"So glad we discovered this place. Went to the bar for happy hour - the food was delicious, cheap, and the portions were huge!! Totally unexpected for happy hour prices($8). The Cajun steak bites were to die for. Nachos, wings, pizza, mussels & sliders were all bomb. Forgot to take pics of most of the food because it was inhaled! $4 well drinks that were actually strong. The owner was our bartender and she was great. Will return soon!"

"I cannot believe the quality of food that was coming out of this place. You would walk in and never expect the menu they had available! This is noted as a bar & grill but it is very much hookah lounge & nightclub feels, and the DJ was good. First, our server Kendal was an absolute sweetheart and provided a pleasant experience. She suggested a great drink based on my preferences, I ordered two of them. Her recommendations were awesome, I almost regret not getting the parmesan cilantro lamb chops but the Chef Wimbo's Island was more than enough and delicious. This plate had mashed potatoes and on top was a fried lobster tail, white wine sautéed shrimp and salmon stuffed with crabmeat covered in a Gouda cream sauce. Pricey, yes, worth it, absolutely. I would definitely visit here again on my next trip."

"Second time hitting this location & really nothing but good things to say!I made same day reservations and even came an hour early without an issue. They tend to get really busy in the evenings so go early or make sure to make a reservation.Jack, our guide, was helpful in technique and energy. It was nice to have him jump in a few times to help out but didn't feel like hovering. Also, love their enthusiasm for bulls eyes.We have had food and drink- both very good to pair with game play. Snack, bar food like loaded tots, curly fries etcs. Canned beer, cocktails and wine available."

"Fairly nice location in a shopping center with plenty of parking. Visited on a Tuesday for a birthday celebration during their karaoke night. Loved the amount of seating they had to include what I assume was VIP areas on the little couches. Karaoke MCs were great and kept the crowd alive. 3.5 stars rounded down to 3. My friends ordered drinks and it literally took a good 10 minutes when the bar wasn't even that crowded. Can only imagine on the weekend. Flagging someone down then waiting for them to run our card was the longest. Ordered a tequila sunrise and I honestly think they forgot the orange juice in it. I understand more bang for my buck but my goodness! Also, happy hour deals aren't as good as I thought. $7 for our drinks still instead of $10, I assume. Fries were pretty okay. Had a little problem with forgotten food that had to be situated."

"I was lucky enough to find B-52 stopped at Tradition Brewing after a Yoga session - the perfect opportunity to fuel back up! I had the Chicken wings and fries; the wings were crispy and the breading wasn't too heavy - very flavorful and would absolutely have them again. Pricing was more than reasonable and I can't wait to see them stopped at the Brewery again, I want to try the whole menu!"

"I've visited this restaurant 3 times and it was amazing all 3 times! The buffet is always clean and orderly. The atmosphere is comfortable even though I've only had take out. The food though baaabbbyyy is EVERYTHING! It's always fresh and full of flavor. It's never dry like some buffets can be. I give them a 10 out of 10!"

"So for a bar inside a hotel, this place has an awful lot going for it. First off, it's open yet cozy and decorated in a sea/beach sort of theme. Very inviting. Second, they have some INSANE happy hour deals! $5 burger? Yes please! And it was actually quite tasty! Some great drink specials and just generally a good vibe -- unlike some hotels where the wine by the glass is awful at happy hour, they had some nice choices on their menu. Since it's at the hotel, there are plenty of parking places.What wasn't great -- service. Our bartender seemed completely slammed and couldn't keep track of our orders appropriately. Maybe it was just our visit, maybe they were understaffed or something, but it was sort of off-putting that she blew past us several times in favor of other customers (maybe profiling us? Who knows. It was just weird). Also, I had a gift card, and on it, it did not indicate that you could not use it for alcohol. So I cashed in the entire $15, but it only applied $5 to my bill. The server could have just given me the $10 in cash that then I could use on my bill, but she didn't -- and there was no way to go back an retroactively un-use the gift card. So basically, I was just out $10 and still had to pay for my two glasses of wine. I guess now I know -- but it was still annoying that the staff didn't communicate that effectively to patrons.Based on all that, I might go back, but I'm also not jumping up and down to do it any time soon."

Here and there, the owner may open up the venue to the public, but for the most part, once you pay your dues you are in!This venue features: a cigar lounge, full kitchen, outdoor terrace, full service bar, fresh pressed juices with or without spirits, full menu, plush seating and a dance floor.You are able to custom your event to your liking or work with an event planner to bring your vision to an ultimate High!The owner, Sunshine, is just that a ball of sunshine! Super energetic and a great people person. Below the High on High Street, is FitBar... an exercise facility and you can also order food and get fresh pressed juices made to order.This venue is a win win... a real gem in the city of Portsmouth.This venue has been in existence for about a year or maybe less, but the joint venture, FitBar is going on its second year.I was impressed by the venue the first time I checked it out back in November 2017...very classy and sophisticated. Chic and sleek if you will.If you are interested in touring this venue I suggest you reach out to the owner or better yet sign up for an all inclusive membership. You will not regret its benefits and perks.This jewel in the heart of Old Towne Portsmouth is sure to be around for the long haul.Great atmosphere, awesome vibe, amazing clientele...Parking...there is street parking directly in front of the venue and several parking garages.Happy hour takes places at least twice a week.
