The Kahuna pizza offered a slightly brighter note. Fresh pineapple and salty prosciutto engaged in a tango on the dough, but the choreography was decidedly off-kilter. Some bites had juicy fruit and savory ham, while others were quite bare of tapping. It was a pizza of islands, each harboring its own distinct feast, but lacking the harmonious cohesion that elevates a pizza to greatness. The fried calamari, sadly, followed the pattern of inconsistency. Overcooked and heavily salted, it resembled a forgotten treasure chest at the bottom of the sea, its once-golden rings transformed into brittle, unyielding husks. Even the alfredo sauce, offered as a potential counterpoint, couldn't redeem the situation. Its blandness simply added another layer of disappointment to the already over-seasoned affair.Cogan's Pizza North presented a curious dilemma. The potential for greatness shimmered beneath the surface, evident in the glimpses of fresh ingredients and bold flavors. However, the execution stumbled at the finish line, leaving behind a trail of missed opportunities and flavors that failed to sing in unison. Perhaps it was an off night, a culinary hiccup in the grand scheme of pizza-making.While the convenience factor remains undeniable, and the glimpses of potential linger, Cogan's North falls short of a resounding recommendation. My culinary odyssey continues, in search of a haven where crust reigns supreme, meat lovers find harmonious bounty, and calamari emerges from the fryer a golden, crispy delight. Perhaps, one day, the Meatzilla at Cogan's will truly roar its carnivorous anthem. But for now, the memory remains a cautionary tale of promise unfulfilled."
"Came here for dinner after seeing the Garden of Lights at Norfolk Botanical gardens on Wednesday 12/20/203.It was me, my sister and her boyfriend. I ordered the Open Faced Turkey sandwich with mash potatoes and fried okra. My sister got the French Dip sandwich with Fried okra and her boyfriend the Grilled Skirt steak with mash potatoes w/gravy and Fried okra. As you can see we are big fans of their fried okra lol.We sat on the bar side and our waitress was attentive and the food good. I did ask for more gravy as I felt it wasn't enough originally. I thoroughly enjoyed my food after walking in the cold it truly was a comfort dish for me.My sister and her boyfriend enjoyed their food as well. This is a great hangout that serves food after 9pm.I especially love their Azalea special pizza and greek salad usually when I come here and also their gyro. There menu has something for everyone."
"If you're looking for a new favorite sports bar, this is the place! There is minimal indoor seating but the environment is great. Some booths are even set in the bed of a truck, how cool! The outdoor seating area is set up like a backyard, equipped with cornhole, bar, TVs, and plenty of seating. The food is good (try the mozzarella sticks). Make sure to stop in on Thursday evenings for bingo, it's my favorite day."
"Great home town bar with impeccable food. The owners and staff are super nice and very accommodating if you call a head for large group requests. Like the World Cup is on and I would like to bring 30 people. They give back to the community with is awesome too. Whenever I have coworkers from out of town in the area I always take them to Footers"
"Great place to visit when attending a concert at the Scope. We like to get a jump on the crowd, park in the Brambleton lot and walk to Baxter's. Food, service, and drinks are fantastic in a large dining space with lots of friendly chatter - seat yourself and the servers will find you pretty quick."
"Service is greatFood is delishBartenders are friendlyBut I have one wishWhen I order from homeAnd you pick up the phoneDon't have me on holdFor more than 2 songsI get that it's busyI don't fuss too muchBut it's been 5 songs,Should I hang up?Don't want to be rudeBut I got a 'tudeGet out of my bedAnd make it to you!Ordering in house is good, but placing an order in advance for a pickup is nuts. They will have you on hold for 2 days. Chicken and shrimp Alfredo is amazing I'll tell you that! 4 stars for it being a sports bar"
"Virginia Beach, Virginia ---If you like watching sports on TV, you "may" like "Scotty Quixx". Nearly wall-to-wall TV's (nearly 40 of them) clutter the walls & glare at you from every direction. Located in a shopping center with free off-street parking is a plus. Unfortunately, the atmosphere of the bar itself had a "business" feel & not enough "neighborhood" feel for me.Personally, I found the bartenders to be impersonal - unless you were a customer in their elite circle. Not even a friendly smile from my bartender when I ordered OR when my beer was delivered. The customers seemed willing to interact & smile, which was a plus."Scotty Quixx" is not my kinda bar. Not liking TV or watching sports has a lot to do with it, but mostly there are too many local bars with staff that smile at all the customers, not just their pals."
"We stopped here for lunch on our way to VA Beach from DC. Tasty food; straightforward service. Decent prices. Seems to be a popular place with the locals. Overall ambience was pleasant. We would stop by again. And definitely try the fried pickles!!!"
"I went here with my family. It was awesome!Danielle was our server, and she was great! if the owner sees this, she deserves all of the praise. She was perfectly attentive, she checked up on us just the right amount, and was delightful. Thanks for such a great time! The food itself came out piping hot and fresh. We had wings, cheese curds, and fish tacos. Everything was delicious. Our cups of water were never empty, and we did not have to flag anyone down for seconds or for refills.Of note, curds are especially delightful and perfectly fried. This is a classic tavern/ bar experience. Great time."
"I've been driving by this place for years while going on base and was shocked when my friend invited me there for drinks. It used to be a place for bikers but from my understanding, it switched management back in February. It is a lounge/club now. The inside is a nice size and clean. You can also hang outside where there are more chairs/tables and corn hole. It's such a vibe. We went on a Saturday night. They played r&b and rap with a splash of Reggae. We had such a great time. We also ordered shrimp which was really good and a hookah. I had to take off a star for drinks. They were super watered down. Other than the people were nice and I will definitely be back!"
"Food was excellent. It is a little 'divey' and the smell of smoke lingers from days gone by but the food was really good! Service was friendly."
"Took my kids on a pizza date and this place is the perfect atmosphere. The turkey pepperoni pizza and speed bumps are legit!"
"The Frog... what can I say about the Frog?! It's a local watering hole and it's a good time. I mean it's got good cold beer, Jäger on the tap and I'm made in the shade. Yeah I don't drink that much but the final evening I was there we had to take an Uber. Woops! First time for everything I guess. Yes believe it or not I've never taken an Uber. Thank god for Ubers! One of the bartenders Tay (she's so sweet!) is awesome. She's super friendly and attentive. I look forward to coming back down to VA just so I can drink my beer out of my Marizah coozie. Don't ask about the name Marizah... it's an inside joke."
"This is a local Pizza spot in Norfolk. The atmosphere is a family owned establishment, that treats their guest like family. I came in on Thursday for lunch with my son and tried their lunch specials $3 burger with a $1 slice of pizza for a guest. Now That's a great deal. The service was friendly and willing to serve. A great place to meet a friend, have a drink and watch a sports game. Parking lot is located to the left of restaurant towards the back."
"Great people....amazing bar service.Maddie is wonderful and Jose in the back is great.A must stop for those coming through ocean view."
"I want to start by saying this is my second visit. My first visit was late night after a concert out past kings dominion. We called to make sure they were open, and despite closing in 30 min from when we arrived ( since they were closing early) they were kind enough to let us order anything from the appetizers that was fried. I ordered the sampler platter to try a bit of everything and it was good. We left when the vacuuming started exactly the time they said they would close. We were happy to of had food at all that night and we were done so it was fine.Yesterday mid afternoon not sure what we were in the mood for, we thought we would give this place a chance and try something from the rest of the menu. This place had a lot of patrons but we were seated right away, they had a tons of booths open and they each have a tv to watch your game on. It is quite large and it looks like a lot of sports teams here after games, as they seemed to get more large parties that 4 tops when I was there. The bar seating was very full as was the outside and the other big room to accommodate larger groups. There are a TON of tv's in this place, so definitely a great place to go watch a game, enjoy a happy hour beer and take your family if you want to as it was family friendly. Our waitress was nice and patient, we ordered jalapeño poppers since they were spicy the first time we stopped in late night ( not as much this time). Oddly our food came out about 3 min after our appetizer for some reason despite placing that order about 15 min prior. We ordered the Sports page Philly with fries, which was delicious so we took 2 orders to go. We tried the Philly wrap with fries, and it was more like a burrito which my daughter enjoyed. I tried the Buffalo chicken Cobb salad, with the extra spicy sauce. The salad was huge and fresh, I will say the items are cut up huge, so it took a while to be able to eat as you have to cut it all up for a bite. Despite that is was ok and the ranch was delicious!!! I would consider getting this again but I would ask for the sauce on the side, (it was NOT spicy) because the chicken breast was not tossed in the sauce it was drizzled on top it made the fried chicken soggy and the breading came off. We ordered soft drinks since they were on draft, but I was bummed that we were never offered or given a refill of soda (2.90 each) or water despite having empty glasses majority of the time. I don't like to ask as I want to leave an honest review of my experience. Perhaps our waitress got busy in another area because she came back to grab the to go orders, and then immediately returned to bring us to go boxes the bill and cash it out. We paid at least 10 min before the to go order arrived, and it would of been nice to of had something to drink while we were waiting.I would recommend this place if you want good affordable food, in a super casual environment where you can bring children. I would come back and grab a sandwich and fries if I was in the area."
"We were invited to do a fund raiser and the owner , staff and customers were outstanding. The bands were great and also the food"
"This was my first time eating at this restaurant. We got B.L.T, Buffalo wrap and burger. It wasn't crowded at the time we went but people seemed to go to the pool tables area."
"My favorite locals bar has been closed for a while so I decided to venture out for some good food and cheap drinks. Well, this place hit the spot! The wings are Devine and I highly recommend the go for the grill. That extra dollar is worth it. Adds the umami you're looking for. Yes, there is smoking inside. Yes, it's cheap drinks. Don't come here looking for classy, it's a dive bar. Drink your PBR Or bud in peace here. Can you bring the kids? Sure. But it's a little rough around the edges but doable. Especially outside on the large patio. Little draught list. Very simple bar drinks with reasonable prices. TVs for games!"
"This place has become our little local. Super-cold beer (Shiner Bock on tap and my TX SO is jumping for joy), they also have some amazing weeknight deals, like $20 unlimited crab leg Wednesdays, and 50c wings on Tuesdays (if I remember the night correctly). One of my fave things about Daddyo's is their calzones. They are not stingy with their fillings! Meat lovers had more meat in it than a butcher's shop.Atmosphere, decor, and service are casual. But you probably got that from the name. :)"
"Pet friendly outdoor seating. The food was very tasty. The staff were very friendly. I would definitely come back again with my dog."
"I had the jalapeno poppers and veggie Reuben sandwich. The poppers were ok but didn't come with a lot of sauce. Good portion for two people. The Reuben's patty seemed very much like the 'beyond meat' patties. In order to make this work you really need to cook them through. It was obvious that the person cooking them had never eaten one. Flavor of the sandwich was basically grease. It looked like something I would make myself after a few cocktails. The ambiance was ok - clean and inviting. Someone was playing acoustic guitar on stage which was fun. This place was way overpriced. For four beers, two burgers and the poppers it was almost 70 dollars.I would gladly pay this much if it wasn't clearly diner food quality.I wouldn't dissuade someone from coming but won't be back anytime soon."
"Hackers Bar & Grill is a fun new spot for all ages. There are golf simulators and amazing food - what more could you want? The golf simulators are a blast, regardless of your golf experience! You can play famous courses from around the world, or even a game of beer pong lol. We had a lot of fun playing a "fantasy" course. I definitely recommend making a reservation for the golf rooms to secure your spot as I'm sure they get super busy! Now, the FOOD. I'm still thinking about these nachos we got. They were SO GOOD. It was all amazing though. The pear and Brie dip, the pickle fries, the bacon wrapped figs *drool* the food here is divine and so worth a trip in even if you don't want to play golf. It's worthy in its own right! I hear they have breakfast lunch and dinner and the bar is stocked. We will certainly be back!!"
