"If you find yourself in our fair city, I highly suggest to visit without a doubt Aloha Snacks. Not only for 1 reason. There are several.1. The food. It's been a hot second since the last time I have been to Hawaii. Hubby went to meet his west coast team (most lived Hawaii) and a childhood friend of mine that lives out there now. 2. Aloha Snacks creator got his inspiration from his honeymoon. Chef Jesse competed against Bobby Flay in Beat Bobby Flay. In which Jesse won. I must say, with my kid being a fan of the show. 3. And bringing the west coast foods to the east coast. 4. Funky, fun and relaxed vibe here. In my humble opinion, this place has brought awesome west coast vibes to the east coast. The food here is phenomenal give it a try........"
"Mr. Boil has been a go-to for Sophia and myself for years ever since they opened up shop. In the past, I ordered crawfish boil combos but since switched to fried baskets. Recently, we ordered takeout via online. Easy as always. And within 15 minutes, they were ready for pickup.Botb of us ordered fried oyster baskets (hers with fried corn on the side and a side order of onion rings and mine with sweet potato fries and a side of onion rings). This meal made yours truly full for the night. They did not skip on any amount. But I would say some of the food needed some seasoning, especially the sweet potato fries. But I had condiments to cover for the loss.Even though it lacked with seasoning, the food was good enough. These guys are very reliable when it comes to their product. You betcha we'll order again soon enough :)"
"Food was awesome !! Fajita Pita with avocado 4/5 a little on the spicy side North Pole Bowl 5/5 my sister suggested removing the mango and adding strawberries Shrimp taco 4/5 this was a week special I love the vibes the art is amazing and a cool way to support local artists. The employees are so nice and helpful I really appreciate great customer service.I would definitely recommend if you are interested in a more healthy temptation. So if you find yourself downtown Norfolk definitely check it out !!!"
"I called to place a pickup order for a dozen lumpia, and I planned to pick them up by 2:45 on a Saturday (they close at 3). I ended up not getting there until around 3:10, so I called when I realized I was gonna be majorly late. They ever so graciously held my lumpia for me and let me in the locked door to buy them. The lumpia tasted delicious, and now I have a go to spot for lumpia in the OV area.Great customer service, and I appreciated them being so gracious with me! Highly recommend."
"I was looking for some good food that isn't greasy fast food. I saw Poketastic on Yelp and decided to check it out. That was a great decision! I got the toasted salmon bowl over white rice. There's a disclaimer saying it takes about 10 minutes for the toasted bowl. It's worth the wait, the salmon was delicious! I asked to add seaweed salad to my bowl because I love it. The mango in the bowl was so ripe and juicy. I need to know their secret! I liked that the rice stuck together a bit. It was easier to get with chopsticks. All the food looked super fresh, too! I'd definitely return again."
"Was it to good to be true.. another poke spot?! of course, I had to get my sneak peak of this hot and new restaurant. Honestly, these boba and ramen places are popping up like flies.. This one is located at College Park Square.Beautiful and eye catching is how i'd first describe the place as I walked in. There are many tables to sit in. The place is brand spankin new and clean. The kiosk where u order your meals, fit the fast casual theme. Touch screen ordering makes it convenient.. but I still had to ask several questions so I could better understand what I was ordering at the menu. I approached the counter to order. She reverted me back to the touch pads.. as their only system of ordering. She was the only worker there to man the food handling station and the register. She was sweet.. After a glance of the poke menu, I decided to go with the medium bowl that has 3 protein options and sidea and my friend got the seafood ramen. We ordered at the touch pad and had it printed and paid at the front register so we could claim ourselves a military discount. The ramen came out in a timely manner.. so did my friends boba. My poke came a little longer than normal.Upon sharing, the first glimpse of the seafood ramen bowl looked familiar. It looked appetizing, but it was missing the steam that usual comes out when u have a hot bowl of ramen. I was a little disappointed in the temperature but I still kept on eating. The egg had a nice yolk to it. I was not sure why the yolk was browner in color than what I'm used to. But it still tasted good and it wasn't over cooked. The soup contained fish cake slices, green onions, crab stick and the little shrimps. I give it 2.5stars on flavor and presentation. The poke bowl, I ordered salmon, tuna and (spicy)tuna tataki with the sushi rice. I was impressed by the flavor of the poke sauce. The garnishes and toppings included were: edamame, cucumber, masago, crab meat, furikake, greenonion and cilantro. First bite.. the fish was more chewy than normal. It had a fishy flavor that did not go so well going down my throat. Ugh.. I wasn't sure if I was being o early critical but boy it wasn't at all fresh. I gave it to my girlfriend to try. She too found the poke unappetizing... I felt unhaplg knowing we both only had a few nibbles of a not so flavorful poke. It lacked freshness, and it needed some salt and maybe more time of marinating. The cuts of fish were no good. I ended up returning the poke to get a refund. No stars for the poke. The boba, my friend and her almond flavored boba was good. The coconut in it was rough but the boba was prepared well. Sadly, she found some piece of *PLasTic.... in her boba as she went to consume it. A quarter away of drinking and already leaving the restaurant left us even more disappointed with minus a star to the restaurant.Overall they scored at 2.5 in stars. Forappearance 4, quality 1, cleanliness 3 (due to plastic in boba), taste 2."
"I decided to do a build your own so I could pick and choose a little bit of everything. I went with the Spring greens but I don't think there's a wrong move for the base. I picked 2 proteins (Spicy Tuna & Salmon) and started having them load up all the mix-ins. Plenty of options and toppings too, they even offered to let me taste the sauce options, which really does help with decision making. The ingredients are fresh, flavorful and I think this might be the best Spicy Tuna in the area; spicy enough to have a tingle but doesn't overpower the flavor of the fish. Most Poke places in the area aren't spicy enough, IMHO. Both the guys behind the counter were friendly and quick. There was also a steady stream of people walking in for carry out orders. On the fence? Try it, you need Poke Sushi Bowl in your life."

This lately has been my go to spot working out at the Oceanfront. Tucked hidden away across from the BP gas station on Laskin Rd and Baltic is this gem of a restaurant. The menu has a good mix of Hawaiian favorites like loco moco, spam musubi, and poke. While also introducing a fusion of new favorites like Bulgogi cheesteak, Banh mi burger, Korean fried Chx wrap, and Collard noodles. I've had the pleasure of trying a few of these entrees already as I have been here a few times. Each and every time has been a deliciously new experience. For instance, that Korean friend chicken wrap introduces Kimchi, fried chicken, and a gochujang glaze which gives it a unique bit spicy, a bit funky, salty and savory taste. There is really nothing like it that I have tasted before. My absolute go to item on the menu. The server there Olivia is so nice and helpful especially if you're not sure what to order. The inside of the restaurant has a nice chill vibe to it that is a great representation of what the Oceanfront represents. Reasonable pricing and the ability to order through drive thru is a plus! This is the place to be!

Staff is wonderful! Matt and Britt up front are so sweet and Kitchen manager, Windsor, knows her stuff! We love this place. They rotate local artwork (that you can buy if you want) on the walls so there's always new things to look at. They have a couple of card games as well. Indoor and outdoor seating with a great little patio out back. The music there is always new and fun (staff makes playlists). The food is great! Poke bowls are good sizes and there is a lot of variety to make edits however you'd like.. Love their coffees and matcha tea too. The smoothies are good, but the orange creamsicle one always needs a bit more orange so keep that in mind when ordering :)There is also a Chesapeake and Virginia Beach location, however, I have never been to those. Just an FYI

First time here and I'm pretty sure that's it for me. I had the poke and it was ok but I could have gotten that anywhere poke is sold.Hubby had the traditional meal, he had the pancit and the chicken adobo. His dish had a super super long brown dark hair, sadly for him the hair was already in his mouth when he realized it. So gross, that really ended lunch pretty quickly.

Came here on a date, ramen and everything we ordered looked good and tasted great. Although I'm not a huge ramen fan because of my college days, it was still good. We got ramen, a volcano roll, and gyoza. If your a ramen fan I would give this place a try.

The foundation of poke is the best-quality fresh raw fish topped with zesty and sweet sauces, good add ons, and a variety of different toppings. My boyfriend and I did a build your own and it had a good portion of fish and rice/veggies. The spicy mayo sauce was really good and the shoyu sauce really added to the complexity of the poke bowl. We're definitely coming back.

Yum yum yum If you have never had a poke bowl I encourage you to try it! It is like the IKEA of sushi lol it's all deconstructed in a chipotle type bowl You go through the list and check off what you want then they make it just like that I like that you can get as many toppings as you like I like the poke tuna a lot it is fresh and not too fishy The staff are super sweet here and even sell handmade jewelry The layout is simple with a vacation theme and has a nice feel to it I love the food here and always have leftovers

"OK so I have wanted to try this place for a long time. They had you take the menu and circle what you want. I guess because Covid it's just easier to have it circle and know exactly what the customer wants vs trying to yell it over the counter. The place has a similar set up to a subway/chipolte where you have all the toppings and decide what you want. I hadn't been there before so I got a bowl off the menu that had things on it already that go well together. It was a spicy tuna bowl.. it has a lot of things.. again I'm not super familar with it all but I would definitely go back to try more. The tuna was sooo good! It had pineapple on there too. I would have never chose to have that together but it really worked!"
"Tried this place out and was very happy I did. Easy parking. Friendly folks. Relaxing vibe and comfy seating. Big check marks!I even spotted some board games while waiting for my order. After looking at previous Yelp reviews, i decided on the Build your own pita regular over brown rice with spicy tuna, spicy house, cucumber, lettuce, and green onions. I got the sauce on the side, but I won't do that next time cause it was so good. 10 out of 10 for me.I also tried the PB banana honey sandwich. Tbh, I got it just in case I didn't like Pita, but it just ended up being an extra treat!I plan on stopping by again...soon...like today! That is all."
"Fresh ingredients, super clean store, decent portions. The highlight was the hot tuna roll. The poke bowls were good, too, but I'd probably just order a selection of rolls the next time I visit!"
"My daughter and I stopped by Ouka Sora since we'd been wanting to try this place for a while. I'd seen others post about the Sakura Burrito so I had to order that while my daughter ordered the Chicken Chow Mein with no cabbage. We also ordered Dirty Sugar Black Milk Teas with regular ice and the regular (100%) sugar level. I loved ordering from the kiosk, it made the process quick and easy and it didn't take long for us to receive our order. The Sakura Burrito was pretty good but I did add some soy sauce to give it some flavor. The Chicken Chow Mein was very good and flavorful but I think the cabbage would've made it taste even better. Unfortunately, our Dirty Sugar Black Milk Teas were overly sweet. It would've tasted 10x better if we chose less sugar but they were too sweet to even finish. For future visits, we will select either little or no sugar to our milk teas. Overall, I love their large array of food and drinks to order and we'll be back to try other items on the menu for sure."
"Poke bowl prices keep going up. The service is good, as are the portions, but the new owners raised the prices since rebranding from Domoshi to Molly Ramen."
"This place is located in a strip mall over by the coliseum. Lots of options to eat around here. I was in the mood for sushi so decided to give this place a try. There were a few of us in there for lunch. The lunch menu consists of some bento boxes, and sushi. I went with the two rolls. There weren't a lot of options for the two rolls because most of them were actually vegetarian. So if you're a vegetarian, this is a good place for you! Presentation was really cool! Kind of hard to eat though because I am left-handed but it looks super cool so no complaints! The food came out pretty quick. It was pretty tasty! You can pay at the table using a QR code or she will take your credit card. Not a bad place!"
"This is my go to Poke Bowl place in Town Center. They do have a lot of other locations but because i live near by, this is my spot. Every time I order the quality is always consistent and soooo yummy. They always give you so much toppings and its just delish! The service & the vibe is cute. I got my food for take out and it was quick and fast! Word of advice: if youre doing pick up, order on the website ahead of time."
"I thought this place was really good. It's in shopping center so there is plenty of parking. They have 2 kiosks that you order your food. It was really simple and user friendly. I ordered a poke bowl and crab rangoon. They have a pretty big menu. They have more than the other place like this one. WInk wink. They have sushi and ramen and poke bowls and all sorts of apps and more. After you order and pay, you sit and wait. Your number is on top of your receipt. They have some cute seating areas with comfy couches and chairs. They also have tables. Food came out fast and the portions were generous. I was surprised how much I liked the crab rangoon. Great price and generous order. The poke bowl was fresh and exactly how I ordered it. They were busy and hustling but still friendly with a smile. I would definitely go back and would recommend."
"I'm giving them 3 stars as their poke bowls and boba tea are good. however, steer clear of the sushi, or at least the salmon rolls. The rice they used is not seasoned, tastes like mush, and the soy sauce they have might as well be dyed water for the amount of flavor you get. Seriously, if you want sushi, go next door to Harris Teeter and grab some as I guarantee it will taste better."
