"This place rocks! We got 2 dozen blue crabs, 3 pounds of King crab legs, fresh tuna streaks, their garlic butter and 2 bags of hush puppies. Oh, can't forget about the key lime pie! Awesome meal for the family, it was all so fresh and delicious, saving this place for future trips! I wish we found it sooner on our trip because we would have been regulars all week. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They had all the drinks and fixings you need for your meal including apparel."

"Was looking for a fast local spot to hit our craving for seafood. We called in our order and was told 10 mins. This place is located in a very run down possibly questionable strip mall as many of the storefronts were empty, glad I just went with calling them first then determining actual location. Walked in, no noticeable smell of the fryer or seafood inside - which is a huge plus. Lady at the counter was also making orders - was super friendly. We got home and our boxes were OVERFLOWING with fried goodness. We got 10 jumbo shrimp combo, 2 whiting/crab cake/shrimp/scallops/oyster combos, side of fried okra, and side of clam strips. We went all out thinking portions will be skimpy- we were soo wrong - we had plenty for a second dinner. Breading was light and mildly seasoned which compliments the seafood it incased. Whiting and shrimp were our favorite - word of caution- there were minimal micro bones, which didn't bother us, but did give me pause before letting my kids have some. The crab cake was a bit mushy in the middle and overly fried- but it has promise, it was full of crab meat and seasoned well to keep the crab profile. The hush puppies were on the sweet side and in general not my favorite thing ever - anywhere. The fries were the generic and not seasoned - if I had a choice to pass on these I would. I would however get their fried okra, these taste so fresh and not your standard fried okra you find out there prebreaded and fried."

"Eddie's Crab House is a fixture in this part of SoNo. They have been a part of the community for many years and seem to have a pretty decent following. The crabs seem a bit smaller than they used to be but they've always been delicious. The breading is just right and they're fried and seasoned beautifully with just the right amount of spiciness. You are given a choice of spicy or plain, if you choose spicy they will douse the crabs with their own sauce when they come out of the fryer. Over the years, I've only bought crabs here. The soft-shells are spectacular but kind of expensive at $10 for a pair of pretty small crabs.As I said, I've only bought crabs here (fried, steamed, soft-shell) but they do offer a lot of other fish and seafood as well. Shrimp, oysters, crab cakes, deviled crab, spot, whiting, flounder, etc... They sell sandwiches and full dinners. Available sides include fries, coleslaw, collards, baked beans, dirty rice, potato salad, rolls and cornbread. Besides the store menu they also have a full catering menu if you need to feed a crowd.This is strictly a take out restaurant, there are no tables or chairs inside or out. You just walk in, place your order (the menu is on the wall), pay and wait until it's ready. It's all business, don't expect a lot of small talk or warm fuzzies here. The only payment method Eddie's accepts is cash, they have an ATM on site if you need it. The building is old and could use a refresh, the private parking lot is pretty small but is generally adequate. If the lot is full there is usually plenty of parking at the church across the street. Ingress and egress is easy with access points in the front and rear of the parking lot. 3.5 stars rounding up to 4 for food quality and consistency."
