"Fast service and good food, wasn't a huge deal of the eel roll as I have had better eel at other places but enjoyed the chicken."
"My son & grandson were visiting from Brooklyn. Their normal meal rotation includes Korean. Of course Grandma wants to please her guys. After searching my Yelp bookmarks for the folder with my grandson's name (all Korean restaurants) we started checking for spots that were still open on the holiday weekend, would deliver or were relatively close. The only choice we had was 757 Korean BBQ. They were no longer preparing orders for delivery. And my Grandson didn't want to leave the dogs to eat out. So my son picked up our order. I'm so glad this restaurant was our choice!Having an ex-DIL who is Korean, I've dined at a plethora of wonderful Korean Restaurants in New Jersey, Brooklyn & Flushing, Queens. But I've never tasted a Beef Bulgogi BBQ as awesome as the dish I had that night. Even at this moment I can still taste the perfect flavor, seasoning & ingredient quality. Eating it as takeout didn't degrade the quality in the slightest. It probably increased my experience since I like food that has slightly cooled. Perfecto!!We had five who ate that night, each with different choices. All were delighted with their choices. My rating for each is 5 stars.I'm looking forward to eating at 757 Korean BBQ in person. But.... Food served straight from the kitchen might not have cooled enough for my taste. :)"

"Finally had my first visit and it was everything my family said it would be.The chicken katsu curry was wonderful! The menu is amazing so, take your time to study it before you order. We were there for dinner but they say the time to be there is during lunch because of the specials. The place is nicely arranged and the staff was welcoming and cheerful. For the ambiance; love the nice touch of fresh carnations on the tables.I did get the octopus balls appetizer and warm sake with a pot of green tea. The green tea was so very good that I almost drank the whole pot by myself!Apologies, no pictures to show this time. There are Korean dishes here that are next on my to try list!"
"A beautiful little home away from home. Reminds me of the quarters of Koreatown in Los Angeles.Everything on the menu is top notch! The service was great, warm, and inviting especially on a cold day."
"After stopping at ShareTea in Chesapeake, I was trying to figure out where to go while heading back home to VB. Decided on Tasty Korean BBQ since it has been quite a while since I have been here. There is dining inside and table and chairs outside as well. Its not really big inside. There were 2 two-top tables and I believe a four top in the back. There is display of china tea sets that looked so pretty.I ordered for takeout the Mandoo and #7 Spicy BBQ Pork mini with Bean sprouts and Macaroni.I could not wait to eat this when I got home as it smell was so enticing as I was driving home.Mando was good and crispy and that Spicy BBQ Pork was tender and spicy, nice heat but not the kind where you can't enjoy it. People who are sensitive to heat probably will think this is to spicy. There was so much that I could only eat some of it. The bean sprouts and mac were good as always. Those bean sprouts are the bomb. I enjoyed my food and definitely miss coming here. I have to come by again more often."
"No pictures of our food for this review because the food was so, so good - and we totally wolfed it down. I was going to place a takeout order via Grubhub, but needed to ask a clarifying question - so I ended up placing my order over the phone since I had her on the line. The owner is super nice, very pleasant, and was very helpful in placing my order. My order was ready in 15 minutes as promised. If delicious crispy chicken with lots of flavor (and extra spice if you're into that kind of thing) is up your alley, then CM chicken is the spot for you. See you guys next time!"
"I truly enjoy this place especially if I am with the family. It was a party of seven celebrating my Son-in-law's birthday. The kids wanted Hot Pot and so did my daughter and I. Both my husband and son-in-law added the Korean B-B-Q as well. Everything was so fresh and clean. The selections for both options are endless. There is something for every palate. Our server was friendly and definitely made sure we lacked nothing. She was consistently checking on us to ensure our orders were placed and received timely. I only have one suggestion. I wish they had a few options of premade sauces. I know everyone has different tastes but a few basics would help someone like me who is just starting out."
"First time here and we loved it! Different experience and very cool. So many options to choose from and All You Can Eat. The ambiance is electrifying! Highly recommend making a reservation, especially on the weekends. I see why this place is always packed! We loved it and will be back!"
"This place is SO MUCH fun!!! Came here with some coworkers and we booked one of the private karaoke rooms. It was super spacious and had all kinds of fun lighting, two microphones, tambourines, and a huge tv. We hooked up one of our phones and found karaoke videos to follow on YouTube. There was a service call button on the wall and the staff was super quick and efficient. I tried the bubble pop drink - which was okay but very sweet. Then I got champagne - which when it came was not champagne but some kind of white wine. The chicken ramen though was the bomb dot com! It was seriously so unexpectedly good and I've thought about it many time since. I may see if they have it on doordash in the future :DAnyway, this was a great spot and created great memories!"
"Hubby and I was looking for a good spot to get some chicken from. So we decided to give this place a try and babeee let me tell you this place did not disappoint. We got the garlic spicy chicken wings, onion rings, bulgogi rice and vegetables bowl and the bulgogi mandu Korean dumplings. Everything was so so good cooked perfectly and very flavorful. The chicken was nice and crispy just how I like it. The customer service was excellent everyone kept checking on us to make sure we were doing good. The place is nice inside. The ambiance was perfect. This place is definitely a must try. We will definitely be back soon."
"I thought I'd treat myself and dine in today instead of working and eating at the same time. I was greeted with a smile and received excellent service throughout my stay. I was also provided with a take out menu and that next time I can call ahead and pay on arrival. Nice!I chose the "make your own" with the delicious chicken teriyaki with fried rice and steamed/roasted veggies. The veggies were sautéed in something tasty, the sweet teriyaki flavor on the chicken paired so well with the fried rice. I was given two sauces; the white sauce (sweet yum yum sauce) and the red sauce (hot and fiery). I bathed my rice in them and mixed everything up like an uncultured person - it was amazing. And all that for 6.99 (fried rice is .99c extra), I've found myself a new favorite lunch spot."

I've been to Sushi Mama a couple times, but this most recent visit was phenomenalMy friend had visited recently and recommended their Korean chicken so I was intriguedWe ordered the salmon ball, fried shrimp shumai, a volcano roll, shrimp tempura udon, 10 honey garlic chicken wings, and the pork katsu which comes with miso soup and a salad. I enjoy the salmon ball-resembling the one that bonchon used to serve but better! I love that the salmon on top is seared with a torch. The volcano roll was portioned well. The pieces weren't too big and there was a good amount. There wasn't a lot of shumai but each piece was delicious. I tried to hog them all tbh. I probably should've ordered more than one but we figured that we ordered enough food to go around. The chicken comes in a 10 piece for one flavor or a combo where you can choose 3 flavors. They were juicy on the inside and nice and crispy on the outside. Same with the pork katsu! I just wish it came with another scoop of rice. The surprise star of the show was the shrimp tempura udon! If you've ever had Filipino bulalo (bone marrow) soup, the depth and flavor reminded me of that! The soup had so much umami, the noodles were perfect, the pepper was just the right amount. I found a new go to whenever I want really good soup! The space is small and intimate. It's nice and quiet. Best for solo dates to groups of 4, maybe 6 if sat at the tables around the entrance. Service is sweet. We were well taken care of and our needs were met. The highlight of the experience was the food lol

This restaurant is definitely a hidden gym. It is tucked into the corner of a shopping center on the border of Hampton and Yorktown. It is fairly small inside, but I'm sure it's not ever extremely packed, but if so, you can always get your food to go. During my time there, there were many take out orders so I'd assume they are fairly quick with them. Our waitress was very nice and attentive and the food came out quick. The food was all 10/10. The rolls they give you are more than enough for one person. The servings sizes of the other entrees are good as well. Please note that if it says spicy, it is definitely spicy lol. On the jaguar roll, the cream cheese throws me off slightly. However, it's not bad. I will definitely be back.

The food here is very good. Entrees are made to order so the food is hot and fresh. We have tried nearly everything on their menu over the years and we have no complaint with the food. There is a small dining area. Today while dining in, we needed to clean the tables ourselves. Kinda gross but the food made it worth the hassle. I am solely rating this establishment 3 stars because they seem to choose who they are friendly with otherwise they are downright rude or cold. There is ample parking here and the food is very good BUT I will not be dining with my family where we do feel welcomed. Happy Eating Yeeps!!!

If this is your first time experiencing this type of restaurant, it may be somewhat overwhelming. The restaurant was packed but we seemed to grab the last table before there was a wait. The waiter was prompt and friendly, she asked if it was my first time and was helpful with explaining the process or ordering and service. After placing the first order, the food took about 15-20 minutes to arrive at our table. The was an issue with a couple missing items but they were eventually taken care of after about another 15 minutes. The restaurant was okay, nothing really pleasing to brag about but it gave date night vibes as far as the lighting was concerned. The food. The food was plentiful and there's plenty to choose from. Overall I had a great time and I enjoyed myself. The only drawback I have is that there really isn't any seasoning with the food so be warned. There is a food bar where you can get sauces and other items to add to your flavor pallet but that's about it. I definitely think it's worth the experience especially if you're a fan of Asian cuisine. I will definitely come back and try it again.

Thank you for a wonderful dining experience. Neon pop vibe breathes fun and excitement to the customers.A big shout out to Ashlyn for being the best server there. "I found this restaurant since my first option for dinner fell through. I just parked and walked until I found someplace promising. This was where I landed! This sushi spot seemed very upscale. The decorations were really well done and the sushi chefs were busy making orders. I sat in front of the sushi chefs and initially it was awkward for me. It was just me alone and no one greeted me. After awhile I went to use the bathroom and debate on whether I should stay. (The toilet was pretty awesome by the way, with a bidet feature I didn't use and a warm seat that took me by surprise!)I decided to stay and sat at the bar instead. There, I received service. I ended up ordering the soju mule, tuna carpaccio, and the salmon skin roll. The mule was very yummy! It was a perfect start to my dinner. Next, the carpaccio. The tuna was so fresh and I loved the flavors together. I was not sure if I should try it but it turned out super yummy. Finally, the star of the show. OH MAN. The salmon skin roll. What a choice! It was divine. The skin was so crunchy and the flavors just went so well together. I keep thinking about that roll! I'm definitely coming back for it!Honestly I would give 4.5 stars if I could but I have to account for the awkward beginning. I just didn't feel welcome initially even though I felt better at the bar. I will still return!"
"Best Korean in area! Love the hot pepper paste, bulgogi, fried rice & mandu. Staff is pleasant & food is great"
"If you want good sushi, try someplace else... I'm so disappointed!!! I came here after doing laundry and working out, thinking I'd be happy to get treated. Nope! My party and I come in and we are greeted with an unfriendly "do you have reservations?" We all look at each, confused as to why we would even need reservations in this strip mall shoebox of a restaurant. We should have turned right around and left. But because we are all starving, we stay.We ordered two orders of gyoza as appetizers and it takes almost half an hour! I'm drinking my water just to get something in my tummy! Of course, all this does is make me pee...and unfortunately, the bathrooms here are gross! The women's is (literally) full of poop and the men's is almost as bad. I search the bathroom and thankfully there are cleaning supplies in the men's room. Whew! After cleaning the toilet, I feel somewhat better about going to pee. This, of course, has almost ruined my appetite. By now, my stomach is raw with hunger. Finally our food comes out. It's mediocre at best but it's still food, so we devoured it. We decided to get a couple more rolls because we were still hungry (and also the rolls we got were pretty small). Again, we wait and wait. Looking around, the restaurant isn't even half full...but apparently there's only one person making food and our second order hasn't even been started. So we decided to cancel the second order and ask for the check so we can leave. Our waitress comes out and she seems somewhat apologetic but had another attitude when someone said something about the wait. For $160 for a party of four, I wish I had saved my money and gone elsewhere."
"The worst part of my experience at SiStar is having the food sit in the back, forcing me to smell it the whole car ride back home.I ordered 6 Pieces of Korean Fried Chicken, with the Seafood Platter. (Oysters, Scallops, Shrimp) It tasted just as amazing as it smelled. The Korean Fried chicken was glazed beautifully, and was very sweet and savory. It had an amazing crust, and the 6 pieces was well priced. The Seafood Platter was all done Tempura style, breaded and fried. Each piece was so juicy, especially the scallops. I was expecting to finish the 6 pieces and seafood platter in one go, but it took over two meals. The portions were great for what I had paid."
"Located in the Jefferson retail shopping system. The food hall I'd open and welcoming. You are greeted by a staff and are seated on a soft cushion at a booth or open table area. The dining area is open, large, and has a clean interior. There are several video walls rotating the food, a large screen with music videos playing, and a large bar area. There is a large menu on the board as well.Upon being seated, you'll scan a QR code to order your food. In the meantime, if you are given water you get two stainless steel cups and a carafe of iced water. Ordering on the phone is quick and easy and there are a fee options for a meal. The food gets served out by a server on a food cart. The service is fast, polite, and friendly. The flavors were rich and flavorful from first bite to last. I would definitely come back and try their other dishes as well."
"Since arriving to this area I have tried two other hibachi style restaurants. I am used to an incredibly delicious restaurant in my hometown. To me, miyaki is the closest to that place. I was satisfied with the ginger chicken and the hibachi New York strip. I look forward to returning and trying the Korean dishes on the menu. My husband said the sushi he ordered was extremely tasty and fresh."
"I visited with D.P. to take part in the $7.57 deal (thanks, Yoonie) and took everything to-go. The owner, Joseph, was so friendly and patient while our indecisive selves figured out what to order. We both ordered the Classic Korean Bowl (marinated bulgogi, bean sprouts, carrots, kale slaw, hot sauce, scallions, sesame oil, roasted sesame seeds, and cucumber). It was FANTASTIC. I love bulgogi, and their marinade is one of best I've ever tried. This version of the bowl for the $7.57 deal is smaller than normal, we were told, but I thought it was the perfect size and hope this becomes a regular option in the future. We also ordered the slushies. It was kind of the owner to offer samples of all three flavors: mango, strawberry, and peach. My favorite was the mango but the other two flavors are on par as well. I ended up getting a blend of strawberry and peach while D.P. got the mango. Fair warning, they're very sweet but I thoroughly enjoyed them. Naturally, I added bourbon to the second half when I got home. We also tried the pastries - a coffee muffin and sweet almond cake. Delicious! The best part is this shop features local art for sale which I could've spent all day looking at. It's going to be swapped out at the end of the month."
"Military and First Responders receive their 10% with valid badge or identification to exclude alcohol. Always a good way to start your visit !!!With plenty of seating area and a large bar you will be directed to your table as soon as you walk in. Now you can enjoy that Soju shot and a draft beer for $8.95 or four classic chicken strips with fries for $10.99. Specials do change from time to time so do check for new promotions. Now to the menu items, like them soy garlic wings which are always so delicious and crunchy. Or the Bulgogi which is another of my favorites, so so delicious with some seasoned zucchini fries or seasoned fries. Another must try are the loaded Bulgogi fries or the Korean Tacos (Spicy Chicken, or Marinated Ribeye). And you can also enjoy your Korean Donuts or Mochi Ice Cream for sweet deserts. Also check for future events like Karaoke, and family events."
"Korean fried chicken, legit Korean ramen. If it were a bit more spicy I'd be there every week."
"Omg! Delicious. Moved here and was missing my OC/LA Korean food. Not the same but pretty damn satisfying and good for this area. Weekends they don't do the soup but on weekdays if you ask the owner's wife she'll tell her husband (the chef) to make Jjamppong (seafood noodle soup) or Sundubu-jjigae (tofu soup). This place is super good and everyone we've brought enjoyed it and will usually ask to go back again. Don't skip or sleep on this one. Try it out and enjoy the delicious meal they offer."
"Love this place. It is such a gem. The service is great and the sushi is delicious. We also tried the fried rice and stir fry which is also great."
"Hands down, my absolute favorite Korean BBQ. The most authentic I've had in this area. I live in VB, and I will stop by any time I'm on this side of the bridge. The building is old, and its a hole in the wall...which means the food is gonna be bomb! Service is fast and friendly. Tables are clean. They don't let our water cups go empty. They're on top of it all.I always get the Spicy Pork Bulgogi. The meat is perfectly marinated. It has the authentic smoky flavor, like it was cooked over charcoal. They give you plenty of bonchan (side dishes) and are always willing to refill them. The lunch portion is perfect for me, and leaves just enough room for a dessert from The Bread Garden (Korean Bakery down the road.)100% recommend this place. I'd gatekeep this one, but I love this small mom and pop spot and hope they NEVER EVER close."
"The food was excellent, and service was wonderful. It's a quaint intimate space, where the chef makes the rolls right in front of you. He's very friendly and super talented. Highly recommend!"
"Food portions were huge and food was delicious! Super crispy, full of meat and flavorful! We got to try a new spiral potato they are rolling out and it is fantastic - a must try!!"
"FOOD COMA ALERT!!! MUST EAT!!! I had my husband pick up dinner from here so I can't review on service or ambience myself. My husband did say that the guy working there was friendly and super helpful. Food-wise though, I can definitely review. I was impressed off the bat with the packaging of the food. It came in a cardboard box with a handle, making for clean and easy transport while looking aesthetically pleasing. Even unboxing it, the presentation of it was packed away nicely and all food items were separate. Not going to lie, I was a little worried and disappointed when I saw the wings. I'm so used to wings looking saucy and normally when wings look dry, it's a sign that it's not going to be good. But that small negativity was squashed when I took my first bite! Not only were the wings super flavorful, it was juicy and well-cooked. I love how big the wings were, making the portions well deserved its price. The fries were also golden and crispy. I only got to each 2 wings each (4 altogether) before getting satisfyingly full. I can't wait to dig into the rest for lunch tomorrow! Overall, I will definitely be getting my wings here instead of wing stop when I'm craving some chicken. Everyone must come and try this place out!"
"Just tried the new Korean fried chicken place in Chesapeake and wow! The chicken was insanely crunchy, exactly how I like it. Their sauce had great flavor and the spice level was perfect, not too mild but not crazy hot either. I got my food delivered and it was piping hot, which is awesome. Portions were good for the price, totally worth it. Definitely ordering from them again. So happy with the food and service. Five stars!"
"After moving from a place with a lot of Asian cuisine, I'm more picky about the flavors of any food I get here on the East Coast.BALI BALI is some of the best fast Korean BBQ I've had! It's a small family business, and they are all so nice. 5/5 for service: they forgot to give me a plate for my order and he literally sprinted across the parking lot after me to make sure I got it!5/5 for food: Their Bibimbap is one of the freshest I've ever had - lots of fresh veggies like cucumber and carrot, and the egg was cooked perfectly! Sauce was sectioned in its own place so I could determine how spicy I wanted it, which I appreciated.Their mandu is also now my favorite! Beautiful balance of meat to veggies, not over-spiced like others; it's nice and crunchy and golden.Whenever I see them in the area I'll definitely make sure to stop, say hi, and get some delicious food."
