"Good old fashion hot dog place. The staff is super friendly. I will return for the hot dogs."
"Met a friend for lunch recently. Both of us had the meatloaf meal that came with mashed potatoes, green beans and onion rings. The plate came with two large slices of meatloaf, a very hearty portion. Everything was delicious. The green beans were cooked soft and still a great compliment. The onion rings are tasty and crispy. The staff was great checking in for drink refills at intervals that were friendly but not intrusive. The diining room is quite large and nearly full the day we were there, but noise level was not overwhelming. We easily were able to hear each other. Restaurant has its own parking lot at rear, quite large to accommodate."

"Just had the cheese burger and fries ! So good and amazing !! The food there looks so good and variety!! I am going next for the boom boom shrimp!! Thanks as the suggest from one of the worker !First time there and for sure not the last time !! They did awesome job and the staff very friendly and helpful!! Mimi, Parker, , Peyton and the staff the work there are so awesome and friendly people !! They very friendly and cool people !! Again Dare Deli definitely a place to check out and grab a bite to eat !! I will be there again especially in Sunday's before football games I found my new hamburger place !"
"We lucked into this little gem because we were really hungry, badly in need of coffee, and had a long way to go. Had to do the ol' double-U turn to get there and it was well worth it. Note: as of this time, it is a work in progress. But, what it lacks in decor is made by the gracious and chatty Maliwa, the owner. We had the best conversation while she made us soufflé and sausage with cheese on a flat bread and on a brioche bun. She cooks right in front of you and the banter was priceless. This place is far from our usual travels, but we will find a way to pass this way again."
"My boys and I had visited the original Carrot Tree back in 2012, so it was really fun to take some other family to eat lunch here. They've moved into another building, but they've got the same folks working and same menu. Our lunch was just as good as it was 10 years ago- hearty sandwiches, delicious salads and terrific desserts. The carrot cake was as good as my mom's & hers is really good. Definitely a lovely lunch spot in Yorktown!"
"Great food, great service. Old school pizza and sandwich shop vibe. I drive 45 minutes one way to dine here, it's that good."
"Ok so I have been here twice this week. lol their Philly steak sub with onions is to die for! I didn't even know that this place was over here. I stopped by on my lunch break earlier this week because I was trying to find something close by to eat. Food was prepared fairly quickly and both times it came out super fresh. They've definitely knocked my favorite Philly cheesesteak place out of my number 1 spot. I will definitely be back for a third time!! Yum!"
"We finally visited on the day of Pony Swim and were so pleasantly surprised! Same beautiful view and sweet service as the old Etta's, but the new owners have elevated everything else!It was so nice to eat a good salad with fresh tuna on a hot day. All of our appetizers were delicious and my husband loved the grilled Rockfish. Our server Raquel was attentive and delightful. They have the best view on the Island too!For visiting foodies, this is Chincoteague, not Rehoboth Beach, so understand that traditional food is what restaurants serve. The Pearl is sticking to that, but pushing the envelope with a few modern twists and more fresh vegetables, but everything is well-prepared and delicious. We will be back regularly."
"Amazing atmosphere! Amazing food ! Amazing drinks! The space is large enough that it doesn't feel crowded but has so much to do that you don't get bored. We have been here for the cocktail dinner, which was incredible! you gotta try the drinks from Robert who is a mixologist god, he creates the drinks that perfectly complement the food for the cocktail dinners. if you get a chance you need to try one here. We have also been here for weekend visits and we have never been disappointed. The chef/owner Kenny is literally one of the most down to earth and friendly person that we know. The customer service and staff are wonderful, this place is a keeper !! Keep an eye out if you get the newsletter they always have something going on here ."
"Big shoutout to Stormyblue on IG, I was scrolling through social media and found a video from her. It looked amazing so I had to give it a try. When you first walk into the door you are greeted by this lovely Korean lady. What I liked about this place is that they will let you sample the different flavors they have for the wings.I got the combo B set, 4 PC tenders, fries, dumplings, coleslaw and a can soda all for $15. Everything came out fresh and hot, the tenders were juicy and crispy."
"We were "taste-teased" over the last few years with your mobile kitchen and special menu offers. But to finally have you just across the street from work AND not having to fight the summer lines was WELL WORTH THE WAIT!! Edible.Picasso is beautiful aromatic food that is pleasing to the pallet. It is obvious that Lenore and Rocco definitely know what they're doing and they love what they do."
"Fresh and great tasting sushi. Made to order. The service was quick and respectful and very knowledgeable of the menu. The plating was beautiful. The ambiance is relax and causal. Will definitely come back here again."

Team lunch here and it was great. Nice atmosphere. I did know it was back in that neighborhood. Service was fast and impeccable. I had the salmon, shrimp and grits. I don't eat grits so I got rice. I know who orders a grits dish and doesn't eat grits....ME!The salmon was cooked to perfection. Delicious. The shrimp and sausage were good as well. I thought it needed a little more sausage but the salmon made up for anything it was lacking in. The only negative was the table we were seated at. It was broken like a sea saw. One side up and one side down but it didn't fall. All in all if I could give a 4.5 I would. Keep up the good work and great food.

We decided to stop based on the one review. We ordered the egg, sausage and cheese on flatbread and a custom Caesar salad. Both were fresh and delicious and we plan to hit it on our travels when on this road. It's very easy to get on and off the highway. The interior is a work in progress as the previous reviewer said. They plan to add an outdoor seating area, too. I hope she does well!

I ordered a Philly Cheesesteak. It was very good. I also ordered a lasagna with a side salad for my husband. The salad was very good. They loaded it with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese. Yummy. Now my husband was not a fan of the lasagna. He said it was more cheese than meat sauce. It could have been better. I went on a Thursday night. It was very busy. Service was fast, it was not a quiet place during the time we went

I was STARVING! But I was also stuck at work, and I remembered I had a DoorDash gift card. So I was perusing DoorDash, and I came across this new sub place that I have never heard of before. By the pictures I had great expectations of an amazing experience, and Boy! Oh! Boy! Did Super Extreme Heroes ever deliver! I got the Philly cheesesteak, no veggies, add hot pepper relish. I normally would get veggies, with oil and vinegar but I wasn't sure how well they would travel since I was having this delivered-- I didn't want the veggies to wilt and affect my experience. The sandwich arrived early in great condition, and for a sandwich that was literally just meat, cheese and hot pepper relish. It was FANTASTIC! So good!! The quality of meat, the flavor and seasonings were clearly there, and they did not skimp on the cheese. This was hands-down the best cheesesteak I've ever had in this area, PERIOD!!Now, understand, I am a cheesesteak connoisseur, and it is VERY HARD to beat D'Alessandro's in Philadelphia, but for this area, my go to cheesesteak options are typically Fat Phillies, Jersey, Mike's, Philly Cold Cuts, and occasionally Philly Steaks on Tidewater Drive in Norfolk IYKYK :-). As of right now, Super Extreme Heroes is about to replace them all. I literally just had this yesterday and I'm giving it serious thought for dinner tonight again as well. But I think I want my next experience to be in the restaurant, so that I can order my cheesesteak the way I normally order it... All the way... Extra oil and vinegar. If you haven't tried this place, do not hesitate. I plan on going there at least Every other week so I can work my way through the menu. They have some amazing looking items on their menu.

"Yall! 5 stars doesn't go out easily for me but this place is a gem! It is fancy, no. In fact you may drive right past the place if you wernt looking for it. But it's one of those hidden gem spots with absolutely incredible food. We got the Chicken Satay appetizer. The peanut sauce that came with it was on point! We got 3 items to share, Red Chicken Curry, Coconut chicken soup and Drunken Noodles. Legit all three were so friggen good! The depth of flavors is on point. My husband asked for his to be Thai hot and it wasn't but they never really believe he means it. It likes it to be hotter than Thai hot. He puts Thai peppers on every meal, I am not joking. So luckily they give you the spice rack you can spice it up yourself. The Chili oil is so freaking good and has fried garlic crunch in it! Literally everything was wonderful. The server was so sweet. The owners daughter I'm guessing even came to take our drink order and actually gave my husband tips on her favorite items. We have added this place to our list favorites in NC!!!"
"Hands down the best pizza in the area. I went to school on long island and this is the closest you can get to thin crust pizza reminiscent of the area. Great flavorful and seasonal selections, a curated wine and beer menu, and the best garlic knots in the area. The star is the process - the pizza is cooked to perfection every single time, no matter the toppings. The homemade ranch is also worth the splurge. Don't miss out on Lo Mo!"
"Last night a friend brought us two pizzas from Salty Dog and they were fantastic ... the Pepperoni was classic and the other one we had, The Moon, had pesto, tomatoes and pine nuts and Canadian bacon. They were fantastic!!!!"
"One word can describe my dinner at Yiannis tonight, DELICIOUS! I order the calamari and they came out steaming hot , so yummy! The sauce to dip the calamari had big chunks of tomato! For my main I got the gyro with salad. I ate every single bite! The tzatziki sauce was plentiful, the meat perfect. Okay, the onion rings had this delicious batter that it was cooked in, such a treat. I couldn't help myself, ended my meal with a sweet sweet cannoli. This place is Family owned, owner is amazing and friendly! The place is organized and clean. Spacious and there are a few TVs which I saw people enjoy. Greek music is poppin! The food and staff at Yiannis are the best!"
"I must say, I have zero brows raised at this place.I visit about twice a month, because my daughter loves the Honey Old Bay Wings - all flats to be exact. You can very well order all flats, but there is a slight up charge. One day, I had to try these wings, because she says they are the best... well - after a few tries, I must say, they are quite tasty!I usually visit about 3pm and the crowd is super light. Either a guest or two are in front of me, or someone or two are dining in.I believe the orders are made to order, so once I order her kids meal (comes with fries and a drink) which is about $11 and some change, it takes about 10 minutes for the order to be ready for pick up.My daughter tried the Mango Peach Drink and Sweet Tea mixed last time and she loved it!If you are in the area, check them out. They have way more to offer than wings, but hence the name of the business, they stand by their name.Plenty of parking. But if you are pressed for time, call in your order. You may still have a wait, but it shouldn't be as long.Have fun, be safe and enjoy life :)"
"Great Stromboli. The pizza doesn't seem to taste like NY pizza to me but it's ok. The Building itself could use a little pick me up but overall it's good."
"Loved the atmosphere and cool vibe. The food was really good and the servers were very attentive. Will be back!"
"This is hands down the best pizza on my area (lynnhaven salem area).I admit I used to be a Bella customer at Salem crossing but they changed some things up and I had to move on. I discovered Sal'z and I absolutely love it. Pizza is awesome! If you like a traditional NY pizza. This is it! Oh and the staff is amazing! Check em out"
"Enjoy coming here for a quick lunch. I often get the pick 2 : chicken Caesar salad and soup. I either get the lobster bisque or broccoli cheddar soup and are always delicious! I've had ordered the she-crab soup one time and was somewhat disappointed. I was not expecting it to be a manhattan style base not cream-based like what I'm used to. Staff were always welcoming and friendly. I like that there were plenty of seats if you want to dine in. The place is spacious and clean. If you ordered a fountain drink, then it's nice to help yourself to a refill if you want to before you go! I would highly recommend this place."
"Great white pizza. Service people always seem confused. Maybe it's me. Every time I go they give me that look like why are you here? Um I'm the customer here to pick up my order. Duh?"
"My husband and I have been coming to this friendly place since we were teenagers. The atmosphere is beautiful, makes you feel like you're dining in Italy. The food is out of this world with huge portions. It tastes so authentic & worth every penny. My husband & I usually split the tortellini & add shrimp & chicken to it."
"A nice surprise at Historic Jamestown. The staff was very nice and helpful. The fare is basically sandwiches and a small side. My husband had the roast beef special and I had the Brie Melt. Both were excellent. It started to rain while were were there so we split a caramel brownie and went out on the covered porch to watch the ferry go back and forth while we waited for the rain to pass. I did not expect to find food this good at Historic Jamestown."
"Awesome pizza and service! Chase was friendly professional clean and upbeat! I will be back to this location! 5star"
"Always have a great experience here. Very rarely do we end up having to wait long. Their Carne Asada is delicious! Their Seafood Chimichangas are good as well. Their chips and salsa are hit or miss. Sometimes they are fresh and hot , other times a little stale. Drinks are always cold! We love when we get Isaac as our server. Always friendly and on top of things !"
"Ambiance--The set up is Grown and sexy lounge vibe with good musicService--We were able party of 10 and arriving 1 hour before closing and they welcomed us and the service was phenomenal. The owner and the chef came out to see how everything was Food--The food was great and the presentation was great as well. Although the vibe is bar like but the food served is top tier because my Rasta Pasta was top tier!! We had absolutely no complaints. We will come back on Karaoke Wednesday night!!"
"Great place. Really relaxed and the vibes are great. Staff is friendly. Been a number of times and will be coming back."
"We had the hush puppies, southern boil, and chef's selection (flat iron risotto). Everything was spectacular! Our waiter was very attentive and did a great job ensuring our date night was a success. We'll definitely return!"
"I went here one day to grab a quick salad as walked away with some pretty almond glazed shortbread cookies too. The field greens salad was great! It comes with spring mix lettuce, dried cranberries, onions, feta, avocado, almonds, a side of chicken salad, and the most delicious onion vinaigrette. I think it's homemade. The chicken salad has dill, which was a nice complement to the salad. The lady who took my order was Momo's mom. She was very pleasant. They also sell pastries and jewelry. The layout has several tables, and plenty of places to sit."
"Anya Thai Cuisine, the new kid on the 12,000 block of Warwick Boulevard, Newport News, has it going on! The space has a chill Asian vibe, broad authentic menu, warm and hospitable hosts and servers and can prepare your food as Thai Spicy as you like it. We stopped in last Friday night for a family feast. Anya checked off all the boxes:1. We shared Summer Rolls (4 per order). They were soft wrapped with fresh shrimp, cabbage and pork, with house made peanut dipping sauce. Excellent.2. We next split two bowls of Tom Kha Soup with four flat bottom spoons. The coconut milk, veggies, mushroom, langyel spice and chicken were likewise a taste sensation. Both were terrific appetizers. 3. As was the Thai Calamari with sweet/sour dipper. Crunchy with mild chew from beginning to end. We then went our separate ways with individual entrees. My Drunken Noodles (Thai Spicy) were delicious, and the lemongrass made my nose run as expected. So too, the Pad See Ew, which while the heat profile was tame, still captured the taste buds without remorse. The Best Ginger Stir Fry was a near revelation to my sister, who sucked it down without offering a taste to anyone. All she could say was, "I didn't know ginger was so amazing." She repeated this chant into the next morning. The Garlic Stir fry caused a similar reaction from my spouse, who at least let me sample from her bowl. I concurred. Even the small candy that accompanied the check was so remarkable that we returned the next day to ask where they had purchased this coffee jujube so we could buy some. Anya was pleasantly surprised by our appearance, and was able to advise where she found them. We ended up buying out the entire supply at Farm Fresh International Market. That doesn't happen every day!"
"Delicious and affordable. Portions are big! I love the onion rings. The fried fish sandwich is amazing, few bones left in but it was still good. Their bbq is good if you like the vinegar based kind- I don't but for that kind it's good. It gets very busy around lunch but you can always call in and they deliver. Staff is always very friendly as well! For a cheap fried food, burger place, its great. I am not a fan of their wraps though but I would still come back if I have a southern sandwich craving."
"Beautiful traditional Thai restaurant. Prices were good and food was decent. We ordered fresh spring rolls with shrimp, pad see ew with beef and red curry with tofu. The spring rolls were delicious and the dipping sauce was excellent. Lunch came with a small side salad and a fried spring roll. That was basic but also pretty good. The pad see ew noodles were overcooked and a little gelatinous but still tasted good. The red curry was a little overly salty but still flavor was nice and the tofu was perfectly lightly fried. There is a lot of good Thai food in the area. I would come back but this wouldn't be my first choice."
"The HoneySuckle Cafe opened this past August in the North Colley (NOCO) neighborhood of Norfolk, tucked and hidden from view behind the 7-11 at the intersection of Colley Avenue and 39th Street. As soon as you turn onto 39th Street behind the 7-11, a large house comes into view on the left, directly across from the Stevens Roofing Company Building. This house is the site of the HoneySuckle Cafe.I was told that the house is 104 years old. Based upon what I read elsewhere, the owners, Susan and Ross Fetterly, spent three years building their kitchen. It shows through the love and passion they pour into their food.Their web site describes their cafe as primarily a "Carry Out Cafe." During my last visit, I also counted four tables and a total of 14 seats for their dine-in customers. There is also a small table for 2 out on their front porch. The vibe is warm and cozy, highlighted by the visual display of various paintings adorning their walls that are for sale. The owners and staff members are warm and friendly as well, making it a happy place.I have tried the following dishes to date:CHICKEN NOODLE SOUP: This was their Soup Du Jour offered during one entire week. This one was a delight and warmed my insides with its delicious homemade flavors. My Rating: 5 Stars.CHICKEN & MATZO BALL SOUP: This was their Soup Du Jour during another week and was another winner. The Matzo Ball was huge and exhibited a nice delicate texture. The chicken and its broth were divinely delicious. My Ratng: 5 Stars.JERK CHICKEN BURRITO: This was a jumbo-sized burrito that was cut in two, stuffed with Marinated and Grilled Chicken with Creamy Mac & Cheese and Brown Butter Sauteed Cabbage. This was a special addition and their Sando of The Week, which was not listed on their regular menu. The flavors came through beautifully, leaving me happy and stuffed. My Rating: 5 Stars.TURKEY CHORIZO BREAKFAST BURRITO: This was a special addition to their Brunch menu, consisting of House Made Turkey Chorizo, Sazon Hashbrowns, Folded Egg, Black Beans, Spring Mix, and Sofrito. This was another jumbo-sized burrito cut into two halves. The ingredients exploded with flavor and left me stuffed. I was only able to eat one of the halves and took the rest home for another meal. My Rating: 5 Stars.SALMON AVOCADO BAGEL: This is a regular listing from their Brunch menu, consisting of Smoked Salmon Lox, Avo Mash, Red Onion, Fried Caper, Tomato, Asian Collard Slaw, and Charred Chive Cream Cheese. This one delivered an awesome taste experience as the flavors of all of its different ingredients exploded like fireworks inside my mouth all at once. My Rating: 5 Stars.NOCO PASTRAMI: House Pastrami, Fresh Kraut, Deli Mustard, Baby Swiss, and Rye. This one is listed as one of their regular sandwiches and is one of the chef's favorite creations.Their pastrami is house-made and was tender and delicious. The Fresh Kraut and Rye Bread are made from a local caterer. This one lived up to its reputation for a stellar taste experience. My photo only shows one of its two halves. My Rating: 5 Stars. They also offer a special French Toast addition for their Brunch menu each week. I am kicking myself for missing their Ube French Toast during a recent weekend. I am drooling as I wait for its return and was told it will.Everything I have tried so far has earned a 5-star rating. Combined with the passion, hospitality, and friendly service from their owners and staff members, this review comes out to a slam dunk 5-star rating. I am eagerly looking forward to my future visits."
"This place is soooooo gooood! The staff was so nice and welcoming! I let the lady at the front know it was my first time there and she gave awesome suggestions and answered all my questions about the menu items. Thank you for your patience! I had the stuffed wings and the eggroll sampler. I loved all of it my fav was the chicken philly and the regular philly eggroll! If you are in the area this is a must try! When I return I am going to try the waffle burger and the black eyed pea burger!"
