Lisa O. "Decent size place with plenty of seating. I like that there are sections of seating. More intimate. Our server was great. I had a couple of questions and she was more than happy to help. I ordered a hot tea right away because it was super cold out. She brought it right away. We ordered appetizers and when my husband also ordered a hot tea she brought us an entire pot of hot tea. THat was FANTASTIC. I had never been brought the whole pot of tea before. Our appetizers came quickly but the flavor and consistency of the Gyoza- pork dumpling were underwhelming. We also got the Yakitori-grilled chicken skewers, They were nice and hot but the texture was like they were raw in the middle.Main Food came quickly as well. Ordered the Rainbow Roll, that was good and we also ordered the VA Beach Crunch Roll-it says spicy tuna but it really wasn't spicy. We enjoyed the flavor and freshness of our rolls. If you happen to look up at the ceiling you will see where someone has shot toothpicks up there. Totally bizarre. Overall I will give them a solid 4. They would have gotten a 5 but the appetizers were not that great. Everything else was good."

Anne R. "We came around 3pm for a late lunch/early dinner and were pleasantly surprised to be able to partake of the lunch specials that would end at 3:30pm.I decided on the daily $5.95 Mango Martini special which was actually a bit more sour than expected, but cocktail-sour-appropriate level. I almost wonder if it was the sweetness of the house salad dressing that then made the cocktail seem a bit more sour than expected. The house salad was included with the lunch 3 Maki Special, which was 6 pieces of Philly, California, and Spicy Tuna rolls for $13.95.The combo hibachi lunch of chicken and steak for $14.50 was a great deal with a naturally sweet and salty teriyaki sauce and plenty of cooked vegetables and fried rice along with a soup or salad.Shrimp tempura appetizer came with 3 shrimp and a set of tempura vegetables- all perfectly crispy and not too oily, with a very light soy vinegar dipping sauce that's much less salty than straight soy.The service was efficient and kind and managed to welcome a walk-in group of 20 people around 4pm with barely a blink of an eye when setting up room for them to all sit together with no advance notice."

Damien J. "Kero Sushi has been a favorite place for Sophia and myself since 2020. Their food has never been disappointing on every stop. Sometimes we went out with friends and other times just the two of us. Lately, we've sort of made this a go-to for lunch a few times after going to the movies. Let's see how this visit turned out. After checking out Blink Twice (good movie BTW), we walked in and were immediately seated by the staff. It was half full of customers, which is always fine for us. And everyone was pretty busy taking orders and prepping food. But a pretty calm vibe throughout. For lunch, we ordered lunch boxes which are favorably priced. It did take a while for our food to come out only because they had to deep fry the orders so in the meantime, they brought out a sample of their cucumber salad. It was actually pretty good to where I might order it down the road. Glad for the staff to save us during the wait. For my selection, I chose the chicken tempura lunch box, which came with french fries, California rolls, tempura veggies, salad, an orange slice and miso soup. Everything was delicious. I would've liked to have more seasoning on the veggies, but the sauce took care of it. Just a fine meal to have yours truly full for the afternoon. Great food with tentative staff. A win-win if you ask me. Till next time :)"

We brought my son's best friend, and he was amazed. The food was excellent, and the staff were very pleasant. The chef was both amazing and funny, making it our favorite hibachi restaurant. The restaurant is clean and has a slightly upscale appearance. This was the first time we sat at a hibachi table, and it was worth it. The first time we came, we didn't have a reservation and had to sit at a regular table and order off the regular menu. So, one thing to note is that you need to have a reservation. Parking can be challenging with street parking, and you may have to walk a bit. There might be a parking garage nearby, but I'm not sure of its distance from the restaurant."

Chelsi U. "I found this restaurant since my first option for dinner fell through. I just parked and walked until I found someplace promising. This was where I landed! This sushi spot seemed very upscale. The decorations were really well done and the sushi chefs were busy making orders. I sat in front of the sushi chefs and initially it was awkward for me. It was just me alone and no one greeted me. After awhile I went to use the bathroom and debate on whether I should stay. (The toilet was pretty awesome by the way, with a bidet feature I didn't use and a warm seat that took me by surprise!)I decided to stay and sat at the bar instead. There, I received service. I ended up ordering the soju mule, tuna carpaccio, and the salmon skin roll. The mule was very yummy! It was a perfect start to my dinner. Next, the carpaccio. The tuna was so fresh and I loved the flavors together. I was not sure if I should try it but it turned out super yummy. Finally, the star of the show. OH MAN. The salmon skin roll. What a choice! It was divine. The skin was so crunchy and the flavors just went so well together. I keep thinking about that roll! I'm definitely coming back for it!Honestly I would give 4.5 stars if I could but I have to account for the awkward beginning. I ordered the chicken and shrimp bento box to go. I was leery that the take out portion wouldn't be the same as that of done in; but I needn't even worry in the first place. When my order number was called, one staff member said he forgot something. They also serve Japanese appetizers such as tempura, BBQ squid, and noodles, such as Yakisoba and Udon. Some of my usual orders are Spicy Girl (deep-fried spicy crab meat and shrimp tempura), shumai, kani salad, seaweed salad, shrimp sashimi, and spicy crab hand roll. Since it's all-you-can-eat, you can try anything on their menu. They also offer a la carte, but personally, their AYCE menu is worth it. The staff are amiable and patient with us even after multiple ordering rounds. The lanterns and the decorations give a Japanese restaurant ambiance. My party and I come in and we are greeted with an unfriendly "do you have reservations?" We all look at each, confused as to why we would even need reservations in this strip mall shoebox of a restaurant. We should have turned right around and left. But because we are all starving, we stay.We ordered two orders of gyoza as appetizers and it takes almost half an hour! I'm drinking my water just to get something in my tummy! Of course, all this does is make me pee...and unfortunately, the bathrooms here are gross! The women's is (literally) full of poop and the men's is almost as bad. I search the bathroom and thankfully there are cleaning supplies in the men's room. Whew! After cleaning the toilet, I feel somewhat better about going to pee. This, of course, has almost ruined my appetite. By now, my stomach is raw with hunger. Finally our food comes out. It's mediocre at best but it's still food, so we devoured it. We decided to get a couple more rolls because we were still hungry (and also the rolls we got were pretty small). Again, we wait and wait. Looking around, the restaurant isn't even half full...but apparently there's only one person making food and our second order hasn't even been started. So we decided to cancel the second order and ask for the check so we can leave. Our waitress comes out and she seems somewhat apologetic but had another attitude when someone said something about the wait. For $160 for a party of four, I wish I had saved my money and gone elsewhere."

As soon as we arrived, our waitress welcomed us with a warm smile and promptly attended to our table. She was efficient in taking our drink orders and gave us ample time to peruse the menu. For appetizers, we ordered gyoza and fried chicken. While I missed the chicken skewer that was no longer available, the gyoza was a delightful surprise. It was cooked to perfection - crispy at the bottom and soft and chewy on top. The filling was fresh and moist, earning a solid 5/5 rating. The fried chicken, while fresh, had a batter more akin to American Chinese sweet and sour chicken than a crispy coating. Served with a sweet chili sauce, it left us wishing for a crispier texture. I would rate it a 3/5.My youngest opted for a simple crab roll, which was fresh and satisfying with the classic combination of rice and imitation crab, earning a perfect 5/5.Both my eldest and I chose the steak hibachi, which was served with fried rice and veggies. Accompanied by three sauces, we found the thinnest sauce to be the most flavorful, reminiscent of bulgogi. The rice and veggies were simple yet well-prepared, offering a clean and fresh taste. However, the steak was a bit tough and lacked flavor, albeit redeemed by the dipping sauces. I would rate it a 4/5.My husband ordered the chicken hibachi, which came with the same sides and garnered similar feedback. The chicken was good, albeit slightly lacking in flavor, but not overcooked. He would rate it a 4/5.Throughout our meal, our waitress and an older gentleman checked in on us multiple times, engaging in pleasant conversation and showing great kindness to our children.Overall, our experience at Inaka was wonderful, and we would definitely return if we find ourselves in the area again."

As far as food, I was contemplating between the filet mignon and chicken or just the chicken. I settled for the chicken and it was exceptionally well made. The overall prices are well worth it, considering the amount of food your getting + the entertainment of it being prepared right in front of you. There was so much food I had to get the rest to go.
