I started with the potato soup, now, when I say that this is the best potato soup that I have ever had, I am a veteran of hundred of bowls from dozens of place! The soup alone was worth going!! Following the soup I had the biggest and one of the tastiest club sandwiches that I have ever been served! And the fries were also top notch, crispy, not greasy at all, beautiful!! Ask about the desserts, we had the peach cobbler with ice cream, it was hot and with the cold ice cream just spectacular!!! Tara was super friendly and efficient, and saw to it that we had everything that we needed, so nice! You have to go here!! If you can go on a night when Chris is playing you'll thank me even more!! I will be back again and again."

They stayed around even after is started to drizzle. They offer alcohol vouchers so make sure you get your ID wrist band and get your tickets before you settle where your am hanging out. They have free parking garages not far from area. And other shops to eat and drink all around. I got my vouchers for my beer and got a pizza before the end of the night. I mean. Ynot right? They have restrooms inside so when you need to potty after all the beers. You can also get more vouchers inside. The pizza are so yum and fresh."

It's become an icon of the oceanfront and is often featured on race medals, shirts, stickers, you name it. It's a giant status of, you guessed it, King Neptune himself with his trident and holding a sea turtle with plenty of other marine life below him on rocks. It's pretty damn cool.No matter how many times I see it, I always snap a photo of it when I'm close to it. It's co-located with the Hilton and Catch 31 and has a large stage for music and events across from it. With the beachfront right there, it's an awesome location and one locals are used to seeing but it never fails to impress the visitors I overhear seeing it for the first time."

Nessa S. "Just ate at this place 3 min ago. We were excited as we've heard good things. So first off walking in we were greeted and we asked to sit by the window because there were less people and we wanted to be able to chat and not disrupt anyone else but also so my friend can hear (away from the crowd the waitress plopped the menus down as if annoyed it set the vibe right away, but ok maybe it's been a busy day. They don't have their drinks n the menu so every soft drink my friend asked for they didn't have but when asked what they did have she couldn't tell us... I think her attempt at sarcasm came off as just snarky and quite frankly rude. We ordered and my friend ordered the crispy chicken sandwich with the sauce and whatnot on the side. She read it back to us so we know she heard it. Her sandwich came out before the rest of us and it was wrong. My friend said politely said to the young girl that brought it that it was made wrong. They took the sandwich with an eye roll and then our food came out. My burger and fries were amazing. The food was very good. However we were done eating before my friend eventually said to take it off the check and left. They brought the sandwich out 5 min later. I paid for it as it was made. We asked for a box 3x before my other friend got up and asked at the bar. Again met with an attitude like asking 3 x for a box isn't patient enough. We already settled our checks. As we were leaving they are all just standing there looking at us. So my review is the food is amazing. Get it to go - because the service is nothing to brag about. Maybe the waitress had a bad night but apparently her bad mood rubbed off on her coworkers. Don't be salty having to remake a sandwich that you messed up relaying the order to the cook. Or maybe the cook messed up, either way my friend didn't do anything to deserve the attitude when she just asked for the sandwich to be made to her order. We were nothing but polite even after all the attitude. I don't live here so I won't be back anyway but listen I'm not someone who complains. I understand crap happens but I am big on customer service and this world is mean enough. It's expensive and we just wanted to have a good meal not deal with whatever they had going on in there tonight."

Trent L. "Before I begin, let me begin by saying that this review is based solely upon my personal experiences and my personal experiences alone! So with that being said let's begin. My wife and I arrived approximately 7:20 pm for the 8:00 pm comedy show. Starring Chris Tucker! We stood in line and was greeted by an employee who verified our ticket purchases. As we got to the front entrance there was a table where everyone entering the building had to put their smartphones and smart watches in lock up pouches to prevent recording of the event!.We walked in the entrance and walked upstairs as we waited for the ushers to allow us to go to our assigned seats. There was popcorn, candy as well as bottled water, beer and alcoholic beverages for purchase. There wasn't any food ( hot or cold ) for purchase, so if you arrived hungry looking for food ti purchase you were disappointed! The show started off with a stand up comedy skit from a comedian from Atlanta, ( I'm sorry I can't recall his name at this time ). After he finished he introduced Chris Tucker who received a huge standing ovation from the audience!. The comedy show was funny and very very entertaining, I would definitely recommend coming here for any event. Unfortunately I took off two stars, here's why :1. There wasn't anything on the website stating everyone had to lock up their devices before entry, otherwise I would've left my stuff in the vehicle as opposed of carrying around two pouches for no reason!2. There wasn't and options to purchase any food!Overall this didn't put a damper on the evening, and I will definitely return for another event some time in the future.Remember I couldn't take any photos of the venue because my phone was locked away in carry pouches."

We came right at the time to be ready for pickup, and it still wasn't ready. It was ready about 10 minutes later. We ordered a cheesesteak and fries, a cheeseburger and fries, and two sodas. My cheeseburger was very good. The only thing I must note was that I had asked for a medium well burger, and it was very pink inside. Their fries were different, but I loved them! They were smaller sliced potatoes instead of long. Hubby stated that his cheesesteak, although yummy, had a burger texture and taste instead of the usual cheesesteak. Overall, the food was good, but I failed to cook my burger the way I wanted. For that, I have to give them four stars."

Oh and for the health factor, I had a Caesar salad which was equally good. The banger and mash with the caramelized onions were delish! Sausage had a crispy outside with a nice texture in the inside. The onions were sweet, maybe they had a little sugar but it complimented the meal well. There's a large bar with TVs and plenty of liquor and beer.My waitress was nice and attentive. Chelsea R. "This place is beautiful!I was invited here via Yelp to check out opening night of "The Hound of the Baskervilles". It's been a long time since I've been to a play. I think my last encounter with theater was about 6+ years ago when Wicked came to the Scope. So I was excited to see and support something a little more local.I had never been to this Theater before, but I had an idea of where it was located. It's pretty much right behind the Macarthur Mall. So if I were you, I would park at the mall and just walk there. Which is what we did. When you walk inside it almost feels like you are taken back in time. To a time where theater was reserved for only those of wealth. It was beautiful to say the least. Most everyone was gathered in the lobby, chatting, and drinking complimentary glasses of Champagne. Not sure if they do this every night they have a play, or if it was because it was the opening night of ours, but it was a great way to kick off the evening. There is also a bar in the lobby. I;d recommend getting a glass of wine or something to sip on while you wait for the show to begin. I did see some people bring their beers into the auditorium, not sure if that's allowed or not, but it seems doable. We were seated in the top section in the center. Great seats, minus the lights on the floor. I think they are emergency lights? They were incredibly bright and actually started taking away from the show, especially when the lights would go dark, which happened a few times during the production. My peripherals were taking a major hit and it started making me a bit sick. If I could have one and only suggestion for the theater it would be to turn them down. They are just entirely too bright. Other than that we had a WONDERFUL time! The show itself had us crying from laughter. It reminded me how much I miss the theater. And attending this one was a real treat! I read from past reviews that they have "A Christmas Carol" playing here during Christmas time. My family and I are always looking for fun Christmas-y things to do while my father is in town. I definitely will make it back here this Christmas so the rest of my family can experience such a wonderful experience at this magnificent theater!"

The space inside was organized, there were numbered tables for those VIP guests who find as well as indulge in alcohol. According to the informational maps that are throughout the Boardwalk it'll take you roughly about fifteen minutes to walk from one end to the other. If you were like me and my family, it's going to take you longer than that. The Boardwalk doesn't just provide a good vantage point for viewing nature, it also connects several spots throughout the town that offer some great spots to dine and shop at. We took advantage of the shopping part and being able to park our car at one spot and not have to do the carhop constantly for our day. It made for a better experience and it didn't make us feel rushed throughout our day. Benches are dotted along the Boardwalk, small vending machines are there as well if you want to feed the wildlife that reside in the Sound. It's a great way to spend a day if you really don't have much else to do. This is understandable since it's been around for decades, but it would be nice to have them update it. It was very hard trying to find our seats inside, because even though they have the sections painted over the entrances inside, the seat and rows are not shown on the concrete floor. (It's even more horrible trying to find it in the dark). We were very disappointed to have been told to throw our water bottle away at the entrance only to see that water bottles were being sold for $3. RIDICULOUS. I ended up ordering The Hangry Bitch, and I asked if they could do my eggs scrambled with cheese instead of over hard. The server said they couldn't do that, so I just got it as is. It came out with a boiled egg, which was really odd, but I ate it. Three of my friends got the same thing, but theirs had an over hard egg (not boiled like mine was). It was weird to me though. The service was really good- they were thorough and attentive without being in our way during the show. They both seemed to enjoy themselves a little and were very friendly to me and my group.I've been here for the drag brunch before covid, and I felt like their mimosas were mostly juice, which is surprising, because my dranks are usually super strong when I go to the gay clubs. The mimosas are still the same, and we ordered a tower to share. It was mostly all juice (very orange looking) and the champagne tasted flat to me, which made me think we didn't get an entire bottle in the tower (waste of money). We did get some tequila shots, and while they did go down smooth, I was shocked when I got my bill ($14 per shot?!), but that's my own fault for not asking. The show was great, and Jazzlyn (spelling?) is always my favorite no matter where I see her- she's sweet, funny, always performs the most wild and fun music and she got my group going! We wanted to see more of Jazz! Talk about showering someone with some bills- that's me when Jazzlyn comes out to perform. It was wonderful to see all the beautiful queens perform, and we really enjoyed ourselves. Everyone needs to come for the show, if nothing else (although everyone has to buy an entree and a drink, alcoholic or non, for the show- business has gotta stay open somehow). It's a whole brunch & a show. A very helpful park employee urged us to skip the park food altogether and head to the north end, where independent restaurants were serving better food at a reasonable price. One we had noticed before was, of course, closed Tuesdays, but when we walked up to Berret's we knew we had found the place. Our waitress Marnie, it turns out, was born on Long Island, but moved out as a child. The decor was perfect for getting us in a seafood mood, and I was quick to check out one of the many craft beers from the area. Since the Lawn tickets to see Janet Jackson were affordable, I figured why not grab them and enjoy a fun concert. Once my daughter and I arrived, we stood for about an hour in a long line before getting into the amphitheater. I read all of the guidelines ahead of time to ensure we had no issues getting in but unfortunately I must've missed the rules stating that we couldn't bring the lawn chair bags inside with the lawn chairs so the security confiscated our lawn chair bags. As we made our way up to the Lawn section, we arrived in good time to sit in a pretty decent area. The jumbo screens definitely helped us view the concert better and the concert was absolutely amazing. Of course once the concert was over, it was a beast getting back to our car with everyone trying to leave at the same time. To my surprise, as we were walking out, the security laid out all of the lawn chair bags that they confiscated for people to retrieve and low and behold, we were able to find both our lawn chair bags which made me very happy. Once we got to the car, it was a mess trying to leave. When you have an abundance of cars all trying to leave out at the same time, it's a recipe for disaster. People literally weren't allowing us out of our parking space and everyone was cutting everyone off. It took us close to an hour to fully depart from the parking lot. It would be very beneficial to have a better system in place when people are exiting after a concert. Overall, I always enjoy seeing concerts here and I plan to see a few more this Summer. *Friendly Reminders - Ensure you take a clear bag. Do not take your lawn chair bag with you. Upon entering I proceeded to the ATM in order to get money to order some drinks. I walk over to the bar and order a margarita on the rocks, no salt. After that, that's where things get fuzzy. I mean on the verge of being scary fuzzy. After a few sips of this margarita, I only remember glimpses of the night. I'm not sure what happened, how it happened, or why it happened, but it is really hard to blackout for a majority of the night after just one drink. The things that I do remember seem ok. I remember the circular dancefloor and talking to a few people while I attempted my best dance moves. I remember the small smoking area. I remember my now missing coat. The last thing I remember is being outside smoking a cigarette.
