We started with chips and salsa because we had a long drive and if the kids didn't have something we would have lost it and had a moment. I had the vegan carne asada tacos with the red sauce, S had the Unemployed Surfer which is a bean and cheese burrito with red sauce. The kids had a vegan quesadilla. All was decent. I would probably opt for the burrito next time as the tacos were a little dry. The quesadilla was very cheesy! It lost points for me because it was very hot, not good ventilation, and our table wasn't cleaned before we sat down."

"Just updating my review here...it's been a long while since we've been here in store. Hubs and I decided for some take out last night, hubby ordered a steak burrito, it was huuuuuge! I ordered a chicken burrito bowl. I've been wanting to try their bowls since I've been seeing it's picture on social for weeks. I asked the young man what all comes in the bowl, I asked if he could put mixed greens instead of rice in the bowl and he said yes. Unfortunately I didn't get any. The bowl had beans, cheese, chicken, guacamole, and pico de gallo. No worries. It was still delicious! It was actually more than I thought. Hubby loved his burrito. We also ordered chips and salsa. I forgot how much we love their daily made salsa. So happy this place still exists and is right around the corner from us! Still a happy fan of Burrito Perdido!"

"Typical Taqueria vibes. Fresh delicious food made to order with a smile. Very friendly informative staff. We dined two days back to back because we enjoyed the food and atmosphere so much. Family friendly, clean, and lively. The location is amazing just a few steps to lots of shopping and entertainment. There is ample parking but not much seating so plan your visit accordingly. Seats do vacate quickly because the folks on the grill keep the food rolling out quickly. Love this place for lunch and dinner. Absolutely amazing. Happy Eating Yeeps!!!"

Every time I visit my aunties here in Virginia Beach we always a must stop by Las Palmas. This Restaurant here in Princess Ann for me is the best tasting, best customer service and just great atmosphere all together We orders queso chorizo dip, dry authentic, I had the Carnitas Michoacan pork deep fried with rice beans fresh lettuce, and also the famous tacos La Piedad. Great stuff. Worth every hard earned money. Try it, you'll like it. We love coming to this particular Mexican joint."

It's pretty small but pretty busy. We were able to snag a booth for the 3 of us. Between the 3 of us we ordered:childrens chicken fingers with french fries, mushroom quesadilla, tierea y mar platillo, elote corn, and stuffed chile relleonos. Service was great. They have enough problems dealing with understaffing and trying to please sometimes the same volume of customers while understaffed. They were definitely having an issue with staffing on Xmas Eve. My friend ordered shrimp fajitas and I ordered the carne asada with fries. The friend was very happy with her shrimp fajitas. My carne asada with fries were not my cup of tea. I remembered thinking, "why are you ordering that?" after the order came out of my mouth. When I return here I will definitely give the carnitas burrito a try.Despite the staffing issues, the staff present were pleasant while they were running around doing their best to keep the customers satisfied. I can't wait to return to try some different foods on their menu."

"We stumbled upon Pelon's Baja Grill after a quick search for some Mexican food. The reviews looked good so we decided to try them out. When we arrived we got menus from the cashier/waitress inside and sat outside. Once we figured out what our order was we went inside and placed it. When the order was ready for us, the waitress brought it outside. Pretty low key, no complaints there. Our food came out pretty quick and was nice and hot! Our kiddos both ordered the nachos. Those nachos was large! Perfect for sharing. We now know for next time. My husband and I enjoyed our burritos, and he got a taco. No complaints really. We loved the menu options and all the different types of burritos."

"Finally trying Cantina Laredo after seeing it above my Pottery Barn store for years! Restaurant Week 2025 is what brought us in the door - but we ended up not ordering from that menu bc what we wanted was much cheaper. The inside is very nice and open and spacious - very generous spacing between tables to the point that the very large 20+ person birthday table near us with our baby wasn't even an issue. The patio is also nice and is a wrap-around patio though it was winter so not open when we were dining. The menu is large and has a ton of items on it and their featured entrees have some inventive options to try like their steak wrapped and shrimp stuffed poblano pepper served on a bed of fried corn. YUM. Didn't try it - but it sure does sound yummy! My husband went with a standard steak burrito, we tried a small side of guacamole which was very good, their complimentary salsa and white sauce with chips was yummy, really liked the salsa. I ordered enchiladas and they have several kinds of those with white sauce, mole sauce, tomato sauce, etc.I really wanted to try some dessert so first we went with the Mango Tres Leches cake. I HATED it. Something about it did not sit right with me. One bite and I was out hard. So we swapped that for the brownie and the presentation of that was wonderful - it comes out in pieces with a hot plate and the brownie is put onto that with sizzling bourbon butter poured on top and topped with a generous portion of ice cream. The brownie looks delish and is thick (like 5 inches thick) but it didn't really taste like brownie - more like cake. They were both kind'of disappointing. Everything was really good and the service was spectacular. We'll be back for sure."

"While visiting VA Beach, my group wanted Mexican and my cousin recommended Jose Tequila's. She said it was her favorite and that made me a little nervous! She is a picky eater and doesn't like much, but she raves about this place. When we arrived we were greeted and sat immediately. I did learn about this white salsa that is only specific to that region. I ordered the steak fajitas. It was a large portion. Plenty for leftovers later. They were great. I also enjoyed the beans and rice. All the plates looked delish. I was satisfied. I would go back and try something different next time."

"Y'all this is our now favorite Mexican restaurant in Williamsburg! Williamsburg has a plethora of Mexican restaurants and since moving here we have tried at least 7 and this one is our favorite! Arriving at prime time on a Saturday night we had to wait about 15 minutes for a table but seeing the place full sent us a good sign that this was a popular spot and we could see lots of delicious food coming from the kitchen. Once seated our waiter was great and got us drink and yummy chips and salads and the famous white sauce. Their chips were yummy and some of the best white sauce I have had. Our food was quick to come from the kitchen and it was all delicious. My husband had a burrito and it was huge and filled to capacity. My chimichanga was nicely prepared and tasted good. My husband also got a Bahama mama and it was nice and strong. Can't wait to go back for another delicious Mexican meal!"

"Time flys. The last time I was at this restaurant was six years ago with a three star rating. Now it's definitely five with the plate I got. My fall back is usually the carne Asada burritoBut I've been on a seafood kick lately and saw the shrimp mango habanero plate. I grabbed it to go since my hotel was close. I was also give a bed of chips with both salsa and white sauce. I should as for more white sauce. My main entree was nicely packaged. And when I opened it up, the aroma alone had me salivating. I could smell the sweetness and the heat. Visually this meal sexy. Sauce wasn't too overpowering but really flavorful. The shrimps were decent size and there was just the right amount. I'm not sure what the starch was. It was like mash potatoes but firmer. Everything on my tray blended perfectly and the tasted out of this world. Definitely if you're not allergic to shellfish, get this. Overall five stars. Parking is plentiful and they have special. I'll be looking for shrimp mango habanero at every Mexican restaurant I go to now. M"

They welcome us and they were able to see us right away.The waitress came and she took our drink orders and offered us some chips and dip. The chips and dip were excellent and freshly made. While she was getting our drinks, we decided on what food items we wanted. We decided on quesadillas and on Pollo Popeyes.The food came out, super quick and piping hot. The place was immaculately Clean and we really enjoyed ourselves. If you're in the area, please make time to stop by and enjoy some food here. It was the only time I have seen it made like this but it was delicious. The chicken enchiladas with mole sauce was good. I thought this was done well. Burrito-my husband had was average. He wouldn't order it again. The chips were over-cooked but they did have the famous white sauce. Was not impressed with the size of the cheese-dip. $4 for a little cup is a little ridiculous. Service was also off. Had to ask two times to get the cheese dip we had ordered for an appetizer and finally got with our meal. I'm not rushing back as there are other Mexican restaurants in the area to still try out."

"I have been wanting to try Señor fox. I was in the area so i called in my order. The restaurant is located next to Red Robin in the Redmill area. They have tons of parking and are located right on the water. Theres a pretty lake you can view while dining on the deck. When i went in they were repairing the front of the building. There weren't to many people inside. The gentlemen brought me my order and was kind and also gave me a soda. How nice!! He was friendly. I ordered the carne asada fries, chupacapra tacos, a side of rice and beans, and it came with chips and salsa... The portion of carne asada fries was pretty big. The fries were a little under cooked and the steak needed seasoning, but i popped it in the air fryer at home and added seasoning and it made it taste better. The rice and beans were pretty good also, again the portion was filling. The chupacapra tacos were 3 tacos in and order. It doesn't come with a side. The tacos were loaded with meat and pretty filling. They were good. I really liked the white sauce that came with the chips. The salsa had no flavor. I mixed it with the white sauce and liked it better.This is a nice place to take the family or for gatherings. The prices are reasonable. I'd return to try other things on the menu. Check them out!!!"

"José Tequilas has been my "go-to" Mexican restaurant for many years due to the great food and exceptional service. Since I was craving authentic, Carne Asada Tacos on a Tuesday (Taco Tuesday lol), I headed straight to the restaurant and was so happy I did.We were greeted right away as soon as we walked in and followed the server to our table. The restaurant is always very clean, which I love, and the servers are so welcoming. I knew exactly what I wanted to order, Carne Asada Tacos, and I swear the food came out in 10 minutes flat! The tacos were absolutely delicious and the carne asada was very flavorful, per usual. My only suggestion would be to double the tortillas so they don't fall apart or possibly serve the tacos with a tad bit less meat. By the end of my meal, I was eating the tacos with a fork lol. The rice and refried beans were just as great. José Tequilas never disappoints and is a great place for amazing food and drinks!!! This location has ample outdoor seating, which will really be nice in the warmer months. Definitely try them out if you haven't been! You will not be disappointed!!!"
