"Great service, great atmosphere, great food. Worth a visit! I really enjoyed everything that I ordered."
"As I was craving ramen on a Wednesday evening, I decided to venture out and try Kappo Nara Ramen since I saw nothing but great reviews about this place. I was seated right away and given a menu...after a few minutes, I knew exactly what I wanted to order lol. Janelle, my amazing server, assisted me in choosing a green tea so I decided on the Mango Green Tea, which was refreshing and thankfully not too sweet. For starters, I decided on the Rice Balls which were filled with cooked salmon, covered with rice, wrapped in seaweed and formed in a triangular shape! The Rice Ball was very filling and since I wanted to enjoy my ramen, I only ate one. I chose the Spicy Miso Ramen which had a miso base with pork broth and chili oil. It included boiled eggs, bean sprouts, bamboo, spicy ground pork, scallions and seaweed. I added a slice of pork belly as well! Absolutely delicious! 10/10!!! The ramen noodles were cooked perfectly and the soup broth was savory and rich with flavor. The bamboo added some texture and a slight sweetness and the pork belly slice was the perfect addition. I literally ate the entire bowl!!! I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at Kappo Nara Ramen and absolutely loved the vibe this restaurant gave. From the soft R&B music playing in the background to being able to view all of the Polaroids lined up on the walls of previous customers enjoying their ramen, I will definitely be returning. My server, Janelle, was also amazing and I loved that we had a chance to chat, she was super sweet. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for amazing ramen and good vibes."

"Back for round 2 with the family and they didn't disappoint! Gyoza and edamame were delicious. Gyoza by far is the best we've had in America. We are Ramen snobs as well after being in Japan for 5 years so trust us when we say ITS YUMMY. I had the red miso, which is their spiciest. On a scale from 1-5, 5 being spiciest I'd say it's a 2. But it was delicious!Service was quick and very accommodating. This is now our goto spot! If you want authentic Japanese tasting Ramen, this is the spot."
"Ordered the sashimi deluxe, 16 pieces of sashimi for $30, it was fantastic and they bring out their rolls and sashimi on these wooden staircases for presentation. It's a work of art! Service was great and quick, the food takes a little bit but it's always hot so it wasn't sitting in the kitchen. The ambiance is quiet and they have room for larger parties in the back.I'm glad I found this place, will definitely be going back."
"This place is close to my job so I'll try to come here on my lunch breaks. They have great lunch deals. I believe most of it was under $15. Their spicy ramen bowl is sooooo good. I've probably ordered it about 3-4x. If you like spicy and lots of flavor. I definitely recommend it. I can't remember the exact name, sry! The staff is always nice when I've visited. The place is always clean when as well. Nice place to grab a quick lunch with friends or whoever."
"I read this is a really delicious ramen place up in Hampton / Newport News. It's in a big shopping center by a Wawa. Easy to find! Close to 664 and 64. It's got an okay amount of seating. You could probably get one large party in there but you'll be taking up most of the place. You pay by credit card.I ordered the miso ramen! Really good. I like the broth. Tons of corn which I really enjoyed. The charchu was cut thick. A little bit of a Chinese flavor more than a Japanese flavor but who am I to complain? It was a nice big bowl of ramen. I was pretty happy with it. What I really enjoyed is at the table, they have garlic and chili oil. So no complaints there! Food came out fast and it was pretty good! I don't remember seeing the kids menu but I do remember seeing appetizers and some other Japanese selectables. They have beer! Didn't get to enjoy because technically, I was still on the clock! Definitely worth stopping in."
"The best ramen spot in all of Hampton Roads! If you're looking for incredible food, top-tier customer service, and an unbeatable dining experience, this place is a must-visit. They've got boba, mouthwatering appetizers, and the gyoza is absolutely to die for. Everything on the menu is delicious, but the fried chicken cutlet is a standout--add it to any ramen, and you'll never look back. Don't forget to capture the moment with a group photo! It's such a fun touch, and you get to leave your mark on their wall."
"Really tasty ramen on a cold day. Staff was friendly. Wasn't super busy and food took longer than I would have liked to arrive at table but it was good food so no real issues."

Alkaline has been on my bucket list for YEARS, and I'm thrilled to finally check it off. First, the yuzu lager on draft was delicious. For our meals, husband ordered the beef noodle soup and I went with triple garlic katsu ramen. Both were full of flavor and richness. We swapped bowls a few times because they were equally delicious. We ordered the miso butter cake for dessert, which was excellent. The caramel sauce and candied pecans really set it off. Our server was very friendly, and the playlist was enjoyable. We'll be back!

'Twas the night before Thanksgiving and Ramen was on the menu! There was quite a bit of a wait, which told me that the food would be worth it! It took a little time to receive service after sitting, but the place was busy. This gave us a chance to study the menu options and look at some of the pictures on the wall. I love a place that celebrates their customers, and using Polaroids to capture the moment is such a cool idea. We definitely added to the collection! The tables were pretty close together so private conversations probably wouldn't work but it's great for socializing! The food came out in a decent amount of time. We had the veggie ramen, chicken teriyaki and egg rolls. All were tasty, by my veggie ramen could've used more flavor. Overall it was a great experience!

Came for lunch with some friends, and found a decent Ramen spot. Overall if I could I'd give it a 3.5 star review, but I round up. The ramen was good, the broth was spicy, but not as spicy as I thought it'd be. The beef had a good, unique flavor that prevented the bowl from being monotonous. I'm not a fan of the soup spoon. It looks cool but isn't very user friendly. Service was fast and friendly. Overall a solid Ramen spot if you're in the area.

Great freshly prepared lunch with Great service. I chose to take a zoom call here. I sat at a quiet 2 top table at the window to people watch since the zooms are always..meahhh. Simple salad with sesame ginger dressing to start, followed by Salmon rolls and tuna rolls. Service was quick and courtesy. My sushi was made fresh with great bites of raw fish. This is my go-to when I'm having an extended day at work.

Was in the mood for ramen and yelp led me here! I love the vibes of this place. Polaroids of customers surround the walls and they were playing 90s/2000s hip hop and r&b. I loved it! We got the fried gyoza to start which were nothing out of the ordinary but still good. Now for the ramen...it definitely hit the spot and this is what I came for! I got the spicy miso ramen with all the toppings. The kick was just right and the broth was delicious. They also do military discount which was great!

I travel to Japan for work pretty often. There's so much that Kappo Naro Ramen gets right about Japanese cuisine but the most important is the ability to come in on a cold winter night and get the most savory comfort food available at a great price. From the entryway, you're greeted with a cozy atmosphere and friendly staff. The menu is full of Japanese classics and ramen, this visit we got classic bowls - beef and fried pork cutlet. Both were superb and perfect for this cold night - and importantly authentic to their comfort food nature, uncompromising on flavor. Id be remiss to not mention the great portions and the ice cold side salad served before our mains - complimentary with a rice dish. So good! Can't recommend the place highly enough!

The seafood ramen was delicious! Super full of squid, scallops, & shrimp. If you like calamari the squid on a stick is great!

"We stopped by Osaka for the first time today and I am so happy we did. Service was amazing and so was the food. Probably some of the best ramen I've had here! I got the shoyu ramen and the broth & pork chasu was SOOO incredibly flavorful. My toddler and I could not get enough. I also ordered a Christmas tree roll and that did not disappoint either! Can't wait to come back and try some more items. 10/10 Definitely recommend"
"The pork ramen was tasty and a large potion. I liked how the to go order was done, keeping everything separate from the broth."
"This place is BOMB DOT COM! A friend booked us a karaoke booth back in November and there were about 10 of us which the staffs were able to accommodate us. It is a smaller place than others but their karaoke booth was awesome. Very high tech, and I love the 2 screens where you can see the lyrics in front of you (the back wall) while the people sitting down can see the screen at the front. I love the mini stage they have which has a 3rd mic stand. You can even have your friends as a back up singer!! The food they serve seals the deal for me! The sushi tastes so good and their cocktails are amazing! We had so much and enjoyed the food they serve that we don't even wanna leave. The pricing for booking a booth was at a reasonable price which you can split with your friends. This place is perfect if you wanna have fun and unwind after a long week. Let out all your energy and enjoy your night! We'll definitely be back and spread the words"
"Was it to good to be true.. another poke spot?! of course, I had to get my sneak peak of this hot and new restaurant. Honestly, these boba and ramen places are popping up like flies.. This one is located at College Park Square.Beautiful and eye catching is how i'd first describe the place as I walked in. There are many tables to sit in. The place is brand spankin new and clean. The kiosk where u order your meals, fit the fast casual theme. Touch screen ordering makes it convenient.. but I still had to ask several questions so I could better understand what I was ordering at the menu. I approached the counter to order. She reverted me back to the touch pads.. as their only system of ordering. She was the only worker there to man the food handling station and the register. She was sweet.. After a glance of the poke menu, I decided to go with the medium bowl that has 3 protein options and sidea and my friend got the seafood ramen. We ordered at the touch pad and had it printed and paid at the front register so we could claim ourselves a military discount. The ramen came out in a timely manner.. so did my friends boba. My poke came a little longer than normal.Upon sharing, the first glimpse of the seafood ramen bowl looked familiar. It looked appetizing, but it was missing the steam that usual comes out when u have a hot bowl of ramen. I was a little disappointed in the temperature but I still kept on eating. The egg had a nice yolk to it. I was not sure why the yolk was browner in color than what I'm used to. But it still tasted good and it wasn't over cooked. The soup contained fish cake slices, green onions, crab stick and the little shrimps. I give it 2.5stars on flavor and presentation. The poke bowl, I ordered salmon, tuna and (spicy)tuna tataki with the sushi rice. I was impressed by the flavor of the poke sauce. The garnishes and toppings included were: edamame, cucumber, masago, crab meat, furikake, greenonion and cilantro. First bite.. the fish was more chewy than normal. It had a fishy flavor that did not go so well going down my throat. Ugh.. I wasn't sure if I was being o early critical but boy it wasn't at all fresh. I gave it to my girlfriend to try. She too found the poke unappetizing... I felt unhaplg knowing we both only had a few nibbles of a not so flavorful poke. It lacked freshness, and it needed some salt and maybe more time of marinating. The cuts of fish were no good. I ended up returning the poke to get a refund. No stars for the poke. The boba, my friend and her almond flavored boba was good. The coconut in it was rough but the boba was prepared well. Sadly, she found some piece of *PLasTic.... in her boba as she went to consume it. A quarter away of drinking and already leaving the restaurant left us even more disappointed with minus a star to the restaurant.Overall they scored at 2.5 in stars. Forappearance 4, quality 1, cleanliness 3 (due to plastic in boba), taste 2."
"I go to the nail salon next door and wanted to try this. We decided to go here on a date night and the place was pretty empty. They did have a lot of to go orders coming in and out. We were seated quickly and ordered. The food came out so quick and was hot/fresh. The staff was so friendly and answered any questions we had. The food was flavorful and delicious. We had leftovers to take home too. We had two adult beverages too and they were strong! So we liked them a lot. Def would return back here."
"The spicy ramen was my favorite here. The other ramens lacked flavor. Tasted bland. The sushi was fine. I've had better ramen in my lifetime for sure. I did appreciate the fact that they were relatively new to the area and appeared to be clean. I hope they keep things as clean as possible. I'm so sick and tired of seeing gross restaurants in this region."
"Poke bowl prices keep going up. The service is good, as are the portions, but the new owners raised the prices since rebranding from Domoshi to Molly Ramen."
"Delicious Ramen tucked away in a shopping center. Finding this place is worth the food! There are so many menu options and plenty of parking for large groups. Service was amazing and friendly. Will definitely visit again."
"This is my go to Poke Bowl place in Town Center. They do have a lot of other locations but because i live near by, this is my spot. Every time I order the quality is always consistent and soooo yummy. They always give you so much toppings and its just delish! The service & the vibe is cute. I got my food for take out and it was quick and fast! Word of advice: if youre doing pick up, order on the website ahead of time."
"I'm giving them 3 stars as their poke bowls and boba tea are good. however, steer clear of the sushi, or at least the salmon rolls. The rice they used is not seasoned, tastes like mush, and the soy sauce they have might as well be dyed water for the amount of flavor you get. Seriously, if you want sushi, go next door to Harris Teeter and grab some as I guarantee it will taste better."
